      You can also use it with other brick toys. This is not limited to Lego.
      Mega bricks, Kre-O, Mega Contrux, BanBao, Cobi and others should work fine as well...

    Tools4D Voxygen is still working in R25 but only with the Insidium Bridge for R25. But I like your approach much more! It gives way more insight in how it all can be achieved in R25 itself!
    I would not be surprised if you would ask a price for your efforts or do you have some sort of subscription?

    mmmhhh, very interesting... Athanasios, do you think there's a way in C4D so that we can morph between 2 VDBs? Kinda like vdbmorphsdf node in Houdini.

    I have a problem Knowsman please help!
    Once I drag my density into the fall off I can still see the remaining cloner cubes with only a peppering of colored cubes where the smoke meets the bounding walls. Any ideas why these are not hiding themselves? Efcharistó!

    oh gosh, this is nice! btw could you let me know the spec of your machine? because my pc is quite lagging over 10x10x10 cloner altho it's 10 cores of 10850k and rtx 3060ti. how can u run the 39x51x49 cubes? or any tips can you give me for optimising?

      I have an 11 year old Mac Pro and we all know how better Mac's are... nonetheless, set the cloner to generate "Multi instances" (Look at 2:10). It should make it much faster.

    what if i was "voxelizing" an animated character? what would be the best approach to applying textures?

      I would assume you mean "how to transfer the Model textures to the clones". You would have to use a Shader Effector, BUT this may become a bit complicated if your character is made up of multiple components and textures.
      Unfortunately, nothing I can say in a youtube comment. I'll look into it...

      @@noseman i wish i could show you screen caps of my eventual work around: create multiple copies of my animated character and delete polys for areas of the mesh that i wanted to be different colors (body & clothes, for example). i have separate copies of volume builder / cloner / plain effector for the body and clothes. details would be difficult to add but i'm still working at it! thank you for the response! I'm interested to hear what you discover.

    Is it possible to build volumes with voxel but only from the surface of the object? I want the interior to be hollow to reduce polygon count

      yes if you're creating your own volumes. Invert the fog, expand the Voxel Depth to 2 and use that to hide the rest. Hidden doesn't mean they are not there, so some time penalty will occur. You may be able to do that using an imported volume but since the values are not known you will have to do some clever wrangling...

    When i hit render, i cant see the cubes... just visible in viewport. I cant figure it out, what the problem is :(
    edit: well when i move the cloner object to the end of the hierachy i can see the cube in render. on top for example they are not visible. thats really weird (r23)

      it appears objects with lists (fields and volume builders), sometimes need a bit of hierarchy reshuffling. It has happened to me on occasion...

    I tried a million times using R25 and 2023 and the boxes simply disappear when I put the Plain in "fields" (since there is not falloff anymore). Any idea what I am doing wrong? thanks in advance!

      I don't recall having to "when I put the Plain in "fields". If it's not working it must be something else.

      @@noseman Sorry I didn't explain myself correctly. I meant when I put the density (vdb) inside the "fields" (before called Falloff). Weird enough, the way I found to make it work was reducing the "strenght" to 55%. And now it works! Next thing trying to solve is how to make the colors work in Octane, let's see. Thanks a lot!

      @@manuelcamino5852 The reason is the "Density" value which is bunch of numbers. "Visibility" is a boolean: either ON or OFF. So the Plain effector needs to know at which percentage (Default is 50%) it should turn off the clones. Apparently your Density Grid (volume) had different values than mine and therefore needed a tweak to decide which ones to Hide. Hope that makes sense...
