i recommend to buy these cubes if you have bad ones as these are very cheap and very good: YJ MGC 2x2, RS3M 2020 3x3, YJ MGC 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7.

Just saying these now, these are my times:
3x3 16 sec
4x4 1:05
5x5: 2:10
6x6: 4:30
7x7: 7:00
According to Kevin Hays, your 5x5 times should be about twice as fast as your 6x6 times and 3 times faster than your 7x7 times. I've found this to be the case:
(4x4 times = a)
3x3 = 0.3a
4x4 = a
5x5 = 2a
6x6 = 4a
7x7 = 6a
These are pretty reasonable goals to set for yourself if you're trying to even out those times. It's just a tip for anyone out there who is wondering when to aim for sub-x minutes on higher order NxNs. If your times are slightly higher or lower, don't sweat it. If something is way off, then you'll hopefully know what to practice. (For me it's obviously 7x7 :P .)
Thanks for the info:)
@@leeleecuber No problemo!
What do you average now
@@GiovaniSierra-0 3x3 15 sec
4x4 like 1:02
5x5 2:05
6x6 3:00-3:20
7x7 4:50
Switching to Yau on 7x7 so it's like 6 min rn though
@@mo2cubing Good on the big cubes!!! Though I avg 13 on 3×3 but atleast your better than me at big cubes
you’re absolutely my favorite youcuber to go to for big cube tips, along with JPerm. your videos I consider quite simple and easy to follow just like JPerm, and especially on 7x7 as I never really found a JPerm video specific only towards 7x7. if you can upload again, id really like tips to be sub 4 on 6x6!
Thank you for ur support:) soon vids will be out
For the fill one layer, I fill it with cross edges and solve the cross during edge pairing
What are the main benchmark times for 4x4-7x7. I find it hard to set reasonable goals for times when all the videos I see are well beyond my skill level. Here’s my averages
3x3 22
4x4 1:28
5x5 2:07
6x6 4:30
7x7 6:45
my number one tip is to get faster at 3x3 and then move to big cubes. if u try and get faster at 7x7 with sub 22 on 3x3 u are gunna have a hard time because when you are sub 22 you dont really use look ahead yet. once you are able to use look ahead then you can move to the bigger cubes. hope that helps :D
I personally agree with these tips nice video my friend
Thx, btw what is ur 7x7 average?
@@leeleecuber on a good day I average around sub 4:10 almost sub 4 with redux with yau I average around 4:30
@@gabrielbowman1267 noice my pb is 4:23 lol :)
Guys what’s the current best 7x7?
My 3x3 average is 33s while I average 6:30s on 7x7. I think 3x3 is kinda boring so I never solve them, big cubes are just so much more fun. I always have a 7x7 and 9x9 on my desk at all times, and I keep all my 3x3s in a drawer lmao :)
It’s been 2 days since I got my 7x7 and I love it !
Nowhere near sub 5 tho hahahha.
In general it isn’t’ that hard but the trickiest part for me are the centers tbh.
Solving all the centers with no wasted moves and efficiently is very hard.
Takes lots of practice:)
Very true, great video btw keep up 🔥
@@Nassim-sn4ny thank you
What’s up man, quick update !
Just wanted to let you know that I’ve managed to solve my 7x7 in 8:47:08 min (my first sub 9 🥳🥳🥳).
It’s actually much more fun than I thought !
Slow solves do wonders
@@Nassim-sn4ny lol nice
averaging 17-18 is ok right?
i'm nowhere near sub 5 on 7 though because i only recently got my 7x7 though
should i practice smaller big cubes first, such as 5x5?
Sub 5 on 7x7 isn’t too hard with sub 17-18 but it will take a little more time. And no practiceing smaller cubes like 5x5 is pretty much useless if you want to be good at 7x7. Funny enough the reason I do 7x7 is because it makes you better at 6 and 5. I was sub 2:05 on 5 and when I really started grinding 7x7 the second 5x5 solve I did when I came back was my pb. U got this bro, hope that helps! :)
@@leeleecuberhaha i completely forgot about this comment, thanks for the reply, still havent practiced 7x7 but am gonna practice now 💪
@@ignDart lol
Bruh I can’t even get a sub 10
Practice more
Me too
Me too
Same
My avg are.
3x3 22
4x4 1.05
5x5 2.00
6x6 4.30
7x7 7.00
The different is huge on the big big cubes.
Ps. I started cubing 10months ago
Nice that’s great for 10 months
Not bad for 22 on 3x3 and 105 on 4x4 most ppl would be 200 on 4x4
Thank you so much!:) ❤❤❤
Your welcome :)
I use Yau and I’m averaging 3:40 😎 if you use yau for 4x4, I think that there’s no point in switching to redux since it’ll be easier to just use yau and it’ll be more fun
Ywp
Let's go, finally some one using yau only. Glad I'm not alone
@@dannyhtv2435 lol
@@dannyhtv2435 what do you average? I average 3:30 now lol
@cuber-ray
I just started 10 months ago so not that good yet. But yau is so much fun and very good on edge lookahead 😊
Avg 7min now.
But my best pb ever is 1:37 on 5x5
Yau or reduction?
Lol reduction:)
Yau
@@mirojaakola9703didn’t see this earlier but, redux.
@@leeleecuber Could I use Hoya, or is redux better? Also nice vid!
@@JPDcuber yea it is thx too :)

I think i just gotta practice lol i average like 11.5 on 3x3 and 5:15 on 7x7
Yea just lock in and do some practice solves
@@leeleecuber i practice like all the other non blind fmc events more than 7 so yeah lol
i love your voice
Lol
@@leeleecuber also nice video lol, ima start practicing 7x7 i average like 20 minutes with it so
@@ThatRandomCuber lol thx and good luck :)
My average in 3x3 is 11 seconds
But in 5x5 is 2:00 minutes
In 7x7 is 6:00 minutes
😢
I used to be just like u bro, big cubes are not just big in size but they also take a big effort and a longer time to get good at. Keep practicing consistently and have patience and you will get better :)
@@leeleecuber omg thank you, I will keep improving 🙌🏻
@@diego7909 I know u will bro :)
i’m not sub 10 minutes on 6x6
Rip
Lmao I don’t know why I watch these I’m sub 3:50 and I use yau lmao idk
Lol
Me not even sub 6 on 6x6
Lol
