Bachman is a Good Brand I am Running in N Scale And Loving every Piece of it I wouldn’t trade it for Anything. Don’t care if it is hated I don’t Have Any problems with Mine I’ll Be Glad when I Finish it.Not Rushing it at All.
Nice video and track's distribution. For some reason there are many videos testing that locomotive car with a relative high number of cars. In your case, your test was successful. However, i think that the hardest test for this model is to connect the cars.
The newer Bachmann N scale stuff is actually pretty good. The older stuff is very hit or miss. I've had some really good ones and some really bad ones. It looks like this Stallion set trends on the better side. The new Bachmann N scale stuff has the Micro Trains style couplers. Your set looks to have the older Rapido style. Again nice little set. I may have to see if i can find one of those Norfolk Southern F units loose on eBay. I'm just starting to put some N-Scale model railroad content on my channel. May put some HO scale stuff as well as I have far more of that hardware. But N scale is much more convenient as space is very limited. VERY good review! I enjoyed it.
They have been offering that set for at least 10 years. Older sets had Rapido couplers. I dont know about this set, but my Yard Master has the knuckle couplers, but included Rapido in the box in case you needed the older style.
Great video! I've been a huge train lover since I was a kid and I'm about to buy a few N scale sets so I can introduce my daughter to trains as well. I've been watching a few of your vids for tips on how to use the controllers as well as how the sets are in general. Love the reveiw and the setup you have going for your other trains!
For an inexpensive starter set I think this fits the bill. Easy to expand with more track and cars. However, if you want more track and cars from jump street, they have bigger sets. Want steam, they gotcha covered. Want to dive into the world of DCC? They even have a set for that. Bachmann has a good range for beginner N scale sets. I am however much less impressed with their HO starter sets. Black roadbed track with steel rails and plastic wheels is unacceptable for today.
Not a bad price for that much stuff at all. Heck, engines alone now cost $70.00, or more for good, basic DC locomotives. Bachmann has improved their locomotives since the late 1980s offerings, also. Train set engines used to be dreadful.
Ummm, that's a great question and I'm not sure. My only guess probably not only because of the electrical components, having one be DCC and the other standard DC.
@@thecollegerailroader hey I just found something interesting on UA-cam about this question ua-cam.com/video/JAin_nEMHlY/v-deo.html Look at time frame 7:13 of that video as I think you can do that by adding analog controller to the DCC controller
I want to build a small layout in my apartment I'm retired now of n scale. I wondered at the bachman track if you make a circle track which I would expand it to do other things. How much room do you need to make a complete turn how large a board would I need I need to know what the radius is of the track from the outside plastic gravel bed it's attached to I would really appreciate if you could tell me what the dimensions are and how much room I would need to make a turn I was thinking of buying flex track I'm sure they make it for n scale. But I need something that I can take back down easily if I decide to move. I've been in the trains my whole life when I was a kid in the seventies I had tons of trains but I never tried in scale and now that I live in an apartment and I'm retired by myself I love to do some end scale railroading
Hi John. Great idea for a layout. When it comes to any layout especially for using a snap-able track. I always add an inch of plastic on each side for n scale. For HO scale I add 2 inches to both sides. For example, if I am using n scale track and I am using a 15in radius that would mean the full turn would be 30in then add 2 an additional inches for the plastic bases. So total, the amount of space for a semi circle would be 32in. At that point you might as well get a table for 3 feet.
That is true. Sometimes if the box had been jumping around, the couplings may be broken or in poor condition. Usually I switch some of the couplings out
Good job on your review and the way you talk to the viewer.
Thank you ☺️

@@hobbyroomx I have since picked up a Stallion set myself. It's got the newer couplers plus rapidos in a spare parts bag.

don't waste your money- you know she's just going to come home with a boy who has piercings on his face and plugs in his ears

Hi Shaun, nice to hear from you. Yes, you can run other train models/other model train companies on bachmann track

will that speed controller be compatible with the add on connect to Bachmann DCC controller?

Nickel Silver E-Z Track?
Yes that is correct.
The engine and 3 cars. The whole thing is the "train."
But most cuffling come shitty
