I have a Nissan Caravan with a ZD30 engine and I have the same rev issues. After scanning it ahows that it is the accelerator pedal. Can I follow these same steps to cross the wires and plug it back in without anything getting damaged? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I love this video
Would you know how to get the fuel pump out of a ZD30 without taking the engine out? I've got it all undone, but the engine mount is in the way and it won't come out
@@elliotkane4443 Pretty sure it's a DI. I've got the pump loose, but there's an engine mount just in the way by about 10mm. It looks like Nissan cut a section out for the pump anyway, if they'd cut an extra 10mm more the pump would come out easily (after removing everything that is)
This did not work for me. I have the same issue, same intermittent throttle drop out exactly like this. I have replaced TPS, replaced micro switch, now i have just tried this as i was adamant this would fix the issue, however no difference... what do you think it could be? Still throwing 0403 code. Please help. Micro switch was doing what it was suppose to, as i accelerated with my hand i pushed the switch with my finger and bam, throttle drop out exactly like it does without forcing it on. I thought dodgey plug also, however thats not the case...
Thanks mate, I have sprayed the inside of plug going down to crank sensor. Will see how it goes... I have also disconnected battery to reset ECU, 3hrs and I'll connect it back as I've read this is how long it needs to be disconnected for.
No difference. Still having throttle drop out issue. Do you think maybe where the micro switch wires go to have a bad connection? Where do those wires run to? Thanks
It is probably not the issue but in the last six months I've seen the rubber insulator between the micro switch and the pedal arm is loose on 2 vehicles. Sometimes it sticks itself to the micro switch and sometimes not. Peel of the rubber and all fixed. Hope this helps someone.
Yes if you have problems like this,no harm to your zd30!if you have the pedal switch,then you can replace it,but check the plastic/rubber stopper on the switch, sometimes it's just the reason
Hello. Sinubukan ko na po ito, hard starting sya kinabukasan, parang nawalan ng fuel sa IP at binobomba ko pa yung pung fuel pump para magstart. Tinatanggal ko nalng yung negative wire sa batt overnyt, kinabukasan pag kabit ko ng wire di sya hard starting. Yan nlng palagi ko ginagawa. Ano po kaya ang cause ng problen na yan Sir/maam? Thank you.
Meron po ako ginagawa Nissan patrol 2010 model.problema Pag tapak ng accerator walang reaksyon kailangan bombahin para markapower bigla namatay ano po kaya problema.salamat po
Better check out your turbo boost pressure,or your waste gate actuator if it's working properly...it should push up when engine is already running and pull down a matter of seconds when you rev it above 2000rpm up

I'm guessing by that question that the engine should be out to remove the fuel pump :(
@@Aussiesnrg Is it a DI or CRD? After 2007 should be CRD, they use a totally different Pump

Try to check the harness or socket of the crankshaft position sensor... I'll send it to your messenger

Didn't work. I have ordered a new map sensor and a new maff sensor. See what happens after they are delivered and in. ✌️

Check mo po ung battery or glow plugs if working properly
