I’m dying
Im dead ahaha😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahha spot on😂😂😂
So cute 😂
Why did he focus on Jon’s boxing when that’s his weakest aspect
Cte
He’s focused on his family
because he prolly saw the glover fight where jones outboxed the shit out of a very good boxer
@@user-wt8im2ro1p*outpokes

Jons the Goat seems like the USADA boys only come out when you mention his name thats how you know he's better than their fave fighter.
Doesn’t let u get settled into boxing range. Keeps making u reset with those kicks. Jones absolutely brilliant in his prime,
You mean when he was younger/smaller and on roids
You mean when he was kicking peoples legs backwards with a direct kick to the knee on purpose
@@sabastianbarnett6518 its a fuckin fight do you expect him to kiss them goodnight?
@@_KhalifaHag YEP RIGHT BEFORE HE KNOCKS THEM OUT 😅👍
Yeah I felt it too when he kicked me
Bro thought Jon Jones was gonna box with him lmfao
😂
idk i feel like he had a solid reasoning behind it
hes a professional fighter and we’re just dudes on the internet so im thinking maybe he put more thought into it and knows more than you and i
@showtime1235 that's the thing tho. You realize your just a person. A lot of these dudes think by watching clips on UA-cam, they think they can either fight without actually any type of fight, not even a high school fight. Or it makes them believe they know everything.
Rampage really hates that oblique kick😂
Can't blame him, it fucked his knee up for life. I'm surprised it's still legal.
Smith never had a chance
Did anyone ?
@Sourcepowa Honestly..no. sure Gustafson and reyes could put it on him, but could anyone decisively beat jones? Probably not

@@gamessportsandmore3371 oh, I heard about it, people were trolling him because that's the weakest link of jon Jones fighting style🤣
smith went turtle mode this fight lol
Yep got bullied badly
That was the last dominant fight I think Jon had . The Santos and Reyes fights were judge gimmies. And Cyril for the life of me .just bent over and gave Jon his neck . I feel like I still haven’t even seen him fight at heavyweight.
Santos did not win
I’ve never seen a legitimate argument for why Santos won that fight. People just copy what others say without actually forming their own opinion. Jones won every round of that fight. Check the stats and rewatch it. People just say Santos won for some odd reason just because Jones didn’t dominate him.
@@ProfessionalCurryDefenderpeople say santos won because Jon didn’t absolutely decimate him, Jon isn’t allowed to have close fights in a lot of peoples minds for whatever reason
Him speaking about his fight with Jon Jones, is the most legendary part of his career over fighting Jon Jones. I’m sure he recognizes this!
Rampage Jackson: I hate that oblique kick 😂 Jon hurt him with that kick, gave him nightmares
Why is it funny? To injure a guy for life? You're such a pussy.
He said his knee has never fully healed
I would also hate a technique that ends the career more than It ends the fight
@@vittocrazia knock out could also end your career…
@@laaa210 not in the same way. And as i said... "More than It ends the fight". You cant knock out and lose. But you can wreck your opponents knee and still get pieced, but your opponent still loses a year's worth of training, and the rematch Will be easy. A knockout IS bad, yes. But IS less likely to take you out for good than a torn ligament on the knee. And a fighter with a torn ligament can still beat you.
There are so many ways to win or lose. You don't know how the opponent will arrange those attacks. Kicks mixed in change everything. You can't box when stuck in the kicking range. It disrupts the rhythm of boxing.
Anthony Smith is super honest 😂
Jones traumatizing his opponent 😢😂
Crazy cuz Jon is not 36 but has the energy of a fucking grandma, I miss watching his older fights
He said jones wasn't anything special. But he just said jon made him feel so dumb lol.
He coulda had the belt but he aint no Aljo
True but at least Aljo defended
Nope, unlike Aljo he was stupid and let someone beat him by cheating.
Jon was playing with his food in this fight. Could've easily put Smith away but kept battering him instead
For real man, it almost seemed like Jon was looking for new ways to beat Smith up.
Not really, I never see Jones hunt for finishes. He just picks apart his prey, and if happens to knock them out, then he knocks them out
@@GradeAmonster nah Jones was playing with him. Normally Jones unleashes vicious ground and pound but with Smith? He was more busy being picky with his shots and at times just was watching Smith be helpless on the ground lmao
@@noelnoni7310 Sure bro, he intentionally avoided to finish Smith 😂😂😂😂
Bruh the fucking Minecraft sound effects when Jon hits him with the spinning body kick😂
I can see that oblique kick being one of the only other moves banned in the UFC if other fighters start utilizing it like John, idk if it’s dangerous enough of a move to ban thon
It’s nasty, but so is an elbow to the skull. It’s not getting banned
Idk rampage thinks leg damage is worse than knee damage
If you think ir should be banned youre average IQ at best.
It’s just a sidekick to the knee lol,if you can do it to the body and face what’s the difference, don’t have a static slow stance that’s easy to kick then,
Smith was then, what today’s Aspinall is. Jones trumps ALL.
Anthony Smith is a legend in my book. Honesty goes a long way when it comes to respect
I agree, yet so many people give him stick, not sure why
Especially when he continued to fight after the illegal knee unlike aljo
@@charliemiles6722because dude is so in love with him self for absolute doing nothing
Anthony Smith is trash
@@vladigee the guy seems humble to me
You actually won that fight. Had too much honor to take the belt
Lol
@@HassanMohamoud-lg2xw facts. Jon should have 2 losses on fights he was dominating. I don’t like it. I’m a huge Jon Jones fan. But it’s the truth. He brutally kneed him in the face in a clear violation of the rules and Anthony only had to say I can not continue and the belt was his.
Same thing Tom Hypespinall will say
The problem for lion man is as that he thought a lead side kick was a front kick 😅
People bring up the knee but its a dumb rule anyway. Besides everyone hates Aljo for taking the belt that way.
That Jones kick is pretty dirty.
GOAT
Jon's fight IQ is insane. Ppl just aren't ready for it. He's so hard to prepare for. Aspinall is mistaken if he thinks Jon would ever brawl with him
I remember watching that fight and being fascinated by Jon’s ability to control range. I remember thinking it was like he had a bubble around him and every time Anthony touched the edge he’d get poked with something. And it wasn’t very big techniques, but more subtle damaging ones like the oblique kicks and front kicks to the stomach. It seemed like he was two steps ahead of Anthony on the feet.
This entire podcasts mission statement. Defeated jon jones opponent interviews defeated jon jones opponents
Jon the eye poker ..
same dude who thinks he can take perrira
boxing vs the goat lmao
His pure boxing is not that good
Jones isn’t a striker. He’s good at everything but he’s fought better strikers. He wins because he is good all around, not great at any one thing (besides wrestling, I gotta give him that).
John Jones stand-up = push kicks + eyepokes
The fact u didn't pull an Aljo when you could've makes you the goat 🐐 in my eyes bro.
That was one of his best fights despite the lost 🎉
they cut it at the oblique kick 😂
A lot of things that people seem to have a lot of problems with this is his height and reach it must be a big advantage in fighting to naturally have that
Sounds like your coaches never watched a single JJ fight
So your coaches didn't train you right, if your fighting Jones worry about his kicks that should be key but your coaches didn't know anything, fire them get new ones
You don’t know better, calm down 😂
because anyone looked good against jon lol

Jon dismantled him. Wholeheartedly. First time i watched him live. Couldn't believe my eyes
That's why he's a complete fighter and his iq is levels above everyone. GOAT
Whoop yo 🫏
But imagine the experience gained from the loss. 😊
Jon saw that you were stopped with a body kick from Thiago Santos, he's going to try that too. Having so many fights for him to watch for patterns made it easier to know what works and what works very well. But, you did get into the octagon with a known PED abuser, and that takes a lot of guts.

people say pereira is some potential goat

and I hate jones
Pereira is front foot heavy , Jones would kick his knee into the back row 😂 once immobilised drag him down for the 12-6 show 😂😂
Jon jones is just too good, in fact, the best.
Nah.
There is a support group for victims of jon bones 😅😂
Jon lives in his head rent free
Well your first mistake was claiming 6’4.
First loss at the staredowns
That loss plagues him because he could have taken the W from jones' illegal blow, but he has honour and kept fighting.
How did you not know that the oblique kick and the teep were gonna be the biggest issue? Those and takedown defense obviously should have been your biggest priorities.
"The boxing is not an issue" problem is, if you'd spent more time preparing for the kicks... the boxing would have been the issue. Or if you were well-prepared for both.. the clinching would have been the issue. Or if you beat him in every aspect on the feet, the wrestling would have been the issue.
Jones is unbeatable in the octagon
Bro his kicks is wat neutralizes everybody 4 u to focus on his weakest strength u definitely over thought it
Lion ❤is a fine man 🫵💯🫡
Lots of fighters have neutralised you bud.
I feel like most the guys Anthony fought since did the same thing to him though..
JD interrupted Kurt?
I didn’t know it’s Opposite Day.
Everyone thats lost reminicing over their loss to jones at the table
Seems Jones eyepoker influence him so much..
You were lucky to be there.
Jon Jones’s kids in there😂
I don’t think jones should ever be mentioned again in the conversation of UFC. it doesn’t matter how great you were could’ve been or am. Being a scum bag POs human being tarnished all of that. I’m glad he had the reputation he does.
Should’ve just taken the DQ title win, and rematched Jones for more prep
Lionheart, what a joke.
That is what happens when you focus too much on countering your opponents strengths instead of perfecting your own. It might make you better technically prepared to fight them, but it also puts you in a constant mental state of inferiority that can ultimately make you choke when the time comes.
Let’s be real, the oblique kick is a straight up dirty tactic and it really should be banned. I rate Jones, he’s the best to ever do it but he really did utilise all the most dirty tactics you could use to win - namely the oblique kicks and and ‘accidental’ eye pokes while finding his range.
This man admits that Jones neutralized him but then says on another podcast that he’s beatable. Like delusional and hypocritical have some transparency man. 💀💀💀
His reach is what gives the advantage. Izzy as well.
The fun fight would be Smith vs Pereira. Gets Smith that one chance to get the belt. 😅
I respect any fighter who’s accepted a fight with Jon Jones
Why did it take him years to realize he got his ass beat
Should have take that DQ
Smith got owned plain an simple
Smith shoulve done the aljamain sterling after the illegal knee
Anthony was still the better fighter that night on paper
Because hes the greatest ever
Bro everything that happened in that fight shocked me. I thought you had good chance to win. You weren't even a shadow of Anthony Smith, in all the other fights that got you the title shot.
He fucked you up 😂😂
Ahh man
To think that Smith could've won that fight over a technicality but chose not to is wild
You both here lost the battle of the mind with him. Kept you from feeling confident in yourself. Kept you from being yourself in the ring.
Smith did beat Jones, via the knee to the head while grounded. Smith would have been Champ, like Aljo...
Love anthony but jons boxing is trash he shouldve focused on the kicks wtf
Anthony Smith gotta be the worst consistent contender ever. Him and Marvin. God, they're bad.
Plagued you? I agree....it hasnt ended.
Jon Jones is not elite at any one single aspect of mma. As in he is not a better boxer than alexander usyk, he is not a better kickboxer than rico verhoeven, he is not a better wrestler than Velasquez, he is not a better grappler than gordon ryan etc . The thing that makes jon so special is that he is just good enough at each one of them to combine then well enough in a fight making him lethal
The man that could've taken the belt but chose not to
Because he's got enough self respect to know he wouldn't've felt like he deserved or earned it
@@overdose247 Crazy thing is what happened to Sterling. He wins by DQ but ends up defending the belt against some great fighters. Who knows how things could've turned out?
@@omegaweapon116How many defenses did Sterling have…?
Dude took the coward’s way. You can say a win is a win, but there’s no way around it. And Smith knows this, which is why he did not do what Sterling did. Aljamain is a bad MF but there is a reason nobody respects him, outside of his fans.
@@jonjonah4288 He defended three times. That's not bad at all

Jon fights with a psychopathic rage, he’s out to kill you not win a fight. The only way to beat a Demon is to temporarily become a Demon yourself 😈
I get your point although God helps people defeat demons all the time
Did nothing the last round down four rounds to nothing
