Here's a quick one as I only just read the Twab but I didn't realise how important some of the things Xur sells in order to get LOADS of Strange Coins!

You don't actually buy the buff item for 47 coins. You can pick up the buff item when you spend 47 coins on other things.
I used to grind out every vender and had a good ol' time. For some reason this season with all the great changes I just simply can't be bothered anymore.
I have 99 and capped out.
Xur has nothing I need though. They need to increase the cap or let us store them in our vault.

I agree, but they want us to spend them not stock pile them like many of us had thousands of shards saved up. That's why shareds are gone now.
The problem is that the strange favor only works for the character you buy it, not account wide, Bungie need to make the buff for all characters since you can only buy it once per week it affects only one character at the moment, one extra coin each assault probably with the stack you will get 2 coins extra per activity
They have been outright lying to us about the reason why they removed legendary shards. Those were a universal currency that could be acquired through all activities. Now everyone is forced to grind ritual playlist activities. It takes about 25 strikes to fill the coin purse (4 coins per strike). One legendary item is sold for 17 coins, one more than 16, so 5 strikes are necessary - this is exactly like buying silver, where you have to spend more than you needed and end up with leftover silver that doesn't buy you anything. 😤
I had over 5k shards. I would’ve expected some in return honestly. Maybe strange things but less maybe around 1k for the 5k shards or some
I said this on Sausages last Xur video. They removed legendary shards only to replace them with a more difficult to get currency. Xur with extra steps essentially. It's just lucky Xur rarely ever has anything worthwhile to buy. And with the massively increased drop rate of exotic engrams, the fact you can now just choose what exotic you want from Rahool, Xur seems like he's become obsolete.
@@kevinc605 you can only hold 99 strange coins, and Bungie gave us more than ample time to get rid of our legendary shards before removing them, if you got lumped with thousands of legendary shards when TFS dropped, that's on you. I managed to get rid of all mine and I had over 10k.
@@ArmitageShanksMC where are you getting all these exotic engram drops? Maybe I'm just not in the favor of the RNG gods but I'm not getting exotic engrams for anything that I didn't before. 3 ritual completions, etc. I've not gotten any random drops
@@KRaZyWaKa I get them all over the place. I've gotten about 10 drops since TFS went live from various chests, and I've only gotten a couple from the ritual playlist because I've not really been doing nightfalls. Maybe I'm just lucky in that respect. I already focused decoded 4 of the new warlock chest pieces.
We should get strange coins by doing anything in the game really, having so much story stuff and seasonal stuff to do it would work better, I’ve barely been on ritual activities
The economy in Destiny has gotten out of hand, and it's one of the reasons I keep stepping away.
Especially for players who have jobs and lives and can't afford to grind 24:7. It's as if they are making this game for streamers who play it professionally.

So, nope, the low cap is a retarded decision, typical of BUNGO and their lower caps for important materials/currencies.

We also carry up to 10 armor sets, 30 weapons and heaps of those giant engrams. I'm sure the coins are the least of our worries 😂

A 99 max is a joke. I had 97 and couldnt pick up my coins at end of strike. Doesnt even send to post anymore.

Xur's store is dead as far as I'm concerned. It took me 10-20 minutes to get 4 coins so it's an ugly FOMO mess now. 71 coins for a catalyst is ridiculous. Won't be able to get any of the other items he sells now.

i get that some poeple dnot like playing with othees am nevrous when useing lfg but most my exprince as be good with them have had some bad exprince to with lfg but not very many

This is useless. Only players who mainly play crucible or raids might profit from this buff. I don't have time to waste on ritual activities. Xúr has basically become unavailable for me. 👎

Seems like you're the winny one every other post you're complaining. It's really not time consuming to get strange coins. I'm a disabled solo player you're claiming is most effected by the update and I'm doing just fine

And it's not like I'm interested in playing those old activities every week. Bungie claimed they would allow us to gather resources by playing what we wanted. Another lie.

they always want you to play gambit but don't give you any incentive to play gambit. the loot pool sucks compared to crucible.

Running a 50 wave onslaught you get around 25-30 strange coins

True, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and reward them for apparently doing a good job with the final shape (going by the announcements), so pre-ordered. Now I'm already regretting it, seeing how they were hiding facts or outright lying.
Some people are just incredibly anxious with other people. Im ok with bungie giving them a break. Just be thankfull you get to enjoy the full game.
