Hey mate how're you going? I've done a lot of research which has pushed me to get a standing desk and an under desk walking treadmill, should be arriving in two weeks :) think I'll do some recording in case I make a video out of it. We're in an increasingly sedentary and overweight world so it's amazing how little content on this topic there is, thanks for putting out a lot of the little that there is.
I absolutely love these videos. Just found them about a week ago after I ordered an under the desk treadmill, and today I finally got it and took some scrap wood to make a small desk that I can move in and out of my room. Cannot wait to start using it, signed up for 2022 miles in 2022 and haven't even been able to start cause I've been doing schoolwork constantly! So this is going to help a lot!
Fabulous info. You’re doing a great job!!!!I walk @9 miles a day > 22000 steps(I am height challenged so my steps count differently lol). It’s great. I have always walked a lot. I’m 71. Great channel. Keep spreading the word.
Thanks so much. I’m glad you enjoyed the info. 22000 / 9 miles a day at 71 -Now that is impressive!!🙂 thank you for the comment, it is inspiring!. keep walking strong!!😉
Thx you’re so nice. Got a question maybe you can answer. Why do my steps add up to different miles everyday? Odd. Thx again for your channel and your nice reply
@@garnetsome This happens to me as well. I am not exactly sure. I do know most track your speed, and how many steps in a certain amount of time. Some also track your location. This is a good question. I may have to research this one.
#9 is the money shot. Consistency. I Work from home, ever since Covid last year. When I'm in the living room, I'm sprawled out on the chaise lounge watching YT vids and documentaries. But if I have the treadmill up, I just hop on, push the button, and start walking away. No excuses.
Yes I agree, consistency is probably the most important one on this list. And great job on changing things up. I totally understand how easy it is to sprawl out on the couch and binge watch YT videos. That’s why I think the treadmill should be in every home just like any other appliance or television. It is such an important tool in fighting against a sedentary lifestyle.

Great video. It's wonderful to hear that walking helped you so much. I hope I experience the same when I get my desk treadmill. I love walking :)
Glad you enjoyed it. You’re going to love your treadmill desk. Just remember to go at a slow pace in the beginning. Happy walking!!! 🙂
