I come from a family of musicians, so as a kid, I knew a bit about the Bee Gees, but just recently really saw them & am absolutely in love with this group. Some great news is that it looks like there is going to be a biopic film made of the Bee Gees, directed by Ridley Scott with Barry Gibb, the lead singer in Too Much Heaven, as one of the producers!
The Bee Gees at their best. Just a beautiful song and perfect performance! No one else can kill it like they did! Breathtaking and exceptional talent. I was 18 when this song was released. The 70s were the best! ❤

The disco's are really were you danced of coarse, but it was also a place for boy to meet girl, We had no phones or internet or anything like that back then we only had 4 TV channels, The bee gees music, was the chance to ask the girl you had your eye on, the slow dance fi she yes you were half way there, we used to bribe the DJ to put slow dances on like the bee gees so we could ask the girl to dance, The last dance of the night was always a slow one, if you got that last dance, (second dance) a realtionship may blossom, after the last dance you walked her home. you hoped you would see her next week, and if all was good, boyfriend and girlfiend started, i still remember my first crush, Sarah Arthur, together 6 months, i was only 13 and 14, in 1982 disco was coming to an end, but some places had disco night, we had disco night on the ice rink, every friday night, like the disco's the love songs were a chance to aske to skate together hand in hand, i met my wife at the disco at the ice rink in 1982, we went on to get married and had 3 lovely girls

This song is a beautiful …and a tearjerker ….but as I listen to it, I remember those I’ve lost in my own life and reflect on those precious memories.
