      ⁠@@taunohill6710 2 things both having something bad in common doesn’t make it any less of an issue. The only two sports where it makes sense to have differently sized “playing surfaces” are racing and baseball.

      @@bwfextreme with that logic, all fights should be held at sea level, in a location that splits the time difference between the two opponents fighting each other. There are differences in ring size because there are differences in people size. Smaller fighters will usually want the smaller ring, unless you’re a heavily footwork oriented, distant management type of fighter, Sean O’Malley, Sugar Ray Leonard are two prime examples. Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo, Canelo that A side wanted the smaller 18 foot ring but busy and his team demanded a 22 foot ring, and we all know what good it did him. Ring size is a nitpicky Primadonna thing to be worrying about.

    This shouldn't even be a thing. Have 1 regulation size. No switching back and forth. They don't switch the field sizes for NFL, NBA, or NHL depending on where it is. It's ridiculous.

      @@kieranjanczur8069aljo is a better striker than merab. Merab is also much more chinny. He’s shorter, stubbier, and won’t be able to grab ahold of a much longer omalley. IMO a terrible matchup for merab. Sean chins him.

    Small cage is actually good for up and coming fighters because it’s easier to get a takedown for grapplers and it forces strikers to engage more. Can make a name for yourself easier here

    Boxing also has different size rings. I think it's an interesting variable, like he said one can benefit some people more than others, so we should be using more than one in total fairness.

    He is gonna starch merab. Sean isn’t full of himself as a fighter. He knows his limits and he has fear. He trains all the time regardless of having a fight. Plus his ground game is not shit like people say

    I like rogans idea of them fighting on an open surface...like they were saying about half of a basketball court..put some mats down and you're good.....theres no cages to hold someobody up in a street fight....ans it also gives guys with good footwork more room to work with.
