Exactly why I became a suga fan back when I started watching mma in 2021. His skill, training, and coaching is just on a different level. Once everyone gets as dialed in as Suga does, mma is gonna be so elite
Its not hard to look like a skillful striker if you are atleast a foot taller than the rest of the division. He calls out Henry knowing he can can just stand and jab him all day.

max is a great boxer but striking also includes kicks,elbows,knees etc. max isnt a slouch when it comes to kicking either but i think sean has the edge overall. hes defo not the best striker in mma though (wonderboy,mvp,leon edwards,alex,izzy,conor,silva) like the list goes on and id barely even say seans top 15. and in max's own words hes "best boxer in the ufc" not the best striker

Yeah I lean that way too. I think they have similarly insane accuracy but Sean is wrong that he’s faster than Conor, and I think Conor had such scary power in addition to the speed that he’d be able to ko Sean if he caught him. Sean’s reach won’t even help that much since Conor’s old karate stance made him ridiculously fast at moving forward and backwards, effectively extending his reach.
I’d say 60/40 Conor/Sean - Sean might be able to tire Conor out with volume like Nate Diaz did, or out-point him and go for a decision. Would be an absolute banger of a fight no matter who won though
Idk about that. Connor would have to knock him out in the first. If he didn’t, then Sean would outpace him badly after 5. But 3 rounds, prime Connor could maybe get it. I think speed is also on Sean’s side by a bit

O'Malley is definitely top five in Striking. My favorite to watch is probably Yair Rodriguez and Corey sandhagen but Sean O'Malley's definitely up there as one of my favorite current UFC Stars
It would be interesting for 2-3 rounds. Connor in his prime had a killer left and a excellent counter striker. Sean has really good pace and cardio with underated power. Too bad we will never see it so there is no point in arguing it.
Prime Conor at 145 imo beats anyone in featherweight history past or present. He really was that good when he was focused.
