Vanilla Marius was more articulate with his bodylanguage. Grunting diablo is actually less scary than the silent one in vanilla. New one gives off an impression of doom pinky. Other than that, its a nice reboot.
No, Mephisto didn't turn Diablo into a giant monster. It's just Diablo shedding the Dark Wanderer's body as the mortal disguise was no longer needed because he's returning to Hell.
It would be cool if Marius could be found in hell in D4 expansion packs. Maybe not reveal him entirely but hint at who he could be. For example if you come across a river where someone that looks like him or a deformed version of him is found. idk if that would break the tone of tragedy of Marius but it'd be cool if you could save him or redeem him. If Izual in d2 could be saved Marius just deserves peace and could be saved too. Poor guy
@@jesseroberts1041 he was delirious from a lack of food and water and probably on magical life support from Diablo. Mephisto doesn’t have the power to give another Prime Evil a physical form, no Prime Evil has that power. At this point, The Wanderer loses all of his humanity and Mephisto is welcoming Diablo into the world as his true self. No one was changed, they simply become who they always were. It concludes the journey taken in Diablo 1. No one can withstand the corruption of a Prime Evil. The imprisonment of Tal’Rasha proved this. I’m a grown ahh man and I’ve played plenty or horror games and movies, but for some reason the first time I saw Mephisto I got scared. Idk maybe I didn’t expect him to be a floating meat demon.😅
I don’t understand why just once, just once a remake could leave audibles alone. Kept same as original and subbed over new graphics. JUST ONE 1!! Do companies not understand how impactful nostalgia is? Maybe though later we’d complain about the graphics not being what we envisioned 🤣

Back when Diablo was scary and feared boss, even in the cutscenes. Now in D3, its just not scary at all whatsoever. And in Diablo 4.... well he's not in there yet.
Wow! Just noticed that they fixed a BSS plot hole in Terror's End cinematic. In Diablo 2 you could clearly see that Diablo's soul goes back to Soulstone, which generated a huge question how did his should got in BSS in Diablo 3. Not his should just vanishes. Brilliant!
Unfortunately the remake of this cutscene is worse than the original. The script is there and resolution is amazing but the changed voiceover, softer music and lack of camera shaking makes it less terrifying imo
Question. If the plan is for Ba'al to corrupt the world stone. Does that mean that Diablo is a distraction for the heroes. And does he know that he's a distraction?
Seeing how in Diablo 3 it was revealed that he had Adria marking the Evils souls so that when the time was right he could become the Prime Evil he possibly suspected it if not known. There is no way Diablo would not think that a larger group of heroes then the three that beat him in his realm in the first game could not beat him.Especially since he also knows how deceptive Mephisto is due to masterminding the Dark Exile and other such genius feats.
@@Ryanheintz665 Diablo had it look because host was a woman? And Diablo had different muscular look in D2 because of the same reason? Where did you get that?

He does not decide to, it is simply the moment the last remnants of humanity of the Hero of Diablo 1 are gone for good.
