- Get the most from your start collecting Seraphon box set. Let's follow the instructions found on the lustria-online website to take the spare troglodon parts and make a (nearly) completely free Hero Model.
The Seraphon army in Age of Sigmar is one of the coolest looking armies. In this cool Start Collecting box we get enough extra bits for a slew of extra characters. This is the third video in my series of what to do with those extra pieces. Here I'm making a Troglodon with a Skink Priest on his back. It's a cool model. I will be making a follow up video to this one with the finished painted model and some more explanation about the water technique.

Great video, you've done exactly what I did with all my sons seraphon start collecting, but took it one step further great idea casting the body, looks much better than just the head, spine and tail sticking out of the water

Merry Christmas. It is a great box but the knights are a pretty difficult mini to make. Lots of gaps. Good luck and enjoy.

@@brianshobbyspace3569 She is drying right now. I used blue stuff for the mold and got the tail as well so just the feet are not there. I think I used too much toilet paper but my son says it looks fine. :)

Hello, I haven't ever seen that box before. But, by the looks of it I would think you could easily make a skink priest with the extra bastilidon and terradon riders. Also that box has two foot heroes in it so for the newest GHB you would be in a good position. I would make the old blood on carnosaur and bastilidon with solar engine.

Also, if you found this box for a reasonable price then you are one lucky person. Great looking box.

Are you planning a painting video of how you will paint your seraphon?
Yes. I started a video about skinks but stopped... currently planning to show the painting the base water. may do a seperate video about the trog.
Is it possible to take the skink priest on the top ?
Yes, it is.
Is this legal to play in tournaments?
I believe so, yes. As long as you use GW parts and hand make the rest it should be alright. If you use 3D printed pieces or bits of dinosaur toys then I think that wouldn't be admissible. I would ask around at a local store if you have one to double check all this. They would probably have a better understanding of tournaments than I do.
Tamiya cement mixed with old sprues? Did you meld down the sprues or something? How does that become a thing?
The chemicals in the cement actually melt the plastic that sprues and miniatures are made of... so when you use it to `glue` things together they are actually melting and becoming 1 piece.
By mixing some little bits of sprue into the cement it becomes a slurry of melted sprue and cement. When applied to a model the cement portion evaporates leaving behind a smooth plastic filling in the gaps that you used it on.
It really works great.

@@Blackout5871 A long time. I made my current batch back in August 2021 and it's still just fine. Just keep the chair closed tightly.

How did you build your troglodon?
@@brianshobbyspace3569 I did it the intended way with a plains/plateau base, the model itself is mostly white with a blue underscale and spine

@@twigius5690 that sounds like a fun idea. Only problem is that I am not sure what a discord is nor how to make one lol. It's some kind of chatting system? I will check it out.
@@brianshobbyspace3569 yeah it is a chatting/ community communications system. And it is quite a common thing that most the majority of the people online have, I am slightly surprised that you've never heard of it. I'm sure that there are a plentiful number of tutorials on how to set it up, and once you've got into the system it's quite easy to use and is very user friendly
