Kent Rollins is a legend.
He's still on the green side of the grass, so that makes him "LEGENDARY".
i'm the 100th comment 👍
Beer & Bratwurst👌😋😋
Yes he is.
Theirs something about this guy you just can’t hate him such a good soul
It's true, he has a winning personality. My husband and I love watching him cook.
He's definitely one of the best UA-camrs.
And what completed the video was when Kent did the Hoe Down dance!😆
Love me some Cowboy cooking. I have a question. What is the difference between a hoedown and a hootenanny? Sorry for my spellin
@@tonynead4219 I think a hodown, is like a party with square dancing and a hootenanny is just a party or any other wild activity country folks do. But someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Lol.
I've made this before. My native American grandpa used to call it "indian stir fry."
It's best served on top of a big helping of fluffy rice.
That sounds like good eating
Yup just what I was thinking!
Looks like your Native American heritage places you on the side with all the victorious Native Americans, who were U.S. allies during the War of 1812 and the Creek War. :)
There's nothing quite like the feeling of planting and growing something yourself. My day is always better when I have dirty hands from the garden.
Good eating it is right from the garden
I need to find one of those beer growing plants.
It's right there next to the brat plant. 😉
I enjoy your light hearted approach to living and taking oneself lightly. Not to mention sense and non sense. It's what makes your show so refreshing.
I recently ordered both cookbooks and some original seasoning, the books arrived signed and personalized and Kent even had a handwritten thank you on the invoice.... it was all so personal, I know they are little touches but it felt like they genuinely appreciated the business. Kent and Shannon are two people we can all aspire to be like. God bless you both and I hope you keep making videos for many years to come !!
Never in my life have I seen a disk harrow used this way...ingenious 🤔😆🤣 my grandfather would approve 😎👍👍😎
I am a griddle cooker and have been able to cook most all of your recipes on my griddle. This stir fry will be a breeze on my griddle as I have used about every meat and veggie in the past making stir fries. This will be a first using Bratwurst for a stir fry but I have used Andouille and Smoked sausage many times in my stir fries. I love your videos and the quality of food you prepare. Good down home cooking and I pity the people that don't try some of your recipes. They have no idea what they are missing. Also as a retired military veteran, I thank you for your tribute at the end of your videos.
Always look forward to Wednesdays to get the new video from Cowboy Kent, and love the sign off, God Bless you and yours, and thanking a veteran to keep the flag flying. Proud US Navy Vet here, Thanks for the great videos Kent and Shannon, love all of the ones I've seen Cooked the Shrimp Po'Boys at work for my co-workers today!
Hello Richard how are you doing. I believe you are safe and in good health.
Absolutely loved the Benny Hill music when chopin. Thanks Ken. I follow all your recipes. I'm bringing dessert for the 4th. Ken's pineapple upside down cake in my cast iron skillet.
Yum!! I can almost smell it!! I wish I had a tiller wheel wok!! That'd be so good to do a breakfast scramble too!! He means Garden Medley, not Garden Melody but that's ok. We ALL need some more melody too!! LOVE you guys!!
Hello mom how are you doing. I believe you are safe and in good health.
I love how gentle those dogs are when they take the food, you have them trained well
Good hounds they are
I have never made a Kent and Shannon meal that my family didn't love.......he has helped me find my new love in my life...cooking....
Thanks Pete and hope you are well my friend
Love the industrial strength WOK. Dish looks great. Wish cooking could be the instrument that brings us as nation together. We all need to eat. Breaking bread together; wow what a concept. Love to you and yours. God bless and may God bless our Republic.
Gosh, but I love coming to this site. I come for the food, but I stay for the laughs!! 😂
Beautiful video! I especially love cooking fresh from the garden... it reminds of of sixty-some-odd years ago... my Great Grandfather was a dairy farmer, then already retired, and one of my Great Aunts lived with him... my "Auntie Aggie" as I called her... my Grandmother's Sister... my Auntie Aggie had a vegetable garden; as I said, her father was retired and she was in her late working years, working up to retirement... she and I would go walking on the farm; she would carry a large wicker basket, and we would end up at the garden. The two of us, on our knees... pulling carrots up from the fertile ground... that earthy aroma of he soil, the actual aroma of the vegetables as we picked them: peppers, lettuce, green onions, tomatoes, herbs, and the aforementioned carrots.
I remember, while we were down on our knees, she would pull a couple carrots up from the dirt, wipe them with her apron and give me one... we ate those carrots, still warm, out of the ground from the summer sun. The aroma of that carrot, the flavor, the aroma of the freshly picked vegetables in the wicker basket, now teeming with freshly picked vegetables as we made our way back to the farmhouse to prepare a meal fit for a king... those things are still vivid in my mind today, and I shall never forget them. Rest in peace, Auntie Aggie... I love you.
Would have loved to have met Aunt Aggie
I have one of these "discadas" and they are great to cook with. I was very glad to see the Kent Rollins take on this interesting way of cooking. What a guy. Love the video of the garden.
Thanks Tim for watching
Hi Kent, I first want to thank you for these videos. We bought your latest cook book off Amazon about two weeks ago and read every word in it! I'm 65 years old this August coming and have been cooking and barbequing for a long time but ever since I joined your channel about a couple months ago I find myself seeing how you cooked whatever it is that we are going to have. Thank you for upping our game! Looking forward to learning more "your way" for a long long time! Best regards from Newfoundland Canada, stay safe.
Gary
Glad to help Gary and Thanks for watching
That sounds real good.. Thank you Kent and Shannon for giving us good old fashioned country entertainment.. You guys are a bright spot in my life next to my lovely wife thank again.
Thanks Steve
The wife saw me watching some of your videos and for Father’s Day got me the Kent Rollins Red River Ranch seasoning which I used right away. Thank you Sir and stay safe!
Hope you enjoy and Thanks for watching
A home garden is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life.
I was looking for Frank's Rabbit in the garden! Miss ya' Frank.
Love the giant Wok, Brats, the Beer Plant and, of course, Bennie Hill's theme song. Well done, team Rollins!
Yep Frank kept that Rabbit out of the garden
A few weeks ago I noticed my boyfriend was watching your videos ( he is not the cooker I am) and I was teasing him. He insisted that I give your videos go! I bought the cook book, both spices, the wooden spatula, and the dip packet. We rate a 12 out of 10!
We adore you and your family. Thank you for bringing us joy!
Thank you both so much, and we hope you enjoy
Cowboy Kent Rollins - a sunbeam of sanity on this crazy planet. Thanks Kent and Shannon.!

With the extra squash blossoms you can fry them, they're so tasty

Your a lucky man I wish I had a beer plant LOL.
Absolutely love watching you Kent! You remind me so much of my mother when she use to cook all the time! Due to her being disabled now it warms my heart when I cook her favorites the way you do!

REAL Cowboy cooking. I salute you Kent.
You need an apron that says "About That Much" on it.
Or "the right amount". Both would be perfect.
Agree
😂🤣👍🏼👍🏼
"About that much."
How much?
Just the right amount.
I promise you
@@artistaloca4 Sounds good to me
When you can cut fresh vegetables AND honor Benny Hill.....
I was thinking the same thing, David.
R.I.P Benny Hill 🌷
Yes! I immediately thought of Benny Hill when that music kicked in!
All hail to old blue eyes.
Hello David how are you doing. I believe you are safe and in good health.
"Yakkety Sax", co-composed by James Q. 'Spider' Rich and Boots Randolph. You can have fun with all the Kent Rollins videos. After watching it at normal speed, watch it again at 1.25x speed, turn the volume down for the video, and play Yakkety Sax in the background.
In these troubling times, I count on you to keep things genuine and happy. Food is the one thing that is constant and continuous. You're a good man, and I admire your steadiness and integrity. May God continue to grace you and Shannon with His blessings.
Thank you so much. God bless my friend.

And God bless you as well
Lord-a-Mercy! (Grandma Nettie) This is no doubt a great summer recipe even if we city people have to supplement our gardens with Farmers’ Markets goods so they approach fresh. But I have to remark that the cinematography (videography?) was also outstanding. It was such an amazing background that I thought for sure you were working in front of a green screen. But no, sure enough that Oklahoma red dirt, blue sky and green garden were for real. Kudos to Mrs. Rollins for seeing that almost golden light, growing shadows and using them to such great effect. The 5 of you, including the canine crew and your editor, are a capable bunch. Happy Summer!
Thanks for watching and it was a great day
I always feel so calm and happy watching your videos. Thank you always.
Thanks Cheri
Hey, a German here. I love me some Bratwurst as well 🤤🤭
Yes! Bratwurst is so good.
The fried potatoes reminds me of my Mamaws fresh fried potatoes. They were fried and seasoned just right. Mamaw lived her whole life in Lubbock Texas and her food was so good. I sure miss Mamaw, and I miss going to Texas every summer to see her.
🤠omg they turned Kent into an emoji!!!
Hi Fernando
If your two boys give it a wag, kent my family and myself are in..thanks kent, shan, and the taste testers we tip our hats and appreciate all you do to keep us safe in these trying times. God bless..
He sure has helped me appreciate and take better care of my cast iron skillets and kettles....
Thanks Anna for watching
Dear friends, what a beautiful video! Absolutely loved it. Your colander is old because I have one that belonged to my mom and I’m thinking 50 years old probably bought at the old Rexall drug store. Also think your garden is so neat, nice that you have so many good things planted. One last note my husband just loved the shout out you did for him, showed everyone at work. Thank you so much Kent and Shan and the doggies. You make me smile and what’s better than that.
Jennifer Gearhart
Thank you 👍😃
Yeah the world that we knew just now getting a bit too crazy watching your program gives me peace in my mind

Glad you're enjoying
That is country ingenuity using a disc for a wok. I loved your recipe.
We're growing a crook neck squash for the first time this year. We have lots of flowers on our plant. Hope we get a few squashes for some stir fry soon. 🤞🏻 Let me know where I can find a Bud Select 55 plant. Grandma wants a Coors Light plant of course. 😂
I will keep my eye out

Love it, cookin in a harrow disc, Nothing like it. Wish our garden had your production but this 2022 summer's heat dome, hit hard and literally took out most gardens and everything in it. Thank goodness for farmers markets who used green houses. That beer plant is the best.

Garden fresh stir fry. Excellent. Thanks Kent.
Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing Kent and Shannon. 💯❤️
Thank you kent for helping us stay together
Just the episode I needed. I lived in Thailand for 10 years and learned how to cook almost everything on a wok. I just purchased the Lodge Mini Wok for my only cooking utensil, to use on my motorcycle camping trips. My only challenge is that the mesquite spatula is a little big. I used my sons which he ordered a few weeks ago. I guess I need to order my own and the wittle it down to a smaller size. Unless you guys are going to make a slightly smaller one. All my cast iron skillets are the smaller versions that I use at home and on my motorcycle trips. Thanks again for this wok session. Looking forward to trying the recipe.
Hello good morning how are you doing. I believe you are safe and in good health.
