This song was an iconic banger in 1993, and it’s still an iconic banger in 20XX.
The start of this stage is ingenious. First time playing as a kid it didn't occur to me why the first thing I saw was a car I couldn't shoot, and it was so regular looking. Then the first enemy appears and it hits you, those are people fleeing the scene. When you're seven years old that realization just puts you in super hero mode. 'TIME TO BUST BOTS AND SAVE LIVES!" xD
You should watch the Egoraptor of Megaman why was THE perfect game in that time
Svart fra Sør that was always the most awesome feeling of video games, YOU are the hero and with that you feel you have to do everything in your power to keep everyone safe like real life
I'll always love Megaman classic, I've had a lot of fun with those games adn they mean a lot to me. But... I've always like X better. I like the X music better, and the different movement options make the game feel more "action-y" than Classic. I've never been very good at the X games, or classic for that matter, but I will love those titles so much. And like you said... X is a total superhero
MMX1 had the best level design in all of the series, the only thing I didn't like were the uneven difficulty spikes in some areas.
I am a medical doctor and COVID has taken it's toll on me, I'm exhausted, in the brink of tears every night ...but I get to work listening to this song AND feel way better!
Gracias por arriesgarte por los demas! You do important work now more than ever.
@@sneekiersnek3122 you have to realize a lot of people is actually comfortable like this and they dont value their freedom, they love being herd around

Awwww shit. I'm gonna play the X series again.
Par Vee Gonna have to put the MMX Collection in my Wii and do some wall dashing and X Busting today. Too much nostalgia. :)
And these games are why nowadays I just go bonkers with a good retro-synth style song, theme and/or remake, etc...
Hell yeah. Welcome to Capcom 1993 Super Nintendo. *high five retro brothers*
The lead synth in this is the only version I've heard that feels like it truly captures the spirit of the original. When it's an overdriven metal guitar lead, it just doesn't fully feel right. But this feels so good.
which is interesting because overdriven guitar was what the original was going for, but the "real thing" doesn't sound quite right
i think it's because, even though the SNES soundtrack was created to emulate the guitar, because we have nostalgia for the original soundtrack and how it sounds, not how its *supposed* to sound, we'd rather it sound more familiar than more realistic.
Ok hear me out. I feel like this song and this version specifically were inspired by other songs and sounds. Listen to in the air tonight by phil collins and the killer instinct main track. See if you dont find some similarities. Such a great job!
This was the ultimate intro stage. It literally teaches you all about the game without guiding you through texts, but with gameplay. I love this game so much! 🥰🥰
X : We Gotta Stop Every Single Mavericks!
Dr.Light : **Everybody's Kung Fu Fighting!**
WE NEED MEGAMAN X9
*NOW*
How about that Mega Man X9 fan game its really cool you can play it right now
YES I AGREE
Idea for the opening stage
The opening stage is a flashback to all of the intro stages throughout the x series basically from X1-X8
Edit: only a chunk of each intro stage and the boss is vile in his ride and he has 2 phases phase 1 you have to destroy his ride armor phase 2 take out vile
Edit 2:also want an xtreme3 and legacy collection 3 and x10 and X11 and x12
Prepare yourself X. Because someday, we will not only have to fight the mevericks, but against our own destiny

X8 True Ending
The first like in my life, thank you
Who could foresee that the end of the Maverick Wars would be just the conclusion of one series of battles in a long chain of endless wars fought in the furtherance of an idealistic dream - that peace between humans & Reploids was possible, though the cost to achieve it would be great indeed?
This only proves even more that we need a Megaman X Movie written and directed by the fans.
Just imagine, if you will, an X movie, with all the work done by fans. They would be given a budget, of course, and the MM community could all come together to create it. Obviously, Dominic could be a composer for music (Just look at all his previous works!) and we could select community members to be actors or write the script or direct, whatever roles it would require. I think it could end up turning out beautifully, with the right people.
I agree. But I'm digging the anime style more tho. Y'know, something in the "Day of Sigma" OVA or the clip from Sound Holic's "X Buster", with the voice actors of X8 (or any others, as far as they are good, I'm okay with it xD)
I think that could work beautifully! But we need to find someone who would be willing and talented enough to draw all that.
Slightly Miffed Heavy awww i'll have to sold my lung to see that movie! Ugghhh take it, i don't need it anymore
Already sold as soon as the drums started. Really interesting arrange.
i actually was sold as soon as i saw that title and heard these synth at the start
running at an ruined Road never felt so great
『DN Games』 no
Just running at a ruined highway with the X buster isn’t the same
without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best remix iv ever heard of this track. old snes ost are hard to remix and remaster, but you are one of the handful of people to full replicate the heart and soul of the original. even when capcom remade the track in the updated game, it wasnt as good as yours. you are a national treasure.
National huh? Why stop there, when this track's greatness can be listened to from anywhere around the world! This is an international treasure in my books.
There comes a time when a song has gone beyond perfection
Like Cynthia's theme, like M.E.G.A.L.O.V.A.N.I.A, and now The One and Only
I can picture this theme being used for the beginning of a full length Megaman X movie.
Picture this:
0:00 The film company's written logo's appear and disappear like in a classic 90's film, only they are glitching like the X in this video. After the logo's we see the warning message left by Dr Light warning everyone about X before fading to black.
0:43 Cut to the highway being attacked by the mavericks we have seen before in the intro stage in X1. Fire is everywhere, the sky is dark, wrecked cars are all over the place and the mavericks seem unstoppable. Until one Maverick is hit by a powerful charge shot and is completely destroyed. The other Maverick's look down the highway to see who it is and camera pans and zooms down to the other end of the highway.
1:05 X comes into shot. He is facing forward towards the camera holding his X buster in front with smoke coming out of it. The fire reflect's off of his shiny blue robot body as the title of the film "Megaman X" flies into view. X begins to run down the highway shooting down any Maverick in sight who try their best to defend themselves, but just can't seem to stop this blue bomber.
1:48 X encounters a giant bee shaped robot that begins to rapid fire at him. With well timed ducking and rolling, X dodges the rapid fire whilst firing back at any opportunity open to him. He eventually takes it down only to find that the floor is collapsing. Before the falling road hits the ground, he jumps up and scales the walls to get back up to the highway and continue taking down the Mavericks. More Mavericks and another giant bee robot later, he climbs to a high part of the highway where he sees something moving in the clouds
2:32 A black shadow is seen in the clouds above. The whirring sound of engines thrusters can be heard and out of the clouds comes a weaponized aircraft. The camera is far back to show the sheer size of the hovercraft and how of the highway it covers.
3:16 X closes his eyes, holds his X buster to his chest and holds his X buster with his other hand. He takes a few deep breaths and says to himself "Fight for justice, you are not afraid. You are not afraid! I! Am! Not! Afraid!"
3:37 X runs along the highway as it slopes down towards the hovercraft. The hovercraft drops a self driving car and begins to shoot at X. X dodges every shot he can whilst also trying to avoid the car. The car hits him back but he gets back up before he can be shot. He destroys the car with a charge shot and uses the somehow undamaged door as a shield to fight back against the shots. He takes a few pot shots but keeps going. He then uses what shot's and energy he has left to destroy the guns on the hovercraft.
5:27 The hovercraft instead of flying away, opens a door and lowers down a battle mech controlled by the purple war machine himself, Vile. (This would be where it fades into the boss theme)
This was all thought of on the spot.
You're welcome haha
Z21GamerLuke I imagine it took awhile to write all this down so you deserve my thumbs up
That solo starting at 3:15 too OP, please buff. 10/10.
@@RXH14 If something is "too OP" and you want them to be made weaker, they are nerfed not buffed. To buff something is to make them stronger.
3:38 the most epic part
how about some *CHILLS* with that penguin ?! ?! !?
This is what I called an optimized remix. Just the right amount of extras to take a masterpiece into a new era.
This song is LIIIIIIIIT! Brings me back to my Super Nintendo days as a wee lad but EVEN BETTER!
Can't stop listening to this... The atmosphere... (Especially the car which passes over a puddle at 0:12. Gotta love that Doppler effect you put there.) the sound effects... (like the blunt object dropped at 0:08), the guitars... The original track never sounded so perfect. You made this song full justice. Not surprised why your MMX Corrupted arrangement are that good. You've got some serious talent.
I got goosebumps listening to this over and over and over throughout
Year 21XX
Is midnight...
The enemy attack begins under the city
But...
A blue robot fallen of the darkness with a cannon on his arm...
The Name of this misterious hero is X
Every time I listen to this I can just see X, Zero, Axl & Alia (lead guitarist, second guitarist, drummer and synth player respectively) play this song on a HUGE stage.
Zero: Hey X, What are you doing today-
X: *Jamming out to this Masterpiece of a Remix*
I can feel it....
Comin in the air tonight...
Oh lord
I always wonder why companies don't tend to make something like a contest and allow fans to contribute not only with drawings and designs for characters but also with soundtracks. We've got so many fantastic ideas sparkling here and there for game songs that I just get shocked by that fact alone...
6 years later this remix is still a banger.
The fact that anyone would downvote this is beyond me.
Really did the original justice! That riff at the 3:10 ish mark blew the whole thing out of the water. Goosebumps for days!
*pew pew pew pew ...... *charging noises .... *PEEEEEWWW!!!!!!
He snapped. Love it when an artist shows appreciation for an original piece, it really shows in their music.
Once I noticed your new username and profile pic I knew something epic was about to happen. Welcome back!
Really awesome stuff. I've been subscribed to you since that MMX Corrupted project.
seekertosecrets JKB has been live streaming work on the game these past few days. Its far from dead.
I keep coming back to this.
So do I. I realy hope this soundtrack will be in the MegaMan X fan game that JKB is working on.
Maybe as a song for the credits.
BEHOLD YOUNG PEOPLE! THE POWER OF MIDI AND THE EIGHTIES AND DESPAIR!
This. Is by far. The best rendition of Central Highway's theme. I have ever heard.
And it's not even close.
Imo it sounds waay too tame, clean, and heroic for what was a chaotic, desperate, badass piece throwing you into the destruction of the realistic central highway when you know nothing about yourself or your objective other than to stop as many mavericks as you can, armed with nothing but your basic arm cannon
When you find a MMX remix so perfect you have to hold back tears...
Incredible work my dude!
I can NEVER get tired of this song in both original and all it's remixes throughout the years. Play it my funeral so there will be no mourning. Only a radical energy flowing through.
This song kicks ass when driving, especially since I live next to a long tunnel, hearing my cars v8 roaring while this is blasting is something else.
Constantly coming back to this remix. I love the vibes of this song
Megaman "X"...jamais esquecerei minha infância!!! Obrigado eterno HERÓI!!!!!!!!! S2
I suck at MegaMan games, but the soundtracks to the X titles are just too good to ignore!
I remember playing a PC port of X3 as a kid (part of a shareware collection on CD-ROM) and getting super hyped because of the music.
And then i suddenly got to play as Zero, who was super awesome with his sword/blade, and the output from his Buster was so huge when fully charged!
You can just feel the 90’s on this
Somehow you made this song sound even MORE 90's than it was before, I didn't even think that was possible.
Perfection
very clearly the best opening stage remix on youtube
May these games and the memories of them live on forever
The intro reminded me of the start of Killer Instinct's theme.
Woow, totalmente original!
"The future is in danger, the robots that served the humanity are now corrupted and out of control... However, this is not the end! the world already have a new champion! the only and one! Limitless! X! 'drums beats and guitar noises intensifies'"
This is the real shit. Glad to hear music from you again.
I cried.
No, but seriously, great track. I will go as far as to say that this track should be included in MMX Corrupted OST, but play during a side mission of some sort.
this remix almost makes me wanna cry because its just beyond perfection for a nostalgic reminiscence
It feels more than just love when i hear those synths echoing, i listened this from cellphone with earplugs on while walking snowy sidewalk from highway and it was afternoon getting darker, this song fit well that day, very chill.
Missed your Stuff Dominic. Can't wait for what you bring later in the future. *thumbs up*
So it is 2020.
Am I the only one who listens to this song over and over again?
FrankyStein not at all. this is one of the most incredible remixes of ANY video game track I've heard.
honestly, I'm not sure which is better: this, or his Eurobeat remix.
Classic goose bump inducing track that absolutely slays today.
That opening..... is LIT!!!!!
This is absolutely incredible! I love how the lead sounds like the original! This is really inspiring thank you for this!!!!!
OH BOI PURE NOSTALGIC
Don't ever stop making these. Great work!!
I'm watching this in 2020 and it's freaking awesome
Two words: 100% Epic. This makes me feel like I'm jumping and shooting though the first stage, and its almost the original, with your own unique, awesome flavor to it. Well done good sir, well done indeed! I can't wait to browse your channel and also hear future projects!
I wish we got a proper, more serious remake of Mega Man X. I'd love if they incorporated the expanded story into the game and gave more character to Mavericks like Storm Eagle and Vile
this soundtrack is just so great. I love the tranquility of the intro and the accelerating beat that follows. Very epic.
Man. Simply epic, this is my favorite intro stage and this remix is so dammit cool!
Awesome!! This song make me hopeful!
Wow! This video needs more attention. One of the best remixes of the X1 Intro Stage I've heard.
Was listening to the original over and over before finding this. I like this even more!
i have jammed this non stop for the last couple weeks. that synth solo makes me headbang so hard my hat flies off
*READY*
Goosebumps.. so many goosebumps.. I needed this to start my day.. thank you.. and thanks to JKB Games for Sending me here..
I love how faithful this is to the voices and composition of the original. This is how a good remix is done.
Awesome mix! Good to see you're back!

This is one of the best Opening Stage tunes (along with others) in a video game. This remix of it is amazing too.
the memories of when my cousin and I would play any MM series, but specifically MMX.
Now imagine this song on a MMX 2D HD remake for 2018!
When I first played this game, the opening stage as a 9 year old, The first thing I did was run away after seeing the first car come my direction, thinking it would hit me 😂
Can really hear the work that went into this, thank you.
This is so perfect, captures the original so well.
When X9 gets announced I’m gonna be back here....... it’s probably gonna be soon :,( God do I miss the mega man x games.

Donde le puedo dar ME ENCANTA a esta obra maestra?! 🔥😍
Ah yes, one of my favorite remixes.
This is amazingly well done! My favorite game as a kid and the best chiptune. One of the most emotional moments in videogames is when Vile kicks your ass, and then Zero's theme kicks in and he saves your ass. I still get chills thinking about it.
I love that synthwave bass on the background, a really nice touch!
