Coco is the luckiest cat in the world to find you guys. What a great life she is having. She is gorgeous I wonder if she remembers the island and how close she was to dying.
You giving water to other boaters is the first thing to bring tears to my eyes since my wife died. Water is the gift of life. Our water makers make more water than we need….so few share. For exercise, I rigged bicycle pedals to a generator and peddle to power the VCR and monitor.
I'm so happy that you were able to notice that boat before I hit yours. You did an amazing job with those window covers. I hope they work out well for you. But of course, the cutest thing ever, Coconut! It's nice to see how well she's doing better and better. She loves you so much!😽💕
🤩you handled the problem with grace and you can wear whatever you want 😂 such a joy to watch so calming and enjoying the respect you have for each other is wonderful love watching you smiling 😃 always.
Drama in the Anchorage !!!! What ! Not pink window shades !?! 😊 Loving the episode. You folks are so real and well mannered !!!! So refreshing. I am sure that Coconut will love the cooler salon. Is she completely recovered yet? When danger approaches, you just have to do what you have to do ! Properly dressed or otherwise !!!! Worry not ! Your videos are fun AND interesting.
I lost count of the number of times boats would come into an anchorage and just “park” right next to us. Next thing they are off the boat with beers in hand and take off ashore. We always asked them to move. If they ignored us - we moved. It’s just rude. You did brilliantly.

Just wondering if coco has been desexed yet.. the way she was acting on the front deck at the end suggests she is coming on season.. Great week for you even with the that other boat being to close. Thanks for the smiles and the video.
My Cat is a rescue, He is like that with me, I kinda think he knows he was close to being put down, and is super thankful. Besides he knows he is loved.
Close call. Love how you're so authentic! So glad you had your biking shorts on, I just purchased an exercise bike today! You're giving me inspiration! Hi Coconut, you have the best human parents at sea!!
Coconut looks incredibly happy & healthy! Excellent job! As far as y'all feeling the need to explain why you two are smiling, it's unfortunate, but there are people out there for whom another's happiness is painful. Chances are, there's nothing either of you could say or do that would make them feel any better. It truly _is_ a "Them" problem. While I believe that they deserve compassion, it shouldn't result in you feeling the need to defend yourselves. You're not doing anything wrong.
Another great video. Congratulations on getting to where you are at this time. Now on to the star of the show Coconut. She looks so good and was happy to see her out of the cabin and out on the bow. Keep enjoying life and keep an eye on Coconut.
Isn't it absurd when in an Anchorage and there are infinite amounts of room and someone decides to anchor dangerously close. I've sailed for 40 years and still don't understand the logic, and it has happened to me many times. You are lucky you were on your boat. I've seen boaters hit boats with no one in their boats and deny they ever did . It is a good idea to have a bell on captain C neck. You can hear her wherever she is. My captain C had a bad habit of wanting to roam into places only an arm can get into, or go other boats when at dock etc.
We have no idea why they picked a spot so close to us. Coconut always is in within 5 feet of us, I think she knows we have the food and she is not willing to let us out of her site haha, we do have a harness for when we are underway :-)
Wow, what an adventure, you all never disappoint ☺️. Thank God you guys weren't off the boat when Mr. Inconsiderate almost ran into you. I just can't fathom why anyone would anchor so close to another boat when they had all that water 🤔. Oh well hopefully they learned their lesson. Yvette, looks like your doing a fantastic job sewing the shades. I can see Coco is doing amazing living the good life as are you. Till next time, stay smiling, stay safe out there and God bless 🙏
Another great video, guys! I'm so happy for you, living the dream 😊! Coconut looks completely at home with you two ❤. Before Coco, did you know you were cat people?!😂
I am absolutely in love with your channel. I have lots of interests but honestly, sailing has never been a particular draw to me. You have changed that! I randomly happened across your channel a few months ago and i have been telling people about it ever since. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thanks heaps for the kind words! If you have any questions about the stuff you see on our videos just leave a comment and we will do our best to give you a proper answer :-)
Nice to see you sewing. Your machine should have a speed controller. On my machine the speed knob is indicated by an icon of a turtle (slower) and a hare (faster).
Supernova, I am SO enjoying your off the cuff very genuine storytelling. It's superb! I just have to ask, what were you ever doing that was crew team without Coconut? 😆 ❤❤❤ Such a great trio! Loving your channel and adventures! So NOT pretentious. I appreciate that so much. 🙏
Dear @@sailing.supernova After watching Yvette accidentally using Coco as a footrest, I say: you might be right. 😁 ;-) Although it's self praising: I really like my sign text! Guys, first off Love the channel... Love how authentic you are... and that you are just figuring it out as you go. Couple of questions.... How long do you plan to be Cruising\boating? How are you affording the life style? What does the budget look like this far, and where does your go forward income come from? Curious to know these questions as to fulfill my own dreams.
We have no end date for this trip, so ill say 7 years or longer, we are just having so much fun and the world is so big, We saved up but we are not sure how we are going to keep the trip going, our savings will hold us over for 3 ish more years and we hope to find some ways to make a bit of money before then. we will do a better job of answering these questions in the Q&A we will be putting out in 2 weeks :-)
She needed to get spayed but she had a bad infection that made it a bit more complicated, its all good now, well give an update on her in a week or two :-)
Has the Santana 28 dude been loving your videos I probably would have just tied his boat to mine with bumpers waited for the captain seen if they had any beer board for bumper tax
Oh! Almost forgot....was the mono hull you gave the water to Yaba? It was a bit dark on my screen and the boat's name was obscured. If so, i recently started following them and i'm eager to see them set sail after all their hard work 😊
anchoring next to other boats when there is tons of space is called "french anchoring", but you will discover than soon over your following adventures in the caribeans.
Welcome to the Caribbean, ocean of 10,000 Catamarans that should have never been built. Thanks to Neptune, the human fender didn’t get hurt. The charter companies have ruined Cats by making them so popular and renting them to people who only want a floating condo. You are doing great, the Prout Bros and my brother are proud of you as I am.
It would be difficult to ask someone to move. And, I was thinking if you had a translation app. I dont know if you would had time for that sort of thing, but someday it might come in handy. I was scared he was trying to board the boat. Did you ever have that thought or did you just have a feeling it was an innocent accident? Way to go with the sewing machine, your sister needs a beer, too 😉
He was doing his best to stop the boats from hitting, he was not the captain and he didn't really know what he was doing, but he did try his best. Will be getting my sis a beer for sure haha
When I visited Mexico, I used the Google Translate app, because it will not just translate, but it'll speak the language. Just in case. I doubt that would have helped in this situation, but who knows.
Yea we were trying to tell him to stop but he really didn't want the boats touching and he didn't trust our rubber fenders. He did amazing for not really knowing to much though :-)
