The only draw back from these hungry bins is for older folks who have back and neck issues to bend down to retrieve leachate and worm compost can get heavy to move around as well. One thing I would suggest is try leaving your hungry bin open instead of closing it. Just place a piece of lightly damp cardboard to keep worms from climbing into the lid when opening.
