I was in such a rush that I forgot to add a joke to the credits 🤦
Tymon's pseudoslotting skill reminds me I'm only pseudogood at cubing.
First reply let’s go
amazing
wait you put jokes in the credits
hey its fine, I love it, its funny
I always use edge oreintation from the start I learned f2l now it's so easy to do pseudoslot with eo.. Some say it's unnecessary but no
And it was yesterday when I was wondering staring at my roof when will I be able to learn pseudoslotting and how will I get those spicyyyy Tymon moments and NOW JPERM LEGIT MADE A VIDEO ON IT!!!!! You know what Dylan sir? I just want to take a minute to thank you. It was teacher's day 10 days ago in India and I forgot to wish you and now I find myself here. ALL MY SPEEDCUBING SKILLS have come from you. I remember not getting below a minute and now I a avg 15 seconds. You are a TRUE God's creation! Love from India
Haha thank you! I was specifically reading your mind when I made this video.
As some one who already was fairly confident with all the examples show in this video I am impressed how well and simply he laid it out I feel like it would have been accessible to me even when I was averaging mid 30s if I had watched this video
@@JPerm well now I am waiting for the "How to read minds: Beginner's tutorial". LOL
Earlier today I somehow pseudo slotted on accident (I was inserting a corner to solve a pair) and I was shocked so, it can happen randomly.
Bruh I didn't even know what pseudo slotting was😂😂😂
Thanks for always explaining things in a way that won't make my head hurt (makes me save on painkillers). And yes, Multislotting with Keyhole doesn't sound nearly as magical as Pseudoslotting. PS: My only criticism is that there wasn't a joke at the end of the video so this only gets a 9.9999/10.
Sometimes you gotta dispel the magic, and sometimes you gotta make it sound more magical. Clearly I should stick to teaching and not naming 😅
Try being smarter
@@JPerm Lol, sounds about right. And thanks for adding a joke. Now the world is back in order and I can give you the usual 10/10.
close enough :D

I've always loved how high the skill ceiling for f2l is. It's just so cool seeing how advanced these techniques can get, and I always find it so satisfying when I try something a bit more creative and it somehow works.
I love how informative you always are. Thank you for these guides.
i’m here for the flawless transition between your two f2l cases using slice moves. you truly are the greatest; mostly for your teaching skills
Pseudoslotting is quite amazing! Slowly working on incorporating it into my solves. This helped a lot!
As much as your unboxing videos and your theory videos are great,
It's great to see a solving advice video. It's just awesome. Great job as always!
Man Jperm, you make the best cubing videos, is nice to see your channel still growing after 6 years 👍 keep up the good work 😉
Dang, dude. I've been a casual solver for many years, and this really helped me make a breakthrough with my average times. Thanks for making such a comprehensive guide!
Thank you for sharing such amazing tutorials, benefit a lot🤩
Jperm has release a tutorial and i cant wait to watch it!!!U are one of the youcubers who helps others to improve cubing and get into cubing! Thanks Jperm❤️
Cubing is underrated
Finally I’ve been waiting for a vid on This for a while!
Thx for a great video!! Before i noticed you, it was hard finding understandable totorials, and this is just helping so much 👏
Wow another amazing tutorial. The examples on when to use pseudoslotting is really useful!
Started off with my two least favorite F2L cases. Thank you so much, I will be learning this.
Finally! Jperm is back with his amazing tutorials
I have just looked at your channel again and this is the first tutorial in last 5 months, this motivated me to get into cubing again thank you so much
Hey Jperm, would you ever consider making a video about Turning style? People throw this term around a lot, but no one really goes in-depth. It'd be really cool if you could delve into the elements of a turning style, how to figure out what your turning style is, and maybe what the "ideal" turning style is/styles are, or just how to make one's turning style better.
Thank you joerm for teaching me how to solve a Rubik's cube and putting me on the path of becoming a speedcuber
Joerm?😂

Posted this exactly when I needed it. Loving this.
the eo recognition actually helped alot with me recognizing psuedo cases faster. tysm!!
Always wanted to know more about Pseudoslotting.
Thanks J Perm!
When I had first learned of keyhole from you I actually experimented with this quite a bit, but I just thought that my center intuition just wasn't good enough to make good use of it, mainly due to the fact of being colorblind. Cool to see a video on it!
Do you use special color schemes to make up for being colorblind?
@@troliskimosko I don't simply because I prefer stickerless Gan cubes. I tried looking for good cubes that were stickerless and had an alternative color scheme, but I couldn't find any. Maybe I didn't search hard enough...
@@Zdog696A bit late, but you might consider dying piece caps with Rit dye or something similar. There are plenty of colors, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to make a color scheme that you can recognize.
I've been learning advanced F2L from beginner method F2L. I have many of your F2L videos up on my computer browser in open tabs for quick reference, including your multislotting video. I've been practicing keyholing a lot. It's helped me lower my times (set a new PB of 47.771 last night). F2L is really hard, but each day I get a little better at recognizing pairs. Having an understanding from the beginning of what pseudoslotting and keyholing are I think has really helped me to start to learn to recognize instances when those are going to help me quickly grab a pair or two without a lot more moves.
sup whats your average now?
@@sebyuzutei9721 23s is my current PB, average is around 29 :)
@@Giftig--Daniel-P oh wow you improved. My pb is 32.4 and i average about 42🙂
@@dr.nishiddhagupta5510 it's now 20 s :)
@@Giftig--Daniel-P how?
I just searched for that and that vid showed. Thank you jperm. Your videos are always helpful
I just learned abouth keyholing yesterday, now you posted this, awesome!
I remember being speechless when I saw this method as a beginner, like it was so simple yet so difficult at the same time lol.
Pseudoslotting is all fun, but the most useful thing you explained here is EO recognition. The rule of good and bad edges is not that commonly known, while I think it is something that every beginner should know from the very beginning of learning F2L, it's just such a simple way to improve your recognition and avoid rotations
True EO recog is pretty much the most important thing in f2l to know which pairs to do first
Meanwhile me watching from the land of ZZ
this is so cool! definitely gonna try to incorporate this into my solves
so nice to have a new tutorial-like video ! (I also like the challenges you do, don't stop :) This video will be very helpful for me !
POV : You haven't touch a cube in your entire life.
i was thinking of starting doing (so many Ing's) pseudoslotting when I used to average 14 but so many people told me that it was a waste of time and wouldn't make me any faster, perhaps do me slower, now i average about under 13 and I've gotten so many good solves because of using this pseudo technique. thank you J perm for making this more accessible for cubers all around the world
amazing video, love the 2 forcible examples
Thanks J Perm! I'm trying to get faster at the F2L stage and this video really helps. I still need to practice though
I bought the 3x3 cube from the Rubik's cube brand for 15€. It doesn't align itself because it doesn't have magnets and it's getting harder and harder to turn with the time. I average 58secs with this one. Should I invest on a new one or no?
Yes
I remember hearing about this way back in 2012 and thinking it was nearly impossible to actually do in solves. Crazy to think about how far it's come since then
Waited so long for this video
Love you Jperm
Thank you so much, I’ve been stuck at 19ish seconds for a while now and never thought about eo and the full extent on pseudoslotting
Love the videos man!
Doing my first WCA competition next month. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Basically don't want to completely embarrass myself 😂
My best is 14.55 but my average can be as high as 45. I use beginner CFOP mainly. However, if I see something way ahead of time. I occasionally use beginner algorithms.
Convince me I'll have fun no matter what! Lol.
Appreciate all the great content!
What do you avg now?
@@yociroc haven't been as actively practicing for the last month or so because I'm moving and working on getting a new job. However, sub 30 is pretty common for me now. I still haven't learned full OLL or PLL. I know a couple 2 look cases for both that seem to come up very often for me. That's when I'm hitting the teens usually.
@@michallarge nice man! Keep practicing. Learning oll nd pll wasn’t fun for me but it’s so worth it. Even if you only learn one a day since time is going to pass regardless, that’s how I see it.
@@yociroc thank you. The advice is also much appreciated! My goal is to be sub 10 by the end of summer and learning a case a day definitely sounds like a good approach.
Am I the only one who is waiting for the video: “Is a 88$ Gan 13 MagLev worth it”
I have 1 uv version😅
No the tornado cubes are much better and half the price .
great video keep on with the great work!!
This is why i love your channel
What if a person uses zz to make all the edges good, after that doing f2l and zbll for ll (you can also avoid cube rotations during f2l)
Even better pseudoslotting makes zz more worth it as the EO recognition is removed. I used it in a 6.9 zz single so I think it’s worth it
If you use ZZ, definitely learn pslotting. the chance of a good case is higher!
@@JPerm I don't use zz but I think the concept is really good because for
LL we can use only one alg (ZBLL) for f2l pseudoslotting without EO, the only hard thing is predicting the cross and the first pair in inspection because you have to predict the EO before the cross.
thank you for all your videos they are very helpful
really amazing video! i have always wanted to pseudoslot. I hope i can learn it and aplly them in my solves 😅
Thank you for cautioning against wrong pairing - I was about to go down that path and now it will be one less bad habit I won't have to unlearn!
Always amazed at the different and evolving techniques in speedcubing. As much as I'd love to be able to get sub-1-minute times on a 3x3, I just don't have the mental capacity and dexterity for it. Instead, I entertain myself with larger and 'more difficult' cubes, my current favourite being the pentaminx (though i'm looking for a higher-order one now).
Another amazing video 💯💯
wow your videos are truly amazing and informative. i started 4 months ago from your channel with 1 min av still learning from your channel even after im sub 30 and will learn till i get a sub 10!!!!!!! Love your content
Great job ,over my head right now
Awesome vid
As always.
This is amazing. I almost feel my eyes tear up out of amazement.
Ty so much jonathan permutation
Really mind opening, thanks for sharing.
If I wasn’t this tired I’d totally understand this thank you for making this graspable !
I have never heard of pseudoslotting
But it did help with my F2L
Thanks J Perm!!!
YESS I WAS WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO

Thanks JPerm a lot. I get these annoying cases so I wanted to get faster at F2L.
Thanks, J perm! :) great tutorial as always, but only complaint was that there was no joke at the end
