no the cart is NOT BAD it's the internal "pressure balancing" feature (as per MOEN)... in my opinion it's just a bad design. I WILL NEVER BUY MOEN AGAIN!!! complete trash
@@amgadshalata7598 ive actually solved the problem myself they sent me a new valve assembly and the new cartridge. It did the same thing. Weird is both my hot and cold have great pressure. So I took the extra cartridge and drilled that MF out and now it acts normally. I even complained to MOEN using lots of 4 letter words. They have no business in my bathroom working about my pressure or the temperature of my water. I'm an adult I can monitor all of that on my own. Make a valve that just turns ON and OFF
@@ivancan1777 I found that I had to test every position going around individually and that where it’s initially warm it gets colder around the 3oclock position on my valve. Very weird.

The problem is that pple have it already in their showers and we have to deal with this garbage

Good Video, I just replaced my cartridge and getting very mild cold water.
This happened in my shower too
Same thing brand new set and no cold water.. what a junk
Same issue what do we do?
Go buy another and swap out the cartridge and return it as defective
I bought 2 new ones danco and moen and still no cold water for me. There is no clog because cild water runs without cartridge

I ran into the same problem with two different cartridges. No solution yet. Probably going to switch valve types and get away from moen

Thank you. I have a defective replacement Moen cartridge. Very little cold. My kids tell me....
And that happened to us, but even after that is now leeks
I'm having the same problem. Just replaced cartridge today. I'll have to order another one. This came from Moen too.
