That black figure to the left is an entity whose had assumed the form of that old lady. The kids never commited suicide in the bad ending, they were drowned by it(they ain't aware of it's presence). You needed the 3 pinwheels to make an offer to it so it will calm down and give you time to save the kids before it drowns them. Probably it's the same spirit who've killed Sato's child.
@rohitshinde_0725 I think that was a malfunction. I played it and as soon as you offer it the three pinwheels it changes to "it seems satisfied". Gab played this game in an all over the place order but that part seemed to be a glitch
I always love seeing your videos that explain a lot of the flavor text in Japanese games, especially in Chilla's Art games! It gives great context that goes beyond surface-level when checking out the games.
I like how the developer(s) really make statements with their character designs. like they make the body models using these dated polygonal figures to just let you know "this is an X person" but then paste a real face on them. I obviously don't know exactly how the devs intend for that to be interpreted, but it makes for a cool vibe
I don’t think it’s making any kind of statement. I think it’s just a clever implementation of a very dated technique from the PS1/N64 era, made to be unsettling. There’s a blatant uncanniness to it.
I dont think its a statement per se, its just an easier way to make a wide variety of characters who have detailed faces using basic models, while capitalizing on their inherent uncanniness to add to the horror vibe of their games

I may be late into checking this gameplay, but just the same, thanks for the upload. As for games that still needs translating, take your time. Don't worry about it. In the meantime, since you mentioned revisits, I may have to dive back into your Fatal Frame gameplays. Its been awhile.
That ear thing is Ear Pressurizing. It's something you learn a lot about when diving. It's why you need to "pop your ears" in an Airplane. You have an imbalance of Negative and positive pressure which makes it hard to hear. It's not harmful unless you pressurize it with to much force as i did once when diving on accident and it slightly ruptured my ear it hurt for a week or so while it healed. But yeah it's normal and relatively harmless nothing to worry about as long as the pressure balances out after a while. Id say if it doesn't balance after like 24-48 hours then you might want to get checked but i doubt a Doc would really be able to help it since it's just Air Pressure

Your hearing problem is caused by a pressure imbalance between the air in your head (lol) and the atmosphere. Its worse first thing in the morning because mucus pools in your sinuses while laying down. It can be seasonal, and dairy exacerbates it.

I have been loving watching you and Sean play Chilla's Art! I was never really into these types of games, I tend to be someone who gravitates more towards "newer" looking graphics or more clear looking, but I love these games! I have a lot of them on my wishlist on Steam from watching you guys play! I do wish that some of the games were more clear because I do struggle to sometimes see what's going on but it has definitely changed the way I look at game styles like this! :)

Super late to comment on it but the ear thing is your inner ear (?) being filled up with fluid, swallowing, blowing our noses, yawning, popping our ears, etc cause it to drain and it fills up again. This also can affect balance ! If you use a humidifier at night you will most likely experience it less !
I honestly don't think you'll see this cause this vid came out a while ago lol but I also get the thing where you can hear your breathing in your ears. A way that I've found to reset it is to put your head down for a bit until it goes back to normal. I don't know why it works but it does lol. Hope this helps!!

Hey Gab, I really recommend Return to Castle Wolfenstain!! It’s an early 2000’ s game and I remeber how traumatic that game was to me when I was a kid... it may be a bit action oriented because it’s set in the middle of the war but I assure you it’s quite terrifying with the monsters! Cheers ✌🏻
I know you've done a lot of Japanese games, translating them to English for those who don't speak the language, but have you ever considered playing any Dutch games? I know the amount of Japanese games is much more vast than Dutch, but even doing really any video in Dutch and translating to English would be cool. I've been learning Dutch for the past 4 months, working 4+ hours a day on lessons, in between work. Ik ben er vrij zeker van dat ik de taal onder de knie heb, aangezien ik me comfortabel genoeg voel om het in een gesprek te gebruiken. Ik gebruik zelfs een Nederlands toetsenbord op mijn telefoon om mijn gedachten bij de taal te houden en om te voorkomen dat woorden met Engels worden vermengd. To say I'm impressed with myself.. is an understatement to be honest. I catch myself forgetting words for some things in English, but knowing them very easily in Dutch 😂🤦🏻♀️
Concerning your trouble hearing in the mornings, I think you just get mucus between the canal (Eustachian tube) of your ear and sinuses and swallowing temporarily clears it. I get that sometimes, too. It's normal!
Wearing ear buds can cause various types of damage but it could be the sinuses. Diagnosis processing request error- would be wise to get the problem checked out by a competent physician considering it could affect the equaliberium (spelling malfunction-error 2501).....end-

I love how gab plays a variety of different games apart from Japanese games but it's always fun to learn another language but also it's a challenge😊❤

Super late to comment on it but the ear thing is your inner ear (?) being filled up with fluid, swallowing, blowing our noses, yawning, popping our ears, etc cause it to drain and it fills up again. This also can affect balance ! If you use a humidifier at night you will most likely experience it less !
I honestly don't think you'll see this cause this vid came out a while ago lol but I also get the thing where you can hear your breathing in your ears. A way that I've found to reset it is to put your head down for a bit until it goes back to normal. I don't know why it works but it does lol. Hope this helps!!

Hey Gab, I really recommend Return to Castle Wolfenstain!! It’s an early 2000’ s game and I remeber how traumatic that game was to me when I was a kid... it may be a bit action oriented because it’s set in the middle of the war but I assure you it’s quite terrifying with the monsters! Cheers ✌🏻

I know you've done a lot of Japanese games, translating them to English for those who don't speak the language, but have you ever considered playing any Dutch games? I know the amount of Japanese games is much more vast than Dutch, but even doing really any video in Dutch and translating to English would be cool.
I've been learning Dutch for the past 4 months, working 4+ hours a day on lessons, in between work. Ik ben er vrij zeker van dat ik de taal onder de knie heb, aangezien ik me comfortabel genoeg voel om het in een gesprek te gebruiken.
Ik gebruik zelfs een Nederlands toetsenbord op mijn telefoon om mijn gedachten bij de taal te houden en om te voorkomen dat woorden met Engels worden vermengd.

Concerning your trouble hearing in the mornings, I think you just get mucus between the canal (Eustachian tube) of your ear and sinuses and swallowing temporarily clears it. I get that sometimes, too. It's normal!
