      I'm really enjoying it so far. Working on the Troglodon now. Don't know if I'll use him but still worth having on hand.

    I picked this box up after watching this video, just finished the banner and I’m loving the converting part of building it

      Doing the conversions is probably one of my favorite parts of this hobby.

    I've watched this a few times (and linked it to a few baby lizards who were having trouble with the written guide) just caught this time that you're in Japan! Makes sense, weather you bought it there or brought it with you, that you're stretching those lizards as far as you can! I hear the hobby is pricey in most of Asia.

      Very! This box starts at about 130 US dollars here. I got mine from an eBay seller so that saved me a bundle.
      I am doing the Mega gargant DIY because it would be way to much to buy here.

    I respect your tutorial. I’m fortunate enough to also have the SC Skinks box, so I’m going to be using Ark of Sotek leftovers to flesh out the astrolith ring instead of a base

    This is so helpful. I'm building my first ever Warhammer army and decided to go with the Seraphon. Thank you so much for these videos!

      I am glad that it helps. The Astrolith bearer is probably the most useful of the models to make.

    This is so helpful! Thank you. I’m going to use this on my new box. Do you still live in Japan? I live in Vietnam and our rainy season has come early and weird this year as well!

    • @brianshobbyspace3569
      @brianshobbyspace3569  2 роки тому +1

      Hello. Yes, I still live in Japan. This year has been really weird. Japan traditionally only gets to 35c for a few days each summer but this year we topped 40 and about a month of 35± days it was crazy. I hope that you enjoy playing seraphon. Are there many people in Vietnam playing AOS?

    • @andrewbarry3931
      @andrewbarry3931 2 роки тому +1

      @@brianshobbyspace3569 I was in London over the summer and it was the same there. Global warming kicking in big time! I actually mainly play 40K and Kill Team but these figures are so awesome that I had to get on it. I live in Ho Chi Minh and there’s a shop there called Lords Wargames. The dude who runs it is a huge AOS player and there’s a fair few people there. If you ever get to visit you should go and see them! I’ll be visiting Japan next Easter. Is there much Warhammer there then?

    • @brianshobbyspace3569
      @brianshobbyspace3569  2 роки тому +1

      No, there isn't much warhammer here. It isn't zero but it is pretty close. I haven't ever seen a gaming shop in Japan but I heard that there is an official GW shop in Tokyo.

    • @andrewbarry3931
      @andrewbarry3931 2 роки тому +1

      Perhaps you should start one then!

    I chose to skip the troglodon when kitbashing from the SC: Seraphon and used the oracles banner and the troglodons collar to make my astrolith.
    I then used the troglodons spit piece to convert one of the extra cold ones into a salamander. So I think the box can actually go farther than the Lustria online tutorial suggests.

    • @brianshobbyspace3569
      @brianshobbyspace3569  3 роки тому

      A free Salamander!? That is an Awesome idea. I think I still have that trog spit piece. I may have to try that out. Thanks.

      You are correct!
      One extra tip (that was not in the original post, but added later in the thread), is to use the snakes from the Saurus Knights Cold Ones base decoration to make a jungle swarm.
