The super yacht in the beginning is the Ulysses, which is now owned by Mark Zuckerburg. Built in Norway by Kleven Verft shipyard, the 107m superyacht was previously owned by Graeme Hart, a top businessman from New Zealand. With interiors styled by H2 Yacht Design, Ulysses can accommodate 30 guests in 15 suites. It also includes an entire deck dedicated to the owner. The crew quarters allows for a staff of 42 people. The vessel has a helicopter landing platform and hangar plus a professional cinema with surround sound system. Two elevators are serving all decks. A heated swimming pool, a beach club, gym, spa and a large garage filled with water toys are also available on board. The sale was announced in October last year, after one year on the market. She was listed for sale at an asking price of $195 million.
I am SO! happy to see your smiles back! Your pure joy in the journey, boat work, snorkel, beach, whatever comes, is why I watch. Hoping to follow your footsteps in a few years.
Thanks heaps, we really didn't want anything to happen to there boat, they need it to fish and live so we made sure to look after it as best as we could :-)
Dear Sailing Supernova couple. 👍👌👏 Yeah, you did well to leave the anchorage in the little bay. Better safe than sorry! Out of my long experience, the gut feeling is more often correct than what our head tells us. It's nice to see that you always like to help other people. Hope that the several little cuts in Yvette's leg will heal fast. But maybe a doctor should nevertheless take a look at the cuts? 😁 ;-) Although I just finished watching your video, I'm already longing for the next one. Unfortunately I have to wait a whole week, sigh. Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved.
Thanks for the kind words:-) The leg cuts are almost gone already haha We were must likely going to be fine... but we just had a bad feeling so yea :-)
@sailing.supernova Hey! Where are Yvette and Darcy and what have you done with/to them! 😱 Because they absolutely never ever respond(ed) sooo incredibly fast. So who is answering? Coco? 😁 ;-) 😋😜😝 👅😇😘 Glad that you two had and still have some quality time with several family members (not to forget the American twin sister of Coco). Thanks for replying and especially for giving a heart to my comment. As you know, I always and totally appreciate both very much. Sincerely yours.
Looking at the flapping on the mainsail leech , it looks like it needs a little downhaul tension . Ive never used in mast furling so not sure how you can tension it. We used choppers at sea for crew changes etc. Finest way to get ashore , not exactly green though .
Sideline…. My grandmother hunted abalone off northern coast of California. It was back in the 50’s through the 60’s. Fort Bragg in particular. I loved visiting the are and especially Mendocino… Beautiful memories. Your adventures bring it all back. Happy to see you being careful. I realize Abalone is in danger and it worries me. I would not consume. However I remember loving our abalone, clam and fish fries on our summer vacations. 😜
Hey guys!! I just wanted to say that my girlfriend and I just found your channel and can’t get enough of your content! We went back and began watching from the start and we’re enjoying every minute!! We wish you every luck and happiness on your adventures and we hope you guys are doing better now. Take care of yourselves and happy sailing!! From us here in the U.K.
Oh my goodness , the music when you were at the Bat cave !!!!!! Divine choice . Also nice to see Darci’s Mom . Love the pink ponytail . Did I just not see coconut ??? And , when you were getting the anchor free , I saw other people . ???
My Mom and Dad are on board to :-) The Bat cave music took a very long time to find haha, so I'm really glad you liked it :-) We will get some cool shots of Coconut for next week :-)
Another very nice video guys. Sweet as you guys are always helping others it seems like the fishermen intentionally did what they did which is very unfortunate. The last laugh is on them when they come in in the morning or whenever they come back to see that they did not succeed in blocking you guys in there. As always stay safe and God bless
Those sunsets 😍 it so beautiful down there! And warm too! We just got hit with a snow storm yesterday. The caves were so awesome. I love exploring new places. Darcy to the rescue! Again 🤣 I love your hair Yvette! Happy New Year yall!!! 💜 from Mississippi!
Hey guys We are following you on Sea People and will be leaving Guadaloupe next week, to temporarily go to Texas and refit quickly, get to the Bahamas ASAP and hit up the US north east coast before hurricane season. We believe we heard that you will be going in that direction, if so, it would be great to meet up! we will have our two cats on board… Brucey is 18 and Church is five.
Hey guys.. watching the video video right now getting home sick 🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨..but enjoying every moment. Reach out if you need anything while your there.. I'm from a big family 😎
In 2021 we had an encounter with aggressive fisherman near where you were. We anchored in Byahaut which was empty and within 20 minutes many fishing boats came into the bay and one tried to set their net around our boat. It’s a shame that they do that as cruisers don’t want to stop and it hurts others in their community.
That is to bad, there is way fewer people around here and there are a lot of reports of theft, that's most likely why we are not seeing tons of boats. This place is so nice and we thought it was going to be busy!
Don't think you could get Coconut to leave the boat if you tried haha, she really feels safe on the boat and does not even try and leave if we are at a dock haha :-)
Yes, the locals can be a little surly in St Vincent. But most are fine. Bequia, Admiralty Bay is one of my favorite places in the S E Caribbean. Only when I was there there were many 15 boats! Not 50. Ha ha.
I think that the anchor fouling and blocking you leaving was deliberate . Maybe they were mad you were in their fishing spot , maybe just don't like tourists .
it may have been, we were tucked much farther back then the last boat that was in there, either we we are happy we got out with no damage to either boat :-)
Loving the pink hair Yvette! How come Darcy didn't have a matching pink mohawk? :) I noticed your paddle board on the port side seems to have had a run in with something, hopefully nothing on your boat suffered as well. All the best and glad to see Capt Coco lounging in the captains seat again.
Thanks heaps, you are right he should get a pink hawk haha Its just a bit flat, we need to do a soap test on it and then fix it, most likely get a hole when we gave it to some kids to play with, the had so much fun and we can fix it so its all good :-)
Captain Coconut don't mess around😊. How do you determine the distance to stay away from the other ships that are anchored? That would make me nervous every time i would anchor with lots of boats around. Y'all just living the life! Captain coconut ain't going to like that you cheated on her with that black cat. You're lucky you washed it off by scuba diving are you all would have been in trouble with Captain coconut.
Gosh, the sail at the beginning looked SO GORGEOUS! How wonderful! Oh wow, you've had a full house! Was your boat big enough? Or did they stay on-shore? LOL, sneaky way to grab the cove without making the other people feel pushed :D Drones rule, eh? I wonder if you like it better now with more people around? or if you prefer to be super alone? I'd think being closer to "civilization" kind of makes one feel safer? or?
Everyone was on the boat, we had to do a huge clean up of the rooms for that to happen, but it was worth it to have a great family xmas :-) We really like being around other people, but nothing beats going solo and finding new places and things :-) I think we both like when we are the only people for days, we never really have felt unsafe until we were boarded, and we hope that we still feel safe when we are in the middle of nowhere, but only one way to find out :-)
@ see the Sailrite video Part 6 and the clear is part 11. May give you some ideas but it’s like a pocket with a line and a small cleat. It’s worth doing since it will cause your main sail to fail sooner flapping like that. ❤️
Can’t quite see and I’m sure you’ve experimented but the leech flapping in the mainsail might be moderated by increasing the vang (kicking strap) tension. It may of course be that the sail is just a bit knackered.
Not sure if you guys have already answered this so my apologies if you have, but have y’all experienced sea sickness while traveling? Or was it ever something you worried about? To have such an incredible dream to travel the world by boat could be shut down so easily if you get sea sickness easily I feel like!
Darcy has only got sea sick 1 time and it was very very bad out, i have got it two times. there is lots of stuff you can do to treat it, and remember you will spend 90% of your time at anchor. There are drugs that work really well for 3 days, and most people are ok after 3 days. and 99% of your sailing will be shorter then 3 days :-)
Why would it be disappointing? Surely you wouldn’t be against people supporting who ever they want to? What a silly comment which I can only assume would lead you to ‘cancel’ them had it been different to theirs because that would be so very mature!!!
Man you guys are living the dream!!!!❤

Cool, we thought it was a different one called multiverse the Mr. Zuckerburg used to own.

Thanks heaps. We are so lucky to be out here, it is amazing! you will have so much fun when you take the leap :-)
Incredible video! Honestly, Earth has soo many hidden treasures like this island, that blue clear water view is unbelievable ❤️
It's crazy how many cool places are still out there that no one has seen yet :-)
@ It really is! ❤️
:-)
Loved it! Lotsa family and lotsa action! Hope y'all are enjoying every minute! Well done getting unstuck!
Thanks heaps :-)
Another week, another fun filled video with some extra excitement at the end, keep on sailing, see ye next Friday 💖
Thanks heaps :-)
You are very nice to the others that are not so considerate. Certainly more considerate than I would have been, well done
Thanks heaps, we really didn't want anything to happen to there boat, they need it to fish and live so we made sure to look after it as best as we could :-)
You are good people! Thank you for the videos! I’m glad to see Coco living her best life.
She's a real sweetheart and we're so lucky to have her on board!
Much help given this week!! Look forward to next weeks episode!
Thanks heaps really glad you liked the video :-)
Hope you are having a great start to your new year :-)

Thanks heaps, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the video. Was dancing to the Caribbean music at the beginning of the video. Love the colour of the water. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks heaps, all the music out here is so good! and its played live just about every night :-)
So nice how you are always helping others. Good for you!
Thanks heaps :-)

I just subscribed … two anchor rescues impressed me. Smiles and coconut the Kitty. Stay safe!
Darcy always seems to be in the right place at the right time haha
Love you guys! Thanks 4 sharing your adventures with us. Safe journey. ❤
Thanks heaps :-)
Given a choice between that mega yacht and a 50 foot cat , the mega yacht loses big style. I like small quiet spaces . Great video as always .
Don't forget all the noise the chopper would make when taking off haha.
Looking at the flapping on the mainsail leech , it looks like it needs a little downhaul tension .
Ive never used in mast furling so not sure how you can tension it.

Darcy comes in really useful in odd situations, I think ill keep in around for a while haha
@sailing.supernova heh-heh-heh...!
Nice video...very relaxing to watch.
Thanks heaps :-)
you need a leech line in the leech of your main sail. this is important and will save the leech of your sail. good luck. Don
Thanks for the advice, we are pretty sure we have one, we just need to figure out how to adjust it :-)
Cool. Thank you, sir and ma'am.
Thanks heaps!

Thanks heaps, hope it gets warm there soon, but remember cold winters means long summer days :-)
@sailing.supernova yeeesss I can't wait 😆
Also ,those little fishes that you mentioned are probably something we call tri tri... They're used to make something like fritters
good to know :-)

Happy new year!! hope all is going well :-)
You mentioned the flapping luffs in your video. Do yoursails have luff lines that can be adjusted?
Just check it out and they do, so we will have to look up how to adjust them, thanks for the advice :-)
Coco, getting her sea legs. Does she get nervous when she sees a island. Ha! You guys STAY SAFE AND HAVE FUN.
Don't think you could get Coconut to leave the boat if you tried haha, she really feels safe on the boat and does not even try and leave if we are at a dock haha :-)
They wanted you to pay them to let you out. Glad you found another way 👍🏼
Well that was just never going to happen haha :-)
Yes, the locals can be a little surly in St Vincent. But most are fine. Bequia, Admiralty Bay is one of my favorite places in the S E Caribbean. Only when I was there there were many 15 boats! Not 50. Ha ha.
Did you get a new main? I never noticed you had vertical reefs.
We put it up in Mexico, we absolutely love it, but we need to adjust it to get it sailing a bit better i think :-)
I think that the anchor fouling and blocking you leaving was deliberate . Maybe they were mad you were in their fishing spot , maybe just don't like tourists .
it may have been, we were tucked much farther back then the last boat that was in there, either we we are happy we got out with no damage to either boat :-)

Panini is plural, panino is singular! Xoxoxoo❤❤❤
I can't promise ill remember that haha
@sailing.supernova There will be NO quiz! 🌺 🌺 🌺
Wow! That's a big yacht! Did you see which one (the name) it was? I still love yours the most! Best Capt. Coconut!
Its huge, its called Multiverse. we just saw it again today!

You need to tighten the leech line on the main.
Thanks heaps, we are going to look into how to do that
@ see the Sailrite video Part 6 and the clear is part 11. May give you some ideas but it’s like a pocket with a line and a small cleat. It’s worth doing since it will cause your main sail to fail sooner flapping like that. ❤️
Would you guys ever consider selling Supernova or when you possibly move on to a new boat would you hold on to her for sentimental reasons?
We couldn't afford to keep her if we weren't living on her. but we are having to much fun to stop :-)
Can’t quite see and I’m sure you’ve experimented but the leech flapping in the mainsail might be moderated by increasing the vang (kicking strap) tension. It may of course be that the sail is just a bit knackered.
Its a new sail so it should be good, we have just been told to adjust the luff tape, we are going to look at how to do that then give it a shot :-)
The world is becoming quite unsettled. Stay aware and think safety.
We will keep our eyes open for sure :-)
Darcy needs a cap. Super Hero
He always seems to know what to do and he always stays calm, I don't think I could feel this safe with anyone else :-)
What was the name of the boat? Did you see where it was flagged
it was called the multiverse it used to be owned by the facebook guy I think

We have one, now we need to figure out what we are supposed to do with it lol
Snorkelling at sunset I Australia 😮 are you completely insane ?
haha I now I know, there are no sharks here... well next to no sharks, we have been looking for them and have not seen any :--)
Nice batcave soundtrack
Thanks heaps! it took longer then I want to admit to find that track haha
✌
Thanks heaps :-)
that was very suspicious i wouldn't sleep there at all
✌🏽✌🏽
:-) thanks heaps
I know absolutely nothing about sailing, but that flapping might be caused by the sail being too tight. 🤷♂️
Imagine trapped in a bay ,and big strong head winds seas built up but fishing nets all over you cant leave,,,, dead trap…
Smokin' bikini .😊
Its one of my favorites
Where'd ur cat go? Jump into the sea?
she is still here, and loving boat life.... or just the tuna that is on the boat haha
Been watching you guys for awhile. Great people and good video's. Sincerely hope the pink hair isn't political. That would be disappointing. Sail on
Its to match the boat :-)
Why would it be disappointing? Surely you wouldn’t be against people supporting who ever they want to? What a silly comment which I can only assume would lead you to ‘cancel’ them had it been different to theirs because that would be so very mature!!!
