@@jte360 Very rarely have a problem, I happily stride over just mopped wet ceramic tiled floors without even slowing, slow slightly when it's oil but even then it's mostly out of caution than necessity. 99% of all the times I've slipped when wearing them have been when I stand on a small piece of food that's fallen on the floor and that can give me the occasional slide

Tried out a few different boots and changed to Redbacks and I will never go back! Most comfortable of them all and last twice as long as Blundstones. I wear them all day seven days a week

I wanna let people know, your feet may make the decision for you, even over country and materials. I started with the Red Back Great Barrier boot, and while I loved it abstractly as a boot, it didn't work for my foot. It turned out the Blundstone 550 did. Wasn't my first choice on paper, but I'm much happier. It really pays to try things on.
I've been wearing Redbacks for ten years now, the comfort was a revelation for me after previously wearing Blundstones which back in the day had no arch support.
One I haven't heard much of but have gotten a lot of wear out of is Thursdays Cavalier Suede (grey). Very easy to dress up or down to wear to the office, on a date, or casually on a weekend.
@@awiegwa they are pretty wide, I wear a 12 normally, 11.5 in red wing boots, and my 12 Jim Green Chelsea (and the desert boots, have a few of theirs, my favorite shoe for work) fit perfectly. I did take the insoles out and swap with super feet, but the most recent pair I got actually had a super feet plastic support built into the leather insoles, pretty neat
Ive got the Jim Greens but in the dark brown leather. Best boot I've ever owned, they're super comfortable after break in period (a week or two) and look great in my opinion. I work long shifts in hospitality roughly 15,000 steps per shift and my feet never get sore like they do even in sneakers. the wide toe box lets your foot splay out so you don't get any un wanted pressure points. I put a thin leather insole inside that's now molded to my foot but that was more to take up a bit of space then to add comfort. I think its done both. I will say the yellow calf skin lining does leach into your socks for the first few months so don't wear white socks if you want them to stay white. I would definitely recommend Jim Green Stockmans!
I am a hairstylist, and I love Chelsea boots. No laces in the high cut prevent hair from sticking and getting in your shoes. Super easy to clean and comfortable to wear. I recommend for hairstylist and barbers
No question here just wanted to say the work you do is incredible and I truly appreciate your videos and the information you always provide! Keep up the amazing work!!
GS Chelseas were the only GS boots I have to get rid of - should have sized down because I'm 10e but a 9.5ee just has too much slop. For whatever reason, their other styles come in e but the Chelsea's were ee only.
My Austrian ex bought a pair of Williams boots 30 years ago and they are still going strong. She loves them. ( yes Austrian not Australian. She's from Vienna)
I work in construction up and down ladders, scaffolds, tight spaces, etc. You name it, I do it. For years, I was a die hard lace up work boot guy. Chippewa, red wing, etc. I saw your review for the Redback, and it changed my life. They are on my foot, ready to go a lot quicker, which is a big plus in the morning trying to get out the door. But the biggest thing is comfort. My feet no longer hurt from working all day. The Redbacks are extremely comfortable. Maybe not as durable in the long run, but they are half the price and a lot more comfortable. This will be my go-to boot going forward
I've used the Redback Chelsea's for 1 year now landscaping. I've drenched them in heavy rain and beat them up and they are holding up great. My foot has never been in discomfort wearing those
Got my Redback Boots for two years now and the hold up amazingly good so far. Soles are solid still, leather obviously is not even phased yet and the midsole still got squish for days. It also does not have a counter cover but rather the full leather thickness as the counter is external not giving you a hotspot at the edge of the counter cover.
27 Years ago an Australian girlfriend of mine convinced me to buy a pair of RM Williams ‘Gardener’.. wider than their regular semi dress boots.. oiled or waxed leather.. I haven’t worn them super regularly, but.. I’ve still got em’. I’ve had inner heel relined in new leather as it wore through, and the sole has cracked slightly.. I think a fresh sole after 30 years might be in order.. I’m not sure that I have another 30 years in me, so I suspect they’ll out live me.
As an Australian with narrow long feet and a high arch, I've been working in timber mills for 23 years, farming and timber (lumber) sales for many more. No one I know willingly wears Blundstone any more, over priced and uncomfortable. Currently wearing Rebacks, prefer Rossi Hercules for foot shape, wear, support and comfort but you have to go a size up and are hard to find. Most blokes I know wear Redback, Mongrel, Steel Blue or Oliver. I bought a pair of Jim Green, they're so wide they are ridiculous on me, I lost one stepping in a mud puddle, the suction just pulled it off my foot. Funny but the leather around the toe box cut up on the first day and the gore on one boot lost it's structure after a week, a lot of you blokes love them but I could only recommend them for looks on the wide of foot.
IMO after Blundstone moved their production facilities to Vietnam, they were never the same. The soles on my last pair started to disintegrate after 6 months. Thankfully at the time Blundstone sent a replacement at no cost to me. Nice to know they still stand by their boots, although my vintage pair that was made in Australia lasted years.
I honestly think he made this video because I kept telling him to review RM Williams especially since it’s our parade boot and our ceremonial dress wear boot in the Army
I am currently working in Redbacks. Really comfortable once you get used to the "loose ankle" feeling compared to a laced boot. I only wish the Redbacks had more protection on top of the safety toe. After 5 months or so, the leather took a lot of damage. The Rossi Hercules has that extra protection, but it's no available in Canada.
Check out the Redback Sentinel HD. They’re lace and zip-up, so no loose ankle, with a rubber toe cap to protect it from wear. I’ve had mine for a year and a half and combined with the Redback leather insole I haven’t found a better boot

Love my Danner bullrun Chelsea's. They're my everything boot, I travel in them, they look good with jeans or even shorts. Can't beat the ease of slipping them on and off when getting in and out of the tent while camping. Solid all around pair 🤙
I love Chelsea boots, I am also a big blundstone fan, although the fabric lining and insoles kinda suck. Hands down the Viberg ones are my absolute favorite
Great video- I wear Blundstones on a daily basis simply because that's what I bought at REI and I didn't know anything else. They've held up great for year and my wife ended up buying a couple of pairs. However my next purchase will probably be Redbacks- its what most of the local firefighters use a station boots and they seem to hold up pretty well.
I've got a pair of the Danner Chelsea boots for my commercial pipefitting work. They've been holding up great, and have lasted better than my old Red Wings, or just as long as my old Thorogoods.
I bought redbacks after blundstones. I work on concrete flat floors. The big difference between them is the redbacks are very high and have crazy arch support. It is so uncomfortable and over the top but if that's what you want go for it. The blunstones are easier to walk in and feel a lot more normal but I would prefer flat Chelsea boots.
I love a work Chelsea- especially if it looks a little cleaner. I’ll know it’s not a MITUSA contender but Tecovas do a Chelsea called the Luke- and honestly everything I’ve come to learn about leather and boots from this channel have showed me that those should definitely be on this list; GYW, Vibram Christy Outsole, leather midsole, I believe a leather insole and EVA footbed, Calfskin liner- and tons of sizing options too. They may not be the prettiest, or have leather shank/ counter but right now to be available for $170, and usually $250 or so I believe they are certainly a contender to the red wings. I still reckon that they punch above their weight. I’d love to see you chop one in half and hear you scrutinize its quality!
The Romeos kind of give me a 70s platform shoes kind of vibe when I look a them. Accepting that Clark Griswold would wear when he's like working in the yard or something
Blundstone 500 great chuck on knock about casual boot. Single leather means cool in summer / worn at festivals / out on bike / good waterproofing. I have full leather lined boots (cheaney) which feel great but tend to be warmer. For ease of wear - love my 500's. Buff up ok, I'm super happy with the leather on them. Cost per wear - great!
Missing a good one in here. The Beckett Simonon Bolton Chelsea. I'm a huge fan. They take a long time because they're made in small batches, but if you get them on their (very frequent) sale price of $180, it's insane value for the money. I'm a lawyer in NYC, so I'm frequently around people wearing $1500 Italian dress shoes, and they compliment my Chelsea boots.
I have had my pair of Danner bull run Chelsea for 1 1/2 year and just got them resole done on them . I picked a fresh new pair up for kicking around town Awesome work boots if you’re in and out of customers homes.
You need to cut some Thorogood Chelsea's in half. I was wearing the Ariat US made carbon toe and wasn't happy with the comfort, but the Thorogood are great. I do plan to try the Redback when these get long in the tooth.
I have a love hate relation with my Redbacks, which I bought after seeing several of your Chelsea videos. They don't offer widths (or I don't see them) and I'm a EE in Nicks, E in sneakers, and the Redbacks were nightmares to "break in." Which if you look at my boots closely you see I've essentially cause the leather to flare out to the sides as my foot is just too wide for them. Now they do feel mostly comfortable, I can wear them most days, but others I just can't. I noticed Jim Green doesn't have widths either, but I have a pair of their Vellie's that fit well so I'd consider them. Obviously I could just go with Nicks, I know my size in them, but I'm not sure I want to put that much money into a pair of Chelsea's right now. I hope Redback starts offering some wider options though. The boots, and the leather seemed fine other than that and I like how they look.
I just bought a pair of redwing weekender Chelsea Boots, not mentioned in this video but really nice boots, I've been wearing all kinds of blundstones for over 12 years now and these Redwings take them. Plus, you can dress them up. Great video!
I've been looking at Chelsea boots too as an everyday smart casual wear item. The thing that has often put me off is over if the elastic gusset can ever be replaced since they always seem to look at me as a potential failure point. The annoying thing I've had footwear buying though is how inconsistent a fit I get, not helped by wide feet. Not helped by half-sizes not being easily found on shelves in my size
Would really like to see you cut that Jim Green chelsea in half. I think if they made that thing with a proper wedge sole like the africa ranger boot, it'd be the proper Blundstone killer in terms of price. I'd also love to see you do the Grant Stone Chelsea in Dark Oak Roughout or that new Jim Green Baobab boot.
I had high hopes for the Redbacks after watching the review on here. However, when I got mine, the rubber soles were trimmed 'enthusiastically' cutting into the leather by some considerable amount. I sent them back, and they replaced them with another pair which had exactly the same issue. I sold them on eBay at a loss.
I have a pair of stockmans from Jim Green. They're super comfortable and roomy. I'm able to put my superfeet inside with plenty of room. I highly recommend this company.
I have a pair of Caterpillar chelsea boots this a "sample not for sale" that I got from a discount shop 20 years ago. They look great, the 360 Goodyear welt seems legit and not fake, the are kinda dressy but with strong and durable rubber outsoles so you can dress them up or down, unfortunately between shoes, sneakers and boots they do not have much wear, the good thing is they still look like new.
Appreciate the video! Wish you added the Solovair Dealer boot though! Those are handmade in England with a Goodyear welt and for around $200. Would have been perfect for this video as I think they are a top contender. Any thoughts on those?
Redback boots - Bonsall model - over 4 yrs of every day use. The leather is more comfortable now than ever. The soles are cupping and will ultimately be the cause of replacement. But 4 straight years !
People were resoling Romeos, new, back when Fred Meyer's (Oregon department store chain) had cobblers in some locations it was easy to just buy a pair then walk over and drop them off to get a legit Vibram classic waffle or something put on it. Really nice camping slippers.
Danner bull run Chelsea all the way for me! Or I wear the 8 inch bullrun round toe. love Danner boots. I’ve tried a lot of boots for work and Danner fit my feet perfectly
Does Nick's ever make a boot with a low heel? All I have seen on your channel have higher heels. I have two Jim Green's Chelsea. I like the wedge sole for around the house and yard. For rougher ground, I like the lug sole. In the hot summer, I usually go barefoot around the house and yard.
I work in a duracell plant making AA cans and have bought 3 pairs (one a year) of the ariat turbos and they are worth the it. We get almost enough boot credit each year to cover the cost completely, which is part of why I get them. I’ll say my first pair are falling apart but it’s the sole material itself none of the seams have ripped on any of them. Mainly needs better insoles imo, I’m not a huge fan of the ones it comes with.
The RM's are a boardroom boot in Aus. It seems a strange choice at first around the office but everyone knows that they're not cheap and they let you pretend to be down to earth.
For dress, I really love Beckett Simonon, Grant Stone, and Adelante. I agree that Redback is amazingly comfortable and well made. Consider Solovair Dealer boots for a cool Blundstone alternative. Do Blundstones have shanks? I had a pair a while ago and they hurt my feet after about a year.
I have a medium width foot, the Blundstones squashed my toes whilst Rossi boots fit perfectly from day one. I'd like to see a Rossi 'Endura' breakdown when you have the chance,
I wear Georgia Romeo's 5 days a week, for me they're the shoes I wear until I put my caulks on and after I take them off at work. They need to be cheap and fairly durable in case we have a breakdown but are still doing something that doesn't necessarily require caulks. I wanted to try nicks Chelsea but I just can't bring myself to pay 500$ for that, even Wesco has crummies for 250$.
I work an office job, but my Georgia Romeo's (low top) are my everyday work shoe. I got them around a year and a half ago on special for $88 thanks to being on sale in my size and a Rose Anvil code! Still by far the most comfortable shoes I have. I doubt they would hold up to rigorous job conditions, but for an every day shoe with no other requirements, it's a great purchase!
The design of the Nicks was quite interesting. Looks like it was cut down the side with the goring in what I can only call a three quarter frame of leather so it could be easily cut out and replaced. Hope I saw that right and if so super cool.
It would be appreciated if you would include Tatra brand work boots, made in Ontario Canada. Very high quality work boots and not all of your viewers live in the U.S. so it would be great to see other high quality options, like Tatra. Thanks for your work and great information. Keep up the good work!
Keen for you to cut up more RMs, hopefully some different styles and leathers - don't forget you can get ones with round or wide toe boxes! As an Aussie I want to buy Australian made work boots, and at the moment I've been wearing Mongrel boots. Nice wide toe box and awesome arch support - both the zip sider and the chelsea. Hope you get a pair soon to pull apart
I use my Chelseas for work. I've only had 2 pair so far. I got the Ariats with a work allowance program, They seemed built well enough but like he says in the beginning(generally speaking), fit was an issue. The Ariat isn't for you if you have a high instep. I struggled for months hoping they'd break in over the top of my foot. Didn't happen. I was in the bay area at the time and Palo Alto has one of 2 Keen stores. I tried their safety toe chelsea on and fell in love. Perfect right out of the box. A liberal oiling and they were basically broken in right out of the box. The sole did get a little more pliable in a week or so but they were never super stiff. So if you have wider feet but not so wide you need EEE and have a high instep. I would point you to Keens. Got a couple years in em, holding up great.
Wild to randomly see my favorite Thrice shirt in a UA-cam video. 😂 Love my Blundstones for just kicking around on a rainy day. But my favorite chelsea boots are my Allen Edmonds Liverpools. That calfskin is so comfy
How should you size red backs so you don’t get heel slippage I am a size 10 1/2 in Normal shoes and 10 in work boots. What size should I get in US for red backs to prevent heel slippage?
Go with size US 10 in Redbacks if you're a US 10.5 medium in sneakers. If you're in a wide, get the US 10.5; Redback treat their half sizes as wides. I hope this answered your question and happy hunting!
What about Redbacks vs Jim Green? I found my Blundstones to be super comfy unless I was standing for more than an hour. Wore them to a concert and my feet were screaming at me.
I've worn a set of blundstones for 13 years now, and they have treated me pretty well. A work set barely lasted a year at a dealership before the tire machine ate the toes. Just picked up a set of Redwing chelsea boots with toe caps. They're built like tanks but are noticeably more uncomfortable than my last conventional set of Redwing work boots, for comparison.
I'm based in Australia and absolutely love my blundstones. Looking at getting a dressier boot for work and want to support asutralian market. Could you look at something from wooten boots or Rossi boots! Love the content mate
You guys sure pay a huge markup on Blundstone in the US. Here in Australia they are no more than $150AUD, cheaper from workwear stores. Looks like you have the old model too. Upside is they are great boots and once broken in, fit like s glove.
First of all, thank you for the amazing videos on all the channels, and I have a request for you: the Brazilian Brand Louie, they started making shoes but they also have some great looking boots. Would love for you to review them !
I buy a pair of mongrel work Chelsea boots for like $100 shipping included from Australia. They last 2 years or so. Nothing in the USA beats that. And they are big and wide enough to fit any orthotics you might have.
Seems in the boot world almost everyone sleeps on Adelante. They have a huge size and width range across all of their products and make a really great chelsea, I think the model name is Mendoza. Goodyear welted, steel shank, leather is good quality, and priced under $300. Super comfortable chelsea that looks great, definitely not work wearable, designed as a casual shoe but very well made, and the price is good for what you get. I’ve got 3 different styles from them and they’re all excellent.
I wanted to like redback and blundstone but their british sizing meant I was in between the sizes they manufacture. I'm 11.5 E on brannock but their half sizes are just a wider version of the size below. The arch ended up being too far back so my actual arch ended up hanging over nothing causing a bunch of foot pain. I definitely need to check out the ariats and jim greens
Can youget your by hands on some Mongrels, eager to see what you make of them, ivegot 3 pairs of redback dealer ( cheasea😂) boots and love them bar the wear on the sole. I've got a pair of Mongrels in wheat suede and they're great andseem to have a more durable sole to the redback

I sure Jim Green modeled thier company on Rossi boots
I am a hairstylist, and I love Chelsea boots. No laces in the high cut prevent hair from sticking and getting in your shoes. Super easy to clean and comfortable to wear. I recommend for hairstylist and barbers
No question here just wanted to say the work you do is incredible and I truly appreciate your videos and the information you always provide! Keep up the amazing work!!
Thanks dude
Would love to see a Grant Stone Chelsea split
^^ This - GS allows you to go rugged or dressy with leather/sole selection. And I love mine.
Same
GS Chelseas were the only GS boots I have to get rid of - should have sized down because I'm 10e but a 9.5ee just has too much slop. For whatever reason, their other styles come in e but the Chelsea's were ee only.
I got the Redbacks steel toe. They are actually pretty comfortable. I walk on concrete 12 hours a day.
My Austrian ex bought a pair of Williams boots 30 years ago and they are still going strong. She loves them. ( yes Austrian not Australian. She's from Vienna)
love it that you clarified that
I work in construction up and down ladders, scaffolds, tight spaces, etc.
Love driving around town and seeing all the boot makers here in Spokompton
I've used the Redback Chelsea's for 1 year now landscaping. I've drenched them in heavy rain and beat them up and they are holding up great. My foot has never been in discomfort wearing those
I'm a Rebback man. Going to give the Jim Greens a shot next.
Redbacks are top tier
27 Years ago an Australian girlfriend of mine convinced me to buy a pair of RM Williams ‘Gardener’.. wider than their regular semi dress boots.. oiled or waxed leather.. I haven’t worn them super regularly, but.. I’ve still got em’. I’ve had inner heel relined in new leather as it wore through, and the sole has cracked slightly.. I think a fresh sole after 30 years might be in order.. I’m not sure that I have another 30 years in me, so I suspect they’ll out live me.
RM Williams looks like a great boot…Might have to get a pair.
Redback all the way for me👍
That's really strange that your Greens fell apart like that. My Razorbacks have been absolutely bomb proof so far. Maybe you just got a lemon?
Where are you?@@kottomack
I hope they're just a lemon, everything taken into account though I could neither buy again nor recommend them as work boots.@@Arto257 🤐
Rossi 900 parks
IMO after Blundstone moved their production facilities to Vietnam, they were never the same. The soles on my last pair started to disintegrate after 6 months. Thankfully at the time Blundstone sent a replacement at no cost to me. Nice to know they still stand by their boots, although my vintage pair that was made in Australia lasted years.
Rossi boots you should try better quality and mulgas, 666, ripples are famous
R M Williams is king of the Chelsea's. Totally not biased as an Australian
They’re great except they’re $700 and need Chinese girl narrow feet
I honestly think he made this video because I kept telling him to review RM Williams especially since it’s our parade boot and our ceremonial dress wear boot in the Army
@11202 rms was one of his earliest videos he did, hes also done one comparing them to some ariats i think.
Rossi’s are better…
@@victorvannatter312Tambo fitting by RM Williams is EEE
I am currently working in Redbacks. Really comfortable once you get used to the "loose ankle" feeling compared to a laced boot. I only wish the Redbacks had more protection on top of the safety toe. After 5 months or so, the leather took a lot of damage. The Rossi Hercules has that extra protection, but it's no available in Canada.
Check out the Redback Sentinel HD. They’re lace and zip-up, so no loose ankle, with a rubber toe cap to protect it from wear. I’ve had mine for a year and a half and combined with the Redback leather insole I haven’t found a better boot
How are they are on ice, if you wear them in the winter?
The Rose Anvil 30% off Scratch & Dent Sale is live now while supplies last, so get a belt, wallet, or camera harness while we have stock - bit.ly/3pgTw4Z
I have RedBacks and Blundstones and Redbacks are way more comfortable!!
RM Williams are a whole cut boot unlike the Tecova, probably adds to the cost. You’ve sold me on the redbacks great video
Just FYI the Redbacks are wide - in that every half size is wider rather than getting longer. I wear a eee and redbacks for me fine.
I couldn’t agree more. Beckett Simonon is highly underrated.
Yeah they make good boots. Definitely more dress oriented
Wow, all of those boots are awesome. Not the market I'm in though, sadly. I need something rugged.
Ive been wearing JimGreens ”town and country” boot for a year. They have been very durable and comfortable. I would love to see them cut in half
I have had my pair of Danner bull run Chelsea for 1 1/2 year and just got them resole done on them . I picked a fresh new pair up for kicking around town Awesome work boots if you’re in and out of customers homes.
I’d love to try the Jim Greens with the wider toe box but they’re men’s only. Maybe one day they’ll carry women’s
Cobblers can fix the goring for pretty cheap
Love my duck feet! Couldn’t recommend enough, the Roskilde
Dang that sucks Paul!
I bought a pair of solovair Chelsea boots last year. They are very comfortable and great looking boot.
Replaced my Doc Martens with Redbacks and love them, thanks from England.
If you're familiar with Bull Run lace ups and find them to run narrow as I do that's not the case with the Chelsea they feel wider.
Danner bull run Chelsea all the way for me! Or I wear the 8 inch bullrun round toe. love Danner boots.
I’ve tried a lot of boots for work and Danner fit my feet perfectly
Wish you did a cobbler union one would have loved to see theirs in this. I did like the video lots of good info
Comfort Craftsman are actually still used for their original purpose which are riding boots for people who work on cattle stations
Blundstone boots lasted 8 years almost intact worn 8 mths a year. Sadly the foam injection deteriorated overnight
Realestate agent or politician
For dress, I really love Beckett Simonon, Grant Stone, and Adelante. I agree that Redback is amazingly comfortable and well made. Consider Solovair Dealer boots for a cool Blundstone alternative. Do Blundstones have shanks? I had a pair a while ago and they hurt my feet after about a year.
Would love to unmask some of the dressier European brands like Carmina, Crockett and Jones, TLB, meermin, etc... There's plenty at many pricepoints
I have a medium width foot, the Blundstones squashed my toes whilst Rossi boots fit perfectly from day one. I'd like to see a Rossi 'Endura' breakdown when you have the chance,
This video is just next level. Much appreciated
Checked my order and it was June 2022. The sole will probably last me another 11-12 months. Not bad for sub $100!
The design of the Nicks was quite interesting. Looks like it was cut down the side with the goring in what I can only call a three quarter frame of leather so it could be easily cut out and replaced. Hope I saw that right and if so super cool.
What's your thoughts on the ROCKROOSTER Gammon?
Love my Blundstones for just kicking around on a rainy day. But my favorite chelsea boots are my Allen Edmonds Liverpools. That calfskin is so comfy
Oz has done Chelsea boots well! So many in the list.
They should be crowned King of Chelsea shoes, totally not bias since I am from there.
for real Bright Cellars sounds so nice! wish i didn't live in Norway where this isn't possible, but it's a very cool concept!
They don’t deliver to Utah either hahhaa
@@RoseAnvil2 they could never deliver this because of the alcohol laws, but if I'd live in the States, I would 100% sign up! 🤗
Perfect timing on this. I'm deciding on a pair this week. Probably a wedge sole of some kind
Red backs for standing and hard surfaces. Jim green for uneven stuff and longevity
@@RoseAnvil2 So Jim Greens for outdoors since I live in CO and love to off-road and Redbacks for everyday?
I've worn a set of blundstones for 13 years now, and they have treated me pretty well. A work set barely lasted a year at a dealership before the tire machine ate the toes.
Just picked up a set of Redwing chelsea boots with toe caps. They're built like tanks but are noticeably more uncomfortable than my last conventional set of Redwing work boots, for comparison.
I'm based in Australia and absolutely love my blundstones. Looking at getting a dressier boot for work and want to support asutralian market. Could you look at something from wooten boots or Rossi boots!
Love the content mate
Bordon Isidro would be a good addition to the traditional group. Worth a close look.
You guys sure pay a huge markup on Blundstone in the US. Here in Australia they are no more than $150AUD, cheaper from workwear stores. Looks like you have the old model too. Upside is they are great boots and once broken in, fit like s glove.
Whoa
I have 2 pair of allen edmonds liverpool they are nice, would like to know roses opinion on them
First of all, thank you for the amazing videos on all the channels, and I have a request for you: the Brazilian Brand Louie, they started making shoes but they also have some great looking boots. Would love for you to review them !
A small question: does anyone know if the Jim Green are also suitable for women? Because they are advertised as men’s boots
I buy a pair of mongrel work Chelsea boots for like $100 shipping included from Australia. They last 2 years or so. Nothing in the USA beats that. And they are big and wide enough to fit any orthotics you might have.
Where can you find them?
Seems in the boot world almost everyone sleeps on Adelante. They have a huge size and width range across all of their products and make a really great chelsea, I think the model name is Mendoza. Goodyear welted, steel shank, leather is good quality, and priced under $300. Super comfortable chelsea that looks great, definitely not work wearable, designed as a casual shoe but very well made, and the price is good for what you get. I’ve got 3 different styles from them and they’re all excellent.
The big thing for me that sets apart a great Chelsea is the one piece upper. Like in the Blundstone 500 and RMs.
I have the Blundstones 2240 with the lug sole. They are amazing!
Refbacks are an incedible boot!
Weston, my man......can I get you to do some vintage Tony Lama, "Gold Labels." My father just gifted me a pair of "new/old stock" from back in the late 80's, a pair of "Zindello 4013's," one of the foundations of their work series, and these things are some TANKS!!! I mean a real bear to break. They say that vintage Tony Lama quality was (and I quote) "unrivaled🙌. Can you help to shed some light on this topic for a brother??? Best wishes to you and yours. Love the content.....cheers🥃
