Some folks have reported that they're having trouble hearing me. Anybody else experience this? If so reply to this comment and give me a timestamp, please

I noticed the volume does go down while i've got the stuff on the track but I can still hear myself. I'm father away from the camera, which is an iphone, so the microphone isn't too great. If I ever get monotized i'll invest into some better filming equipment

Love this bachmann set. They did this set in HO and N scale. The 4270 4271 4275 and 4276 later became 270 271 275 and 276. They reserved the 4000s for C6Ms. The F units were auctioned off a couple of years ago. The EZ track is awesome track! I have ez track for N and Ho scale. EZ mate couplers are good! I started with bachmann back in 2007 when I started HO. They have Simple systems that are fun to use like the EZ command control center. Keep
That set running! Glad to see this in your collection.
If your locomotive is running a different direction that you have the controller set at, unplug the track wire, flip it, plug it back in the rerailer and you are set!
Bachmann units are built better than they were. They run a whole lot smoother and are reliable. Really good starter set!
You can find the EZ track anywhere including your local train or hobby shop.
    I love your videos!
    Keep up the fine work!

My nephew actually has the H.O. scale set and it is also just as good of a runner as my N scale set.

To get the train to go in the same direction as the controller turn over & swap the track connector. Maybe mark it for LH or RH running.

lol don't tease me! I couldn't deal with the winters up there despite how blisteringly beautiful that part of the world is.

I got 3 sets from Hobby Lobby a couple of months ago. $49.00 ea. runs well on old track. The coupler swap is a process to run older stock.

I look at my local hobby lobby every time I go and haven't been fortunate enough to find them any cheaper than normal. If I found sets for $50 each i'd buy them all, too.
For older rolling stock I just drop in an adapter car. I'll have to see how these Bachmann knuckle couplers play will MTL, Kato, etc. My guess is not very well since they aren't spring loaded 2-piece units.

They aren't bad for the price. I enjoy mine.

I would pay $150 for just the F7 and rolling stock and toss the rest or give it to someone who uses Bachman's easy track. I collect NS, and an F7 was my very first N scale locomotive as a kid.

The set can be had for FAR less if you look hard enough. The rolling stock is pretty good. Although the one piece knucke couplers are kinda crappy. Easy enough to swap out.

I don't know what you been told about that that's not the original control of that came with it somebody switched out the one and you can buy them at Hobby Lobby and the discount aisle for $47 I know this much because I bought five of them if you can still find them

And I know that I have been to all 3 of my local Hobby Lobby locations and NOT found any on sale. Wish I had. That's really the only reason I ever go in there.

If you go to Hobby Lobby they're $47 brand new in the box I reached recently purchased five of them at 47 dollars was a steal but the one that you get from Hobby Lobby doesn't have that controller it's got it looks the same but it doesn't have to tap things on the top

I have looked at both of the closest Hobby Lobby locations to me several times since recording this and neither have had their N scale Bachmann units on sale. Still ~$140 each.

My computer's volume is all the way up and the UA-cam volume is all the way up. I cannot hear you at times. (My hearing is fine.)

Weird. I've not had anybody else report having that problem. I'll sticky a comment and ask. May have to re-encode but I went back and listened just now and I can hear myself just fine.
