Very nice demo. You use flux core to weld or gas ? And is it 110 or 220

Depends. I use flux core.035 for dirty metal and thicker metal, and gas with solid wire .030 for new panels. My welder is capable of 110/220 so I use 110 for panels and 220 for thicker metal areas to ensure good penetration. I hope that helps. I also use a princess auto spot welder (220) for the lower lip everywhere I can

Hi there, I use a Lynde 180 Mig welder, its capable of 110 and 220 Volt connections. I like to use flux core wire 0,035 for anything on the structure sections and anything of original metal, dirty metal. I take a wire wheel to the metal or sanding discs to clean it up some before welding, For the body panels I use solid wire 0,030 with gas. I set temp and wire speed according to the chart inside the welder door. It seems to work well with the recommended settings. Good Luck with your project! I would love to hear about what you are working on too.

I'm working on a 1970 tin top camper, somebody should have stopped 4 inches sooner so it's getting a different nose. :)
