Welcome too one of Japans Premier Power Metal bands. Forget they are all Super Beautiful for a second and inhale the God Like Musicianship from Each member of this band. I've been too hundred's of concerts over 40 years and these girls are an Exception to the rule. Superb musicianship.

You get the band. Great reaction. They are the best heavy metal band today by far. Almost illegal collection of world class talent.
Your reactions to our favourite band are amongst the best I’ve seen. You understand the music they play, and understand exactly what they are doing. They are themselves fans of the genre they’ve made the basis for their journey. There is no weak link in this band. There is no attitude, there are no egos and they ENJOY what they are doing, which they are effortlessly able to transmit through their music to us the listeners. It’s power metal without chains, studs, leather or pouting. And a special thank you for giving Asami the respect she deserves. Like I said, they’re all good, but you wouldn’t believe the number of reactions I’ve seen where the person reacting just doesn’t (unlike you) “get it” with her vocal style. Thank you. I suggest you stick with Lovebites as long as you can. It’ll ease the pain of missing out on their back catalogue!

I didn't know about other reactors, but with my childhood surrounded by power metal I could only be amazed today by her voice matching so well this epic metal genre.
And I think I don't need to mention the massive musicianship from the rest of the band reminding me legends of the 80s.

Once you start listening and finding about Japanese Rock/Metal bands, there is a distinctive trend that you will realize. Almost every band has at least one genius in them. Band-Maid has Kanami, Lovebites has Miyako, Unlucky Morpheus has Shiren, Gacharic Spin has Hana, etc. Miyako is a classically trained, University educated, classical concert pianist with 26 years of piano under her. She writes more than 50% of their songs. In fact, she started on the guitar at age 18. Yeah, piano is her primary instrument. Check out "Swan Song." LIVE Zepp Divercity (same show as this song).
I see what you mean, feel like the souls of old legends were reborn in Japan somehow.
Regarding Band-Maid I would personally add Misa and Akane to the "genius level" list to be honest! ;)
I don't know about "genius", but most Japanese band members in every genre from jazz-fusion to rock to metal to punk have formal training. Many were in band in junior high and high school, many took piano lessons, and many went on to music academies. Also, most are multi-instrumentalists, including the drummers. Also they're like a big community: as fiercely as they compete for gigs at clubs and arenas (pre and post Covid), they all know each other (many played in amateur bands together before going in different directions professionally) and support each other.
They are GLORY and JOY incarnate to us metalheads. I've been listening to and buying everything they've done since their first song in 2017, as I was lucky enough to have the link sent to me and notified by my best friend who is a power metal worshipper like me, and who notified me of this new group back then. So I've been so lucky to have been here the whole time and enjoying the whole ride. They've made me cry with joy and headbang myself into a headache for 4 years now...lmao They are the true new metal godz.

The next suggest Nemophila Dissension as well and will be big three of Japanese rock/metal. Great.

Hey! They have a new mini-album coming in 5 days on March 10. And they have 3 live shows scheduled for 12, 13 and 26 March in Japan. Because of COVID they could be cancelled.
They released 2 new music videos last month "Winds of Transylvania" and "Glory to the World".

Si par contre tu cherches du plus "progressif", il faut se tourner vers Edge of the world et l'énomissime Swan song (Zepp Tokyo 2020)

Lovebites is the best heavy/power metal band to date. Band Maid is the best hard rock band to date. And both are from Japan. Japan is seriously reviving the rock music genre back. I hope the younger generation will slowly appreciate the talent and great musicianship of these bands. 🤟🤟🤟

Yes, Haruna is very good at enhancing the song of the singer and the guitar solos. You hear splashes and other special sounds that are totally synced with important parts to artists. She is not only keeping the beat.

Welcome to the world of Lovebites, we are called "The Wolfpack" and we all have been bitten more than once by this amazing band of beautiful ladies in white. Anyway, everyone is already steering you to the new releases but I say wait! You have to get a hold of the amazing talent they possess and they showcase this every time they do a prog-rock song, so I strongly suggest you check out their masterpiece and a classic song called "Edge of the World" once you have checked out this song then take a look anything you what and be blown away and have your face melted plus have your butt kicked around for fun. One thing you will realize is that they are not just a power metal band, they are diversified and very versatile in many styles of rock, they just don't play one style. All adapted by their studies of the greats of the '70s and '80s rock bands

The Japanese are amazing, aren't they?
Asami is so much better LIVE and is a real stage commander who interacts with the crowd through the entire show. Again the M & M show get the shine time but again the backbone here is Miho/bass and Haruna/drums that drive the band in each and every song. As we said they are FLAWLESS LIVE and are relentless in their pursuit of perfection. Anything from this 2020 concert or the 2019 Daughters of the Dawn concert has great audio and the band is amazing to watch. You will not find a single poor LIVE song from this band no matter how hard you try. They have taken the glory of 80's metal and raised it to a whole new level with their own special way of handling Power, Speed, Thrash, Rock, Ballads and even classical piano. Avoid anything from Bloodstock as they were switched to the main stage with 20 minutes notice and the sound engineers did a lousy job, not the band fault but the results are awful. Great reaction and if loved this there are so many more even better songs that await you.

Vocalist, Asami, who was originally an R&B singer, knows that her vocal style is not metallic. When she was first invited to the band as a vocalist, she sounded out the band members that she should change her vocal style to a metallic one. But the band members said you don't have to change it because it's more unique. However, it is true that some stubborn metal elites criticize her vocal style as not suitable for metal. By the way, Asami used to take classical ballet lessons between the ages of 2 and 14, so when she sings, her unique movements become natural.

Don't put "First Time", is 2nd time you react to Lovebites. Don't clickbait like other crapy channels.
I think it means first time to that specific song.
It may not be intentional in this particular case, but scuzzy reactors do that on purpose because they know viewers like to see people's first time hearing a band or a song or whatever. People actually search for "first reaction" or "first time hearing", and some reactors have figured this out, so they use it in the title, and yes it is very clickbaity.
"First time" mean for that song
