That smoothness and metallic top end is very familiar to me... G12-65s? Growing up, my dad used a Mesa metal grille 4x12 (which he's had since he was around my age) and typically put a 57 on one of the G12-65s on the bottom. They did sound a bit buzzy at times but that was probably due to user error.
Sounds epic jase🤙holy shit noticed in the background you finally got a white falcon we are officially bros now😜🤜🤛if you ever upgrade the pickups my go to on my falcon is tv jones classic plus in the bridge and tv jones powertron in the neck 👌you won't be disappointed.
Hi there. Would you be willing to consider doing a video demonstrating the application of the square wave and oscilloscope? Is this valuable in determining the amount of negative feedback in an original amplifier design? I’m trying to understand how to use the square wave function of my signal generator. Thanks.
Wow, a much more modern sounding amp than I expected. I was thinking boosted Plexi. It ended up sounding like a boosted JCM800/900. Great tone sir. I'm afraid to mess with real tube amps (high voltage and whatnot), but I will try to apply this to my more faithful 1959SLP plugin emulations and see how it goes. Revalver has some pretty deep amp designing features, but nailing a Marshall sound is generally hard in software without it sounding thin or boxy. Does Australia having 230/240 volts at 50 hz and North America having 120 volts at 60 hz make a tone difference? I know there are conversion devices and a lot of modern amps now have switchable voltage, but for an original unit from the 1970s I wasn't sure. Then again I'm fairly sure the UK where the amp was made has 230 volts as well. Thanks. Great mods and tone which is usually hard to get to come through on UA-cam. We still have a lot of Lee Jackson modded Marshalls on the used market here in the U.S. Lee and Bob Bradshaw seemed to be all over the 80s/90s amp scene.
Can you mod the Origin 50 to do a jtm45? I love origin head. I just want to beef up the tone to a jtm45, origin still sounds fantastic as stock, but thin. It sounds like a thin jtm45 to me. So yeah, i want to mod it make it sound more beefy like the jtm45. Please thank you
I have this mod from Jason in a 1959hw... can confirm it peels paint and melts faces from a great distance
Sounds killer! 🤘🎩
Amp sounds great Jason
Great sounding amp!
Awesome modifications! they’re exactly what this amp needs 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Trapped Under Ice riff sounding on point 🧊⚡🪑⚡🧊
Shit dawg, Creeping Death... Brother ripping out all Ride the Lighting banger riffs
Haha, been diving back into it!
Dang, that's impressive! Nice job, Jason!
Sounds amazing bro. Great job.
I have one of his loops in my ‘15 2203x and it is totally worth it. Very noticeable difference. 🤘🏼
Love it🤘
Dude! Kings X!
01:17 😁
What is that song?
King’s X - Over My Head
Thanks Jason.
Nasty and filthy, everything I want in an amp!
Omfgawd so good! It will be mine, oh yes,.... it will be mine
Yep, sounds bloody good 🙏🎸🤘
TRAPPED UNDER ICE ! 🥶🥶

Mate!
Had to break out the Sennys 🎧 for that Jase!!
The first 'crunch' channel was like a pushed 800!!
Hey Jason, off topic: are you allowed to explain how the new friedmans plex and suhr sl68 master volumes work technically?
wow! Sounds great brother.. John Sykes kind of vibes? 🤘

I know if I ever get to live close to australia, I'll have my amps covered
Over my Head- kings X 🎚️🎚️🎚️💫🎸⚡️😺🎼
Sounds killer! How Marshall’s should sound from the factory it then you wouldn’t have a job!
Came for the mod, stayed for King's-X riffage \o/
What speakers are you playing through, Jason? Sounds massive!

Thrash heaven!!
Killer
Very Evil Joe, Chugs Killer.
Another great video, though I have a question.
What do you know about the Page Super Bass that was modded by Tony Frank?
Nothing sorry
Are you using Greenbacks in this demo?

Yes, just do the Plexi kid but change the preamp values and config to jtm45 spec
@HeadfirstAmps I don't know the jtm45 spec sorry. Could you tell me what it is? Thanks. And what do you mean by plexii kid?
Plexi kit. JTM spec is all over the Internet. I’m not going to type it out here sorry.
@HeadfirstAmps understand. Thanks
Awesome Metallica sounds
Hear that hand wired snobs?
I take it you’ve never heard a real hardwired amp? A real one. No PCB boards. Even hand welded chassis.
@@BlueSkiesBlackDeath Hand welded chassis? Pfttt... I use lasers from my eyes to weld an amp chassis together.
@ dude… you got me there. You shouldn’t be so open about it though, I hear the government experiments on people with super powers 😂🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 rock on man
Nothing wrong with PCBs ...
IF theyre done right... yeah Fender, lm looking at you!!
