Would this be causing my HRX217hya to not cut all the grass while mowing? Or is that cuased by the belt? I have just started to have this issue with it not staying on in FAST mode as well. But, the blades constantly being missed is driving me up the wall!!!!!
Nobody's got answer yet.
Funny cuz ive tired mowing slower, nope.had carb replaved last fall, nope. Bern running REC fuel last 2 season too. This year the lawn blade problem just seems to be getting worse n worse!!
It looks like Honda's kept the same basic design for the new models. My HRR216 TDA carb setup looks the same as the one in the video. I guess I've been luck to have mine run for 15 years without a fuel filter. Usually I'm proactive but since it always ran well, I never considered installing a fuel filter. I ordered a replacement carb and it came with a fuel filter, now I'm wondering why the mower came without one originally??? I guess in the near future mowers will be equipped with ECM's, EFI, MSD ignitions, TPS, MAP, crank postion, and O2 sensors, catalytic converters, PCV valves, and variable-valve timing...LOL...Collision warning systems etc.etc.etc.God help us...Thanks for the great video...
Yeah sometimes the fuel filter is inline inside the gas line.
good work
Thanks
