I love in a small-ish town in Denmark, I don’t feel like I have a community. I’ve struggled with both mental and physical health for a lot of years, and still do. It’s hard because I know most of the people my age around here, and it’s really tough to watch them all do school, work, friends and living normal lives, while I’m struggling so much and I’m not doing any of those things. It’s lonely, and it’s hard to make friends as an adult when you’re not in school or work! I hope to someday get to move somewhere I can meet new people and try to start over❤️
You and me both, sending you hugs ! I live in a very small hameau of less than 12 people and been suffering for ages due to the lack of not being able to have a social life. Taz is so comforting even behind a screen, she makes us feel less alone even if she's in the big city ay ! x
Also dont forget that there is no such thing as '' normal/cy '', everyone as their own path, and they want us to fit in in their tiny shocking box but we are more than that. We are incredibly capable and adaptable multidimensional human beings who are not here for mundane stuff but to be elevated and spread Love and Kindness on this earth 💙💙

I definitely feel like your life situation plays a big role, because when i still lived at home, I had strict parents, and I was homeschooled. I didn't feel like I had a community and I often felt alone, but when I went to university, that really changed and I feel like I really gained friends. To me, a community is people you can depend on and also be there for, people who miss you when they don't see you, and people you spend time with

It was our first time to give Xmas gift after moving to our new house, it felt good to have the small community , and you know you are not living with complete strangers.

I hope your neighbors appreciated your kindness and love language of gift giving. I love that idea and will do that next year for easter, halloween and christmas for my neighbors. :) community isn't a big part of my life which is sad, but I can do something about it. :)

Not really, I recently moved and live alone in a cute flat in the village(I adore countryside life 🏡) and all of my friends and family live one to four hours away from me. It's not that bad though because I enjoy my time alone but over time it does get very lonely. Then I'd meet my friends or visit my family and it'd be better. In the end, I chose this situation for myself and have to deal with it. Or embrace it. Both I guess. I love that you do gifts for your neighbors, you inspire me to do the same now. 👀
