WOLFPACK here...Your scent has been found...Welcome to LOVEBITES and Great Reaction...You have just scratched the surface...There are more AWESOME Songs available...
Congratulations, you’ve just discovered the best metal band ever. I’m serious. There’s never been any band that tick every box. Technical proficiency, tick. Songwriting, tick. Composition and arrangement, tick. Vocal excellence, tick. Drumming stamina, proficiency and inventiveness, tick. Positive lyrical content, tick. Humble, approachable personalities, tick. Genuine appreciation of fans and fan base, tick. But the biggest tick is for consistency. They have produced 50 tracks, NONE of which are below par by any means of measurement, and they can perform them ALL to the standard you’ve just seen, live. Again and again and again. Great reaction.
Welcome to the Lovebites world guys! Best Metal band in this fuckin world actually, this girls are amazing! Many, many amazing videos from Lovebites to check in, let's go!
LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and for one forevermore What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war ----- lyrics: LOVEBITES music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Every song by this band is a guitar clinic and when these women harmonize while picking, sweeping and tapping at insane speeds in total sync you will understand what we mean by the best duo playing LIVE today!! All petite models who wear white dresses and high heels on stage to stand out and be seen easier, these women turn into Metal Goddesses. Band Maid is rock with some Metal and Punk influences, Lovebites is '80 metal blended with old world masters and elevated to a unique level by these insanely talented women. Asami/vocals at 4' 10" thunders over the glorious music behind her having never sang metal before joining this band. She is an ex-ballerina student and a former backup RnB/Jazz/Soul singer. The 4' 9" drummer Haruna is a pocket nuke this is her pace for an entire concert and she doesn't even break a sweat!! The guitars, Midori/Blond extrovert Flash/Shred Queen with the smile to light up the arena gave up piano and Pharmacy school at 20 to learn to play guitar. Miyako/Dark hair introvert (musical savant) is the Harmonics/Tones Melodic Queen who is a classical trained pianist (wait to you experience her on the keys) who picked up a guitar at 18 and taught herself to play. They blend together perfectly and are a perfect compliment to each other. There are so many great all female bands in Japan but BM (Rock) and Lovebites (Metal) are two of the very best with world class musicians. Some other Lovebites songs to blow you away: Swan Song with Chopin Etude piano intro LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html) Classical piano and metal done flawlessly as only Lovebites can. Scream for Me LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html) Rock done Lovebites style with a guitar battle that is really a war it lasts that long.
LOVEBITES defines themselves as lone wolves who challenge the stereotype that "metal is the music of the guys, dressed in dark clothes and singing decadent and aggressive songs." The white feminine stage outfits are their combat uniforms.
Congratulations on finding the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miho and Miyako have composed most of their music, in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer, but Midori has also been getting into the act. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. and aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and at this point they’ve taken it to another level. This is one of their usual first songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. They are generally best live. Here are some you should definitely check out: Their most recently posted live clip, “Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html. Other live songs to check out are "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html Miyako is also a professional-level classical concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude”. Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html; but if it is taken down, you can watch two clips back to back: ua-cam.com/video/hDBjiQI9cyc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/uEsEWISc8Q0/v-deo.html I promise, it’s worth it. For a thrasher with heavy Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ua-cam.com/video/G021aP2ao6Y/v-deo.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while it’s generally true their live clips are best, their MV’s are epic and worth seeing: "When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html "Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Lovebitten!! Minds blown - Lovebites strikes again. These ladies are PHENOMENAL!! This isn't even in their top 5 of best songs. They have a lot more where this came from. Yes she sings in English but with her Japanese accent, combined with the fast tempo makes it hard to hear all the words. But in the slower songs you can. However, Lovebites doesn't have many slow songs because they play 80s metal on high speed with faster guitar solos. Now do their heavy thrash song "Set the World on Fire!" live ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html
If a few years ago somebody had said rock and roll will be saved by a generation of tiny little Japanese women in frilly dresses you would have thought they'd lost their marbles. These are strange days we live in! lol
Welcome to the Wolfpack the world of Lovebites fans. When I first heard Lovebites I couldn't believe my ears. You have unearthed a diamond in the rough. You'll discover as you listen to each track that this band plays at a level higher than anything you've ever heard in the metal sphere. This is the conclusion I made after discovering their entire discography. They crush by their talent, their compositions, all the most famous bands that I listened to during my adolescence. Welcome to the paradise of heavy, power, thrash metal.
Love your reaction! Welcome to the world of Lovebites ❤️! Continue your journey, you will not be disappointed! They have no bad songs. All are great!🤘🐺
Welcome to the world of wolfpack. Lovebites is the best one metal band right now on the earth. All the musicians on this band is insane and world class talent. Not a gimmick or fake. They effortless. Like the Goddesses. That's great reaction by the way. Thank you so much. Next song from them, try they song from live concert again.. "Set the world on fire" or "Raise some hell" Once again thank for your great reaction to Lovebites.
'SET THE WORLD ON FIRE'...in case you guys want to badass' stuff by these ladies...guarantee your jaws gonna drop they really really fukin' killin it !!! these ladies are beast \m/
For songs where Miyako plays the piano, Swan Song with Chopin's Etude, and Empty Daydream (a slower song, more like rock rather than metal), for a song with lots of guitar duals - Scream for Me, andSet the World on Fire and Winds of Transylvania for more speed thrash metal. But so many more good songs. Keep digging.
from Japan. Thank you for listening to LOVEBITES. First, the origin of their band name. The band name "LOVEBITES" is derived from the song "Love Bites (So Do Eye)" of the American hard rock band "Halestorm". How the band was formed. On July 18, 2015, when DESTROSE went into hiatus, miho (Ba), who was in charge of the bass at DESTROSE, invited haruna (Dr), who had previously left DESTROSE, to start forming a new band. The two listened to the song of asami (Vo) sung on the demo tape of a professional composer, contacted them, and asami joined as the third member. On June 15, 2016, the name of the new band of miho and haruna was announced as "LOVEBITES" and the official website was opened. On June 29th, it was announced that midori (Gt) would join and support guitarist mi-ya (miyako) would join. "Miyako" stands on the right side of the stage, And "midori" stands on the left side. The latest information. Miho, the leader and bassist of this band Announced withdrawal from the band on 08.17.2021. Currently the band is temporarily suspended. Her withdrawal is said to be a fatal injury to the band's dissolution, Most expectation is that if they can welcome a new bassist Their activities are expected to resume. And you should check this site. ua-cam.com/channels/90wxogt_sQrP0Os0HT-xuw.htmlvideos
A great first reaction to Lovebites! This is just a small sample of their world class repertoire. I recommend "Set the World on Fire" next, and keep that fire extinguisher handy 😀
Absolutely my favorite band, was Iron Maiden but these ladies took the torch and are running with it!! We fans are The Wolfpack! Watch Thunder Vengeance live and you will see the 5 wolf heads and that is were we get our name. This is a rare band when you find 5 musicians whose talent is among the best and compliment each other so perfectly. Thank you for reacting to this video. You have just scratched the surface, Japan is keeping Hard Rock/Metal alive! Another great Japanese band to check out is Nemophila, try Raitei or Dissension.
Hello! Thank you for the video! Please pay attention to the young singer Diana Ankudinova.Make reactions to the songs of Wicked game, Human🌞🌞🌞DIANA ANKUDINOVA is a talented young singer. I would like to know your opinion. I think you will be surprised. Diana has a very unusual voice and artistic presentation for her age.🌹🌹🌹 Thanks in advance
"we are the metal warriors, fighting the darkness for brothers" 🤘 good job at your first reaction of LOVEBITES, you haven't seen anything yet 😂 if you guys really enjoyed and wanna dig'em for more, i suggest you to check their new live video called Set The World On Fire and you'll get double blown from this🤘
That's why japan are bringing back the metal era again through these talented ladies! I feels good just by watching your impression, guys!🤘🏻 Thank you for reacting to this amazing band! Hope you have a great day, fam!✌🏻 #wolfpack
So glad you guys decided to give Lovebites a try. Next try their newest video drop - Set the World on Fire live in 2021. It is thrash power metal on steroid! Asami's vocal for quite many are not easy to understand because of her accent, and in one interview Asami said the band is going for the overall how their music sound instead of not necessary the clear pronunciation of each word. There's much more in their repertoire to explore. Have fun on your Lovebites journey!
Their latest live video song Set The World On Fire, and another live Zepp Tokyo 2020 songs Raise Some Hell, The Hammer Of Wrath, MV2021 Glory To The World, Wind Of Transylvania..(all songs with crazy solo's) Guys, its time to look for all Japanese female J-METAL/ROCK Band NEMOPHILA - songs Dissension, Raitei(Thunder) HANABIE - song We Love Sweets(Japanese Jinjer) TRIDENT-JAPAN - songs Voltage, No Regret ASTERISM - songs Gunfire, Church, Dawn, Rising Moon
Band Maid and Lovebites are both great bands, I like more of Lovebites because I'm a metal guy and they brings the old school adding a fresh new air on it.
Wolfpack here! Asami does sing in English, but due to her accent and vibrato, she can be hard to understand at first. You get used to it, though! By the way, since you brought up the topic of music in movies, Band-Maid appear in the new movie Kate! The trifecta of A-list Japanese female hard rock and metal bands are Lovebites, Band-Maid, and Nemophila! Since you've found two of them, you should definitely give Nemophila a look!
@@muto4055 The original EP version of "Bravehearted" is in Japanese, though they redid it in English for the first full-length cd. Not sure if they have done it live in Japanese, but you can get the audio version on that first EP.
Lovebites incorporate dual solos, and unity/Harmony solos in almost all of their songs, Midori (Blonde Hair) shows some of her speed here, but she can play significantly faster than this. Miyako (Black Hair) She is Melodic, she is like Blues meet Metal, her solos have feeling, emotion, she is also a world-class classical pianist. Check out "Set the World on Fire" and you will see how fast they can play, Great reaction guys and welcome to the Wolfpack! "Set the World on Fire" ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html&ab_channel=LOVEBITES
Yeah guys they've got that effect when you see them for first time. They are the best power metal band in the world right now. Lovebites are formed in 2016th from ex Destrose band members Miho the bassist and Haruna the drummer in Tokyo. The other members are Asami the vocalist and songwriter, Midori the lead guitarist with the blonde hair Miyako the other lead guitarist, pianist and composer with the black hair. Lovebites are winners of Metal Hammer Golden gods awards for 2018 year in category best new metal band. They are influenced by 80s metal. Inspiration bands are Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halloween, Metallica and Slayer. They like to touring in Europe. 2019 they touring together in UK with Dragon force. You want more fire check the song Set the world on fire from their last concert Ride for vengeance from March 2021. I'm already curious to see your reaction. You really have no idea what you gonna see. And you just open the pandora box. Enjoy it.
If you want to hear the piano, check out Swan Song with Chopin piano Etude intro. These ladies are all masters of their instruments and all of them contribute to writing their music. Bandmaid also has fabulous songs. Check out Rinne from Bandmaid. It is a kickass metal tune.
The Metal Goddesses are Awesome ❤ Gentlemen, that was a small taste of their brilliance. M & M, Midori & Miyako, are my favorite guitar duo, the Wolfpack will tell you, " one of the best " !! Pick any song, they're amazing 😎🥁🎸🎹👌
I am happy that I found your first reaction to the amazing band, Lovebites. Unfortunately Miho, the founding member of the band. is leaving. After her previous band fell apart, Miho wanted two things for her new band - 1) it would be heavily influenced by the NWOBHM (she is an Iron Maiden fanatic) and 2) all the songs would be in English. All of the three instrumentalists she recruited had been in previous bands and all, as you discovered, are next level talented. Asami, the vocalist, was added because she is fluent in English, having spent some time in the United State, and was experienced in singing in English. Asami has written the lyrics for the majority of the songs. The catalog of Lovebites is close to 50 songs and Miyako, the guitarist on stage left, has written almost half of them. Holy War, however, is one of only a handful of songs not written by a member of the band. As others have suggested, your next listen should be the newly released video for Set The World On Fire, written by Miyako. Another choice is Thunder Vengeance. my favorite of the songs written by Miho. IF you want to check out another all female Japanese band, I recommend Nemophila. The band is recently formed and, like Lovebites, are all very experienced musicians. Although they are primarily a metal band, they are basically into playing all styles. If you are an Iron Maiden fan, I would start with their cover of Aces High. Good way to see their musicianship and personalities. If you like them, you can move on to their heavier stuff. Plenty of covers and original music to choose from on their UA-cam page. Their very recent live videos are especially good. Enjoy!
It's honestly a little unfair that Midori and Miyako are both allowed to play lead guitar in the same band lol. If you want to hear Asami's voice really shine, check out the live version of Edge of the World from this same concert. It will blow you away.
Lovebites is great. Discovered them after discovering Band Maid. You should check out the live video of their song "Thunder Vengeance" from this concert. It's the first song of the show and it's one hell of a way to start a concert. The breakdown is killer. Check out another Japanese rock band called Aldious. They are a great live band. I think they have been through a few lead singers but all of them have been great. Here is a link to a live version of their song "Go Away": ua-cam.com/video/WcRTLC_D3r8/v-deo.html
I'm glad you guys finally had the introduction to LoveBites, they are my favourite after BandMaid. I agree with you, it feels like Rock/Metal in the US is pretty much dead. There is just no push for new music in that genre. I'm so happy to see at least the music is still going strong else where in the world. OMG, the skills with all these J Metal/Rock bands are totally at another level. Our bands in North America need a lot of catching up.
Very enjoyable seeing you two experience LOVEBITES for the first time! Vocalist is Asami, Bassist is Miho, Guitarist on left is Midori and Guitarist/Pianist on right is Miyako and Drummer is "little BIG ENGINE" Haruna (4'9") who keeps those double-pedals going like this for full two hours shows! I wonder what you'll think of "Set the World on Fire"? ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html or, for something a bit 'lighter mood' but equally intense (embedded lyrics), "Rising": ua-cam.com/video/5LT-WhFGsPE/v-deo.html that is THE perfect song to pick up your spirits! Welcome to Wolf-Pack!
The brunette guitarist is the one who shreds the piano, and is a concert level pianist playing Chopin in one of their songs, which will be recommended to you at some point. If you love guitar solo battles then Lovebites is the number one band for guitar solos of all time. Seriously, they do crazy solos in every single one of their 50 songs. Check out Scream for Me for their most epic guitar battle.
Lovebites is my favorite modern rock band regardless of classification. Every single one is incredibly talented. If you want to see something special search for >>>>> NINGEN ISU / Heartless Scat (These old Japanese men will blow your mind). You may even get angry you have never heard of them. These guys know how to jam. :)
Ok my friends, when you says 2112 i knew i was at home. Enjoy this Majestic Band Bros, 'Bravehearted' and 'Edge of the world' immediatly. (live obvious)
Great reaction, welcome to the Wolfpack. Band-Maid is more or less hard rock, Lovebites is METAL. These ladies trade blistering leads and dual leads all of the time. I suggest that you check out "Break The Wall" and "Raise Some Hell" from that same concert at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo 2019.Oh and you need to see their latest LIVE song from 2021 "Set The World On Fire". Also check out some of their music videos like "Glory To The World" and "Winds Of Transylvania".

As a big fan of both bands i feel i have to defend my girl Saiki! (Band Maid's singer) It's not really fair to compare them since they are such different singers. Both of them are awesome singers, but completely different in styles. As is the music too, Lovebites is straight up Metal while Band Maid is Rock/Hardrock. they do share a couple things, both are amazing bands and the drummers from both bands are friends! 😀 As far as Metal goes, Lovebites are on top of the game in my opinion, and even the best metal bands of the past don't stand a chance against these girls, this band can play anything they want and they ace it! (again, just my opinion, everyone has their own). If you want more heavy fast stuff try their latest song "Set the World on Fire" Live. If you wanna hear that piano in action then try their song "Swan Song" - ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html Awesome reaction guys thanks! 🤘🙂🐺🔥
Enjoyed both of your reaction much. Don't you think Lovebites deserve to tour with big bands likes Metallica. Iron Maiden. Megadeatth? If you wanna learn roots of J-Metal Please check out Japanese Heavy Metal fore father LOUDNESS. Loudness to sings in English and LOUDNESS were first Metal Band sign by major label in USA. Songs Crazy Nights. Heavy Chain. Soldier of fortune (with American singer)
It is not a rash statement to say there will not be a Lovebites song, you will dislike. To see the lady's run around and move more on stage have a look at Raise Some Hell: ua-cam.com/video/YmEN_Fu1Bjw/v-deo.html
There are no bad Lovebites songs. None. Zipp. Nada. Just stay away from any of their performances from the Bloodstock concert. They didn't bring their own sound engineers to Europe for that one and whoever the sound engineers were, they really fucked it up. But if you want to see a guitar shred-off duel like you've never seen before, this one in Holy War was nothing, then react to their performance of Scream for Me. Here, we'll even be helpful and give you the proper link. ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html
Guys, do not compare Bandmaid and Lovebites, Bandmaid is Hardrock and Lovebites is Heavy Metal and they are good with their music and their own style, both singer are good with their genre...I bet when you react to another all female Japanese Metal Band you will still compare the band and the singer with another....plz dont.... :)
A lot of us in the US thought there is no more great music. Then, at the beginning of the pandemic, I started listening to bands on UA-cam, and have found a ton of amazing bands from Japan and Europe. You've found a few already... Band-Maid and Lovebites. Other bands you need to listen to are Babymetal (Japan), Nightwish (Finland), Epica (Holland), Unleash the Archers (Canada), Amaranthe (Sweden), and Jinjer (Ukraine), just to name my favorites. I barely listen to American music these days with all this great rock. I'm sure you will get to many of these.
Welcome to The Wolfpack, guys. I came because of the Lovebites reaction and have checked out some of your other vids. Great idea to have a father/son reaction channel. It amazes me how you have to go to Europe or Japan to get good rock anymore. I haven’t seen any on your channel, but if you haven’t done Nightwish (symphonic metal from Finland), I recommend them. Storytime, Ghost Love Score (2012 Wacken performanace), and Phantom of the Opera (End of an era performance). Cheers.
This is only the beginning, the tip of the iceberg, and you haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully, you will continue down this path of the Lovebites arsenal of 50+ songs so far. You want to hear a real guitar battle between these two amazing ladies check out "Scream for Me" ua-cam.com/video/BZQxCCTc5eA/v-deo.html this a studio live version of the ladies up close and personal
Hi from uk 🇬🇧 Thank you very much for reacting to Japanese music😊 You need to see “unlucky Morpheus” This is another Japanese great metal band with skills 🔥🔥🔥 1. Two more Japanese metal bands at the very top from fans of J-Metal/J-Rock lists to react to with unique sounds of their own and lead singers with even more unique vocals. These two will impress you out of many incredible Japanese bands. The rabbit hole is deep. Unlucky Morpheus - 'Dignity of Spirit' live Nemophila - 'Dissension'
By far the most talented metal band grew up on old school before there was Heavy Metal BOC to Zeppelin. A lot of band use a piano/keyboard Lovebites takes it to a higher level.
🐺 🎸 🐺 🥁 🐺 🤘 🐺 Y’all are so fun to watch the first time you hear Lovebites. Now you get to see if you can find a song you don’t like- which since you seem to enjoy Rush, you’re not going to. These girls are excellent musicians and song writers, and their lyrics are impressive too. I especially like the lyrically uplifting songs like “Rising”, “Edge of the World”, “Signs of Deliverance”, “Don’t Bite the Dust”, “Inspire”, “Burden of Time”, and “Break the Wall”. I’m super impressed with the lyrical quality of this band, it’s well worth reading along during the song reaction- for sure! Now if you really want to do something different than other reactors, try listening to some songs that few if any have done and posting or reading lyrics while the song plays for songs that there aren’t live versions to react to. One that gets little attention online but has extremely thought provoking lyrics is “Mastermind 01”. Listening to that song makes me wonder if Asami has been checking out Jerry Marzinsky’s book or interviews- although it could just be Facebook she’s talking about if you think M.Z. Is a god of time.
Why is this not on every rock station in America? Amen, brother. It's only a thin slice of rock fans that have figured out that Japan is where much of the very best rock and metal are coming from. They may well be better known overseas than in their own Japan, but they have gotten the Japanese musician's brass ring at least once: Anime intro or outro's Check out the Vladlove video They keep getting better and better in their short 5 year career-the whole concert blu-ray this vid is from kicks a$$ - and now there's a 2021 live blu-ray - they're even better! Sadly, as they've been skyrocketing to the top of J-rock fans' lists, their co-founder, Miho, has left the band and they're on hiatus while (I guess) they figure out who's going to replace this amazing bassist.
Welcome to my favorite Heavy Metal band. Everyone who likes metal should know who they are. I am always posting their videos on FB and telling people about them but people dismiss them because of being female and they way they dress. Their loss. I guess if they wore leather, had tats and dressed like they gargled with battery acid they would be more popular. It is frustrating.
There are hundreds of kick-ass Japanese rock, metal and punk bands, many of them all female. Keep going and we'll give you a lot of suggestions. The J-rock fanbase are dedicated!
This was a really good reaction. I agree that people should focus less on the greats of the past and move on. There is so much of fantastic contemporary music out there. And that includes some American bands. Check out Vintersea. I like them a lot. As for another crazy Japanese band go with Galneryus. One of the best power metal bands of all time and made up of men for a change haha. Also Shang-Chi is mostly inspired by Chinese culture, so Japanese music wouldn't really fit, to be pedantic. Not that I would mind some exposure for these great bands though. And I agree that Band-Maid are good, but Lovebites are even better. ;)
If you want another example of great Japanese rock music with another great voice then listen to UNLUCKY MORPHEUS with "BLACK PENTAGRAM" or "a crowd of rebellion" with 無罪 者 - Innocent, I'm sure at the end of the song you will feel tired for how intense the songs are.
Other Japanese metal bands to check out are Fate Gear, Mary's Blood, Destrose, and Disqualia. My biggest recommendation of those would be Fate Gear ("Headless Goddess" for the song). If you're looking for some good, new bands from outside of Japan, there's the Ukranian band Jinjer and the multiple-countries band Beast in Black.
Great reaction! Another all female Japanese band that kicks a$$?......try Nemophila. My favorite of theirs is "Oiran". There are two versions: One shot in their rehearsal space a couple of years ago, and a stage version they dropped fairly recently. Take your pick (or perhaps both for comparison?). Both are great. Guaranteed they won't disappoint you!
More? Mary's Blood...Marionette Aldious...We Are Doll$boxx...Take My Chance Nemophila... Dissension Hanabie...We Love Sweets Bridear...Bloody Bride Gacharic Spin...Hunting Summer SHOW-YA...Lovers Other bands (female n male): Unlucky Morpheus Wagakki Band
Rock is far from deadd, not all the great music is in the past. To hear what's been happening in progressive music since Rush, check out Tosin Abasi or his band Animals as Leaders.
If you want shred offs I highly recommend LOVEBITES song “Scream for me” live ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html it’s from 2019 but it’s still all the same ladies and it’s a killer song
What else is there in japan? -Nemophila, also all female band, really good, but not my style. -Unlucky Morpheus, mixed band, my 2nd favorite after lovebites.
Haha. That's not a guitar battle, just a little friendly competition. You wanna see these ladies battle it out, check out their live performance of "Scream for Me" ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html

LOVEBITES IS ANOTHER LEVEL.

Wolfpack united for LOVEBITES! This is US! CARRY ON! \m/

Tight as hell musicianship! All talented! This is Future Metal !
Welcome to the Lovebites world guys! Best Metal band in this fuckin world actually, this girls are amazing! Many, many amazing videos from Lovebites to check in, let's go!
LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

lyrics: LOVEBITES
music: Mao
arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Some other Lovebites songs to blow you away:
Swan Song with Chopin Etude piano intro LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html) Classical piano and metal done flawlessly as only Lovebites can.
Wolfpack welcome you to the best metal band on the face of the planet today.
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
Here are some you should definitely check out:
Their most recently posted live clip, “Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html.
Other live songs to check out are "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html
Miyako is also a professional-level classical concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
Finally, while it’s generally true their live clips are best, their MV’s are epic and worth seeing:
"When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html
"Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html
"Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html.

All the musicians on this band is insane and world class talent.
Not a gimmick or fake. They effortless. Like the Goddesses.
That's great reaction by the way.
Thank you so much.

'SET THE WORLD ON FIRE'...in case you guys want to badass' stuff by these ladies...guarantee your jaws gonna drop
they really really fukin' killin it !!! these ladies are beast \m/
On July 18, 2015, when DESTROSE went into hiatus, miho (Ba), who was in charge of the bass at DESTROSE, invited haruna (Dr),
who had previously left DESTROSE, to start forming a new band.
"Miyako" stands on the right side of the stage,
And "midori" stands on the left side.
The latest information.
Miho, the leader and bassist of this band
Announced withdrawal from the band on 08.17.2021.
Currently the band is temporarily suspended.
Her withdrawal is said to be a fatal injury to the band's dissolution,
Most expectation is that if they can welcome a new bassist Their activities are expected to resume.
And you should check this site.

Their latest live video song Set The World On Fire, and another live Zepp Tokyo 2020 songs Raise Some Hell, The Hammer Of Wrath, MV2021 Glory To The World, Wind Of Transylvania..(all songs with crazy solo's)
Guys, its time to look for all Japanese female J-METAL/ROCK Band
NEMOPHILA - songs Dissension, Raitei(Thunder)
HANABIE - song We Love Sweets(Japanese Jinjer)
TRIDENT-JAPAN - songs Voltage, No Regret
ASTERISM - songs Gunfire, Church, Dawn, Rising Moon
Band Maid and Lovebites are both great bands, I like more of Lovebites because I'm a metal guy and they brings the old school adding a fresh new air on it.
Welcome to the ride called Lovebites!
I second this. Dissention or Monsters by Nemophila. But, Lovebites is in a league of their own.
But are they ready for NEMOPHILA?
I would love to hear LOVEBITES singing in Japanese :)
Next react to "Set The World On Fire " i am sure both of you will go crazy beautiful solo. 🤘👍
Next Reaction 'Set The World On Fire' you guys will be crazy LOL
I recommend Edge of the World, piano, vocal range, heart crushing solo, progressive sound ... Its all there.
I wonder what you'll think of "Set the World on Fire"?
ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html or, for something a bit 'lighter mood' but equally intense (embedded lyrics),
"Rising": ua-cam.com/video/5LT-WhFGsPE/v-deo.html that is THE perfect song to pick up your spirits! Welcome to Wolf-Pack!
My favorite top three female band is BAND-MAID, LOVBITES and NEMOPHILA. more of course like Gacharic Spin etc.
Yes, Nemophila is breaking new ground right now. The next band to make a big splash 🔥💯🇺🇲
Better than Band Maid , I think it's time for "Blooming" 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂
Lovebites the team of five thrashpower metal godesses.
"We're not here to be cute, we're here to be heavy"
Asami🎤 R&B, jazz, soul, metal, rock singer, lyrics, (only English all songs one is exeption in Japanesse language) she trained ballet.
Haruna 🥁one of the best drummer worldwide, founder, (PEARL drums)
Miho🎸 ex_bass guitar player and boss of the band, lyrics, founder, back singer, (ESP_JAZZ guitar) now Ladies search new bassist
Midori🎸 lead, rythm guitar, spanish guitar, back singer, (ESP guitar)
Miyako🎸 lead, rythm guitar, spanish guitar, piano, keybord, back singer, main composer but all Ladies compose. (DEAN guitar, GIBSON guitar) classic influences, piano virtuoso

Stay safe. Stay Lovebites.
LOVEBITES has about 50 songs, just like this or better...you have no idea of what's behind the door you just opened. Enjoy!
TRUTH!
They dont have a bad song!
Up the wolves!
As far as Metal goes, Lovebites are on top of the game in my opinion, and even the best metal bands of the past don't stand a chance against these girls, this band can play anything they want and they ace it! (again, just my opinion, everyone has their own).
If you want more heavy fast stuff try their latest song "Set the World on Fire" Live. If you wanna hear that piano in action then try their song "Swan Song" - ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html
Awesome reaction guys thanks! 🤘🙂🐺🔥
Enjoyed both of your reaction much.
Don't you think Lovebites deserve to tour with big bands likes Metallica. Iron Maiden. Megadeatth?
If you wanna learn roots of J-Metal
Please check out Japanese Heavy Metal fore father LOUDNESS. Loudness to sings in English and LOUDNESS were first Metal Band sign by major label in USA.
Songs Crazy Nights. Heavy Chain. Soldier of fortune (with American singer)
you can react to "set the world on fire" the last video came out
It is not a rash statement to say there will not be a Lovebites song, you will dislike. To see the lady's run around and move more on stage have a look at Raise Some Hell: ua-cam.com/video/YmEN_Fu1Bjw/v-deo.html
I don't know what is up with all the female bands now days, but you should also check out the sisters from Mexico called The Warning. 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂

🤘🐺🤘 Right, just stay away from Bloodstock 🤘🐺🤘
Guys, do not compare Bandmaid and Lovebites, Bandmaid is Hardrock and Lovebites is Heavy Metal and they are good with their music and their own style, both singer are good with their genre...I bet when you react to another all female Japanese Metal Band you will still compare the band and the singer with another....plz dont.... :)
Awesome first reaction guys. Looking forward to the next mind blowing Lovebites' you react to 🤘 and shout out to @andy helms 🐺
🤘😁🤘
Cheers.
LOL.. You ain't seen nothing yet!
You have hit the rabbit hole! And there are MANY female bands in Japan
Hi from uk 🇬🇧 Thank you very much for reacting to Japanese music😊
You need to see “unlucky Morpheus” This is another Japanese great metal band with skills 🔥🔥🔥
1. Angreifer ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/v-deo.html
2. UnEnding Sorceress ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/PCv3s0T4bx0/v-deo.html
3. Black pentagram ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/V8i_QhOgsKw/v-deo.html
4. Yngwie Malmsteen - Far Beyond The Sun( violin cover)
➡️ua-cam.com/video/E2hZDzJp9Pc/v-deo.html
Excellent choice, Lovebites and Unlucky Morpheus are the best Japanese metal bands out there, Fuki being my favourite female vocalist
Two more Japanese metal bands at the very top from fans of J-Metal/J-Rock lists to react to with unique sounds of their own and lead singers with even more unique vocals. These two will impress you out of many incredible Japanese bands. The rabbit hole is deep.
Unlucky Morpheus - 'Dignity of Spirit' live
Nemophila - 'Dissension'
If you want something more, another level react please to: Chopin etude+Swan song - Edge of the World - Empty daydream.
By far the most talented metal band grew up on old school before there was Heavy Metal BOC to Zeppelin. A lot of band use a piano/keyboard Lovebites takes it to a higher level.
🐺 🎸 🐺 🥁 🐺 🤘 🐺
Y’all are so fun to watch the first time you hear Lovebites.
Ok my metal lovin' brothers, u have to check out
NEMOPHILA
ALDIOUS
BRIDEAR
My fav band, harmonic guitar
Why is this not on every rock station in America? Amen, brother. It's only a thin slice of rock fans that have figured out that Japan is where much of the very best rock and metal are coming from.
They may well be better known overseas than in their own Japan, but they have gotten the Japanese musician's brass ring at least once: Anime intro or outro's
Check out the Vladlove video
They keep getting better and better in their short 5 year career-the whole concert blu-ray this vid is from kicks a$$ - and now there's a 2021 live blu-ray - they're even better!
Sadly, as they've been skyrocketing to the top of J-rock fans' lists, their co-founder, Miho, has left the band and they're on hiatus while (I guess) they figure out who's going to replace this amazing bassist.
European Wolfpack approved.
And I agree that Band-Maid are good, but Lovebites are even better. ;)
possible that this band occupies you a little longer from now on;)
rock hardrock metal got deported back in the early 2000s and it moved to Japan.
Oh! And stay away from footage from Bloodstock! Poor sound/mixing, does not do justice to these Goddesses performances!🤘
P.S. A recommendation: When you pause a video, rewind it 10s before play it again.
Another Japanese power band is Galneryus, with Syu as one of the best guitar players.
You aint see nothing yet!
More?
Mary's Blood...Marionette
Aldious...We Are
Doll$boxx...Take My Chance
Nemophila... Dissension
Hanabie...We Love Sweets
Bridear...Bloody Bride
Gacharic Spin...Hunting Summer
SHOW-YA...Lovers
Other bands (female n male):
Unlucky Morpheus
Wagakki Band
GJ on Lovebites. You should check out NEMOPHILA "Dissension" music video.
🔥💯✌️&❤️🇺🇲
React to Tech N9ne - he’s a mental giant
Song is so 🔥
Rock is far from deadd, not all the great music is in the past. To hear what's been happening in progressive music since Rush, check out Tosin Abasi or his band Animals as Leaders.
Watch "Kate" on Netflix. There's a scene there in a rock club where Band Maid plays.
I agree about Nemophila. They are certainly talented, but they still have a long way to go.
Haha. That's not a guitar battle, just a little friendly competition. You wanna see these ladies battle it out, check out their live performance of "Scream for Me" ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html
Please, no break during a guitar solo !!!!
