I can tell you the mini 4 pro makes others envious. The fact you can put it into your jacket pocket and it does almost everything a casual user needs.
Inspire 3 is a BEAST! Let's not even talk about the added insurance for peace of mind. 😅 You actually got me on the motorcycle shot (7:24)...I was looking at the camera perspective/Viewpoint and thought shot #1 was the inspire. Because shot #2 was tracking from behind, I thought it was the Mini 4 Pro...so you got me on that one! Nice comparison gentlemen...keep up the great work!
Have to say I preferred the Mini 4 pro clips on the video, I picked them before the reveal, once compressed on UA-cam its very close. Bought the Mini 4 pro myself, pretty impressive upgrade from the Mini 2. I sold the Mini 2 straight after purchase, quality is so much better. Shot a night mode video for the first time this week and it has already paid for itself with that one sale.
I had 2 mini 2s (crashed one during a winter wedding - hit a twig and fell out of the sky, and then crashed my buddy's when he asked me to get aerial's at a heavily wooded house RE shoot, so I gave him my second one) and the image quality was so bad no matter how I exposed - ND filters, cranked shutter, watching highlights with zebras - it always looked horrible.

The 20x is misleading, he purchased the base model for the mini 4, and then bought more stuff for the inspire. Normally the inspire costs 16,000

Great video! I will say a lot of the difference in the comparison shots comes down to the color grading, given that both were shot in LOG (RAW on the I3?). It looks like the Inspire clips weren't graded as "cinematically" as the Mini 4 Pro clips.
The Mini 4 Pro is not DJI’s cheapest drone, it’s the Mini SE.

Do you need special permits to fly? I have been stopped dozens of times by cops on client projects and they say I need a permit from the town. This has happened in many towns not just one.
By only using the drone itself. With the Mini4 you only need to get a Drone-license. Nothing more. But it depends on where you live/fly and the weight of the drone. The EU has a lot of laws with drones. No Idea about America.
In the states you shouldn't need a licence. But....if you're earning money with the drone (selling you're footage, flying for clients) then you need a little drone-license. (I'm from Germany, I not a 100% sure)
If a UAS is under 250 grams no license is required, but if you want to make money using the drone you need a part 107 certificate.
If you are earning money from flying them, then you need a license . If it's just flying for fun, then you only need TRUST cert and be able to show which CBOs guidelines you're following. Also if your drone weighs more then you need to register it with the FAA
A simple answer is the mini series (under 250g) is flyable without permits
Over 250g is needed for a permit

What a great drone that Inspire 3 is. Those images will be great in a cinema. Of course, that is what it is intended for, and not for UA-cam videos. But fortunately that has been made clear in this video. For UA-cam, always go for the Mini 4 pro of course. Also a very nice device.
Awesome. The night ones actually got me. I kind of liked the coloring from the mini pro 4 better at night.
In Fpv you control both without a worry… you control it while at the same time getting a shot from the data you fly with (video feed)
I just got the mini 4 pro and it's really amazing 👏 with the sensors. Only thing is that when you traveling a distance the rc signal bars gets weak which Is not such a big deal. But do anyone know how to fix tht?

I've had the mini 4 pro for a week, only had the chance to fly indoors so far with no obstacle avoidance but luckily have not crashed.
The only thing the mp4 needs is a built in microphone and two more front sensors above the current ones so when tracking something and the drone tilts forwards it would keep track rather than stare at the ground
A microphone would be good 🔥. Sometimes when I fly It from a certain distance the rc signal gets weak making the camera on the mp4 lag a bit. Do u by chance know how to fix tht? Cause ik the drone can go much further

I think it depends on your preferences but the quality diffrence is oviesly pretty easy to see

I guess looking at content on YT as opposed to a cinema screen is the difference, because if it isn't then the M4P is punching way above it's weight!
If you are in the US you need a drone license to use it professionally regardless of the weight of the drone

Technically speaking, the mini 4 is not the least expensive. In fact it’s the most expensive in the mini line-up. You should’ve used the mini 2 SE.

you can tell every time which drone filmed what. Difference is huge. Why can the mini 4 do shots like the inspire 3, yes its more complicated but if you know where the drone is its still possible.

I'm no expert, but I think you color graded a bit too much (saturation, contrast). Therefore, the footage was not so easy to compare between both. The bigger sensor does make a great difference when properly colorized, I would say. Anyhow, I know it is just for the fun of it comparing the drones, so I don't want to be too much of a troll, nice video 😅👍
So, cool video, but the mini 4 pro is nowere near the cheapest drones they sell, even excluding "fun" drones like the Tello, It might be the Mini 2 Se or for a fair comparison A mini 3.

They’re technically Ryze Tech with DJI technologies used, it’s also not a current offering so I think this comparison is fair enough. Either way it would be impossible to title the video anything else “one of the cheapest DJI drones” doesn’t work haha

@@Tristan I do say my mini, but it is my college's though i am the only one trusted to use it so i video all the events and sometimes use it for my own things, its great but only if you have a use for it. I want to get into fpv flying for more fun but it is too expensive

technically their least expensive drone is the DJI-Ryze Tello but its nothing compared to the inspire 3 and mini 4 pro, the only thing it has over the two is the 100 bucks price point

The mini 4 pro is def not the least expensive lol. With the rc 2 it nearly costs THREE times as much as the mini 2 se. Great comparison overall, but the title and this whole statement is a bit misleading.
What a stupid comparisson... Iinitially thought. But then I watched to complete vid. I have to say I was wrong 2 out of 3 times guessing which footage was from which drone. Good video, very interesting.

Low light photography is probably the most challenging test, and the Mini 4 Pro seems almost as good as the Inspire 3 - to me, at least.
Keep in mind that you are not watching the I3 in 8k. This 30k plus with its necessary accessories drone has a superior image quality to the mavic 3 even with youtube compression

UA-cam compression did us dirty on this one, it is sharper but because the mini 4 pro has more digital sharpening (a common hting on smaller cameras to increase perceived quality) the youtube compression makes the image seem higher contrast and sharper. But if you really pixel peep the original video upload, the inspire 3 is sharper
