Recently purchased Worx mini chainsaw. Good no nonsense instruction video.
I had been considering reciprocating saw, but this probably has better control! Great vid! Ty
Brilliant video Mike, thank you for sharing the details on how to set it up, and the demonstration - man that is quite the little beast ... The bloopers 😂...that was one stubborn wood cookie lol - thanks for the video - so very helpful as the instructions are a tad lacking 🌸💗🧰🎄
Huge thanks Joy, i hope you thourgherly enjoy watching and finding out about the areas i covered in the video.
@@mikesptworld At 21:36 it seems to be quite impressive does the saw stopped often overload because if it did not overload the engine (stop the saw) it would be really very interesting because a lot of much more expensive battery chain saw stops with less load pressure than that
In he video it never stopped due to overload, but trying to keep the saw running without affecting the camera angle and just seeing my arm in the way is difficult and often leads to me operating tools at awkward angles and sometimes dangerous ones too, it's better sometimes to let go than continue the shot, I have never even had the old brushed one stall yet, though I say never - never say never I'm sure with a blunt blade it may stall out?
If you don't put any load on it or too much pressure on it then it will run even better :-D lol
Have you examined its internal components? What motor does it use? A teardown video would be quite fascinating. Do we need to grease the reductor? Thanks
Strange it’s nowhere to be found on the Worx uk website, but on the Screwfix website. Any idea on the difference between this (WG325) and the WG324 which Worx UK have for sale.
The wg325 has a built in oiler, is brushless, slightly lighter, more compact, faster chain speed, though the wg324 doesn't exactly lack power its more like a mk1 version the wg325 is a pure evolution that is ready to take on pretty much anything you can throw at it.
Yes, noticed that. Almost like Worx don’t want to sell any
@siblej1 it is a bit weird that it's not on there for sure :-D
Maybe they’re keen to get rid of the 324’s first
I have seen plenty of evolution of products in the past years that have run alongside both brushed and brushless incarnations drills, impact drivers, hydroshot now has 3 versions all available simultaneously, they have a both brushed and brushless mowers, same with 40cm / 16 inch chainsaws yet this seems to buck the trend?! Very weird.
Any idea of suppliers for replacement chains?
Are you uk based?
@@mikesptworld yes, Uk based. Can’t find any genuine Worx chains.
Fear not my friend www.mowspares.co.uk/genuine-worx-chainsaw-chain-worx-wg324e?language=en
Mow spares are official UK garden machinery spares dealers for worx tools, this includes chains and bars, mower blades, strimmer reels etc.
I See Alot Of Worx Tools & Accessories At Menards.
I need to go back to the US - its like my second home :-(
Will the WG324 9 foot extension pole fit the 325?
Yes it will fit as it is indicated in the instruction manual.
Do you know when this will be available in the Uk?
It's available right now at screwfix! :-)
@@mikesptworldit's always out of stock everywhere,&I think that's because they may have released a new model.
It is too expensive for a pure chineese brand. It is more expensive than Bosch and it is close to Makita and DeWalt. I will never got this before Makita or DeWalt.
Es alemana la marca
In fairness it is faster, lighter and less expensive and more powerful £ for £ by all means get a makita or dewalt even but it worx very very well for me and many others around the world.
