Making a Banana Smoothie In 3 Easy Steps | Post Workout

  • This Creamy, delicious Banana Smoothie is ideal to take after completing your workout, (5 or so minutes after). This is due to the fact that when you workout the Glycogen storage in your body gets depleted. The main ingredient in this smoothie "banana" works to replenish the glycogen levels which is known to help rebuild damaged muscles.
    The smoothie is also rich in potassium, iron and high in fibre greatly needed by the body after exercising. It is also known to reduce menstrual pains.
    INGREDIENTS;
    . 2 ripe bananas (chopped and frozen)
    . 2 cups of chilled milk
    . 2 tbsp of honey
    . 1/2 tbsp of vanilla Essence
    . Few drops of Lemon
    METHOD;
    1. Peel, slice and wrap the bananas before freezing
    2. Add all Ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.
    3. Pour into your serving glasses and drink.
