    Just saying these now, these are my times:
    3x3 16 sec
    4x4 1:05
    5x5: 2:10
    6x6: 4:30
    7x7: 7:00
    According to Kevin Hays, your 5x5 times should be about twice as fast as your 6x6 times and 3 times faster than your 7x7 times. I've found this to be the case:
    (4x4 times = a)
    3x3 = 0.3a
    4x4 = a
    5x5 = 2a
    6x6 = 4a
    7x7 = 6a
    These are pretty reasonable goals to set for yourself if you're trying to even out those times. It's just a tip for anyone out there who is wondering when to aim for sub-x minutes on higher order NxNs. If your times are slightly higher or lower, don't sweat it. If something is way off, then you'll hopefully know what to practice. (For me it's obviously 7x7 :P .)

    you’re absolutely my favorite youcuber to go to for big cube tips, along with JPerm. your videos I consider quite simple and easy to follow just like JPerm, and especially on 7x7 as I never really found a JPerm video specific only towards 7x7. if you can upload again, id really like tips to be sub 4 on 6x6!

    What are the main benchmark times for 4x4-7x7. I find it hard to set reasonable goals for times when all the videos I see are well beyond my skill level. Here’s my averages
    3x3 22
    4x4 1:28
    5x5 2:07
    6x6 4:30
    7x7 6:45

      my number one tip is to get faster at 3x3 and then move to big cubes. if u try and get faster at 7x7 with sub 22 on 3x3 u are gunna have a hard time because when you are sub 22 you dont really use look ahead yet. once you are able to use look ahead then you can move to the bigger cubes. hope that helps :D

    My 3x3 average is 33s while I average 6:30s on 7x7. I think 3x3 is kinda boring so I never solve them, big cubes are just so much more fun. I always have a 7x7 and 9x9 on my desk at all times, and I keep all my 3x3s in a drawer lmao :)

    It’s been 2 days since I got my 7x7 and I love it !
    Nowhere near sub 5 tho hahahha.
    In general it isn’t’ that hard but the trickiest part for me are the centers tbh.
    Solving all the centers with no wasted moves and efficiently is very hard.

    averaging 17-18 is ok right?
    i'm nowhere near sub 5 on 7 though because i only recently got my 7x7 though
    should i practice smaller big cubes first, such as 5x5?

    • @leeleecuber
      @leeleecuber  2 роки тому +1

      Sub 5 on 7x7 isn’t too hard with sub 17-18 but it will take a little more time. And no practiceing smaller cubes like 5x5 is pretty much useless if you want to be good at 7x7. Funny enough the reason I do 7x7 is because it makes you better at 6 and 5. I was sub 2:05 on 5 and when I really started grinding 7x7 the second 5x5 solve I did when I came back was my pb. U got this bro, hope that helps! :)
