    3:10 mine came with the two years of mackook 13" use, I never had the problem before. I was able to see things 6" from my face... but now things are the most clear at laptop distance 15 inches and beyond. So you can get this from computer use.

    So for me my confusion here is does using a computer constitute close up vision? How far is the furthest away before it's ok to use your distance glasses? I'm trying to figure out if it's ok to use my distance glasses with my computer use, or if that's close up vision that I should not be wearing them.

    That's very useful and makes total sense: to reverse presbyopia one must challenge seeing closer and closer, opposite from myopia. Thanks, Jake!

    Hi, Jake!
    Just wanted to stop and say hello, I just started my journey with reduced prescribtion glasses. I went from no glasses to -4.75 D 😔 (though the optometrist recommended -5.5D). IT IS VERY DIFFICULT!!! But I will keep on working on it. Thank you for at least giving the opportunity to try, naturally. ☺

    Funny I came to this video. Wanted to post a comment about near up vision after getting close up glasses. I am very slowly going though reducing glasses only for close up. I have been nervous to to try distance vision reduction glasses as my distance vision varies wildly. I am measuring it now trying to find a good reduced prescription. Long story short. I am close to getting third set of close up reduced glasses. My vision working at my desk has dramatically improved. However it is SUPER hard now to read with any glasses on. When I take the glasses off reading is very comfortable and clear. Just an observation made I'm this process that I had not thought of. Prior to this I got eye strain and eye headaches but haven't had one since I found your materials and started reducing my near up prescription.

    How close is a normal (ie non presbyopic) able to see clearly (focused) in cm/in from their eyes? How close to your nose can a " normal sighted" person be able to see in say Arial 12pt text? at +0.25 I see 10in or 26cm. Anyone?

    After having headaches at 30 of the doctor told me I am farsighted and started putting me on glasses. The problem is every 3 to 6 months I need to increase my glasses number . If I do not, I start getting headaches and now pain radiating to my eye and ear. I’m doing my best to not require glasses or lower the number I would love some advice.

    @endmyopia: I had light presbyopia, optometrist prescribed me +0.5 glasses 7 years ago. I didnt ware those glasses for seven years at all, challanged myself with bigger font size etc. Now my presbyopia proceeded to slightly advanced stage, and after recent measurement session, she prescribed me +1.5 glasses. If I try the 0.5 glasses this is already too blurry for me, the 1.5 is OK. So now it seems that I should start to wear the 1.5. What would you advise? Thank you!

    • @endmyopia
      @endmyopia  Рік тому +2

      Wear only what you need, when you need it. Presbyopia is a real thing for sure. Keep challenging your eyes to minimize effects.

      Wear the lowest possible plus you really need, and only when you really need it. Also good natural ambient light, usually better close-up vision.
