- Here it is, every single summon from the game Golden Sun: the Lost Age. Now with fancy abcense of health bars.
Order of summons:

I wouldve done Iris last, but Charon did too much damage and messed with my system.
How It Was Made:
Using Visual Boy Advance (VBA) I recorded all of the sound and video of each summon. I also recorded the the background battle music. By aligning and combining the sfx with the music and inerting the sfx, I was able to have sfx without the background music.
Using Windows Movie Maker I could combine all of the sfx and video and music into a single movie.

This is what made Golden Sun so awesome, the makers weren't afraid to literally go all out! They'll be sitting going like, "Hey let's make a summon were a dude comes out of the air and blows up the entire universe just to kill an ant and wolf, and when it's done everything is still completely intact." "But that makes no sense at all...........I like it!"
those crazy particle effects and the slowdown they caused lol I always swore meteor would make the fucking gba blow up in my hands back in the day

Nothing but nostalgia. This is the best RPG I played on GBA- just seeing those summons in action takes me back
Shaney: Elemental Gamer me and my bf are playing through all the golden sun games atm.. Forgot how awsome they were and I never actually finished Golden Sun myself so seeing it all is amazing.
Best GBA games. the charm of older gen RPG's where the new gen doesnt have it.
There's one part missing, Daedalus' big missile
There's also a mistake. It's not "Atlanta", it's "Atalanta" and she's summone using Wind Djinnies.
The moves are too awesome. They caused the game to lag. XD
my girlfriend's name is iris. i actually got her to play these games by telling her she's the ultimate attack :D
I played GS series for years and years in my childhood and it's one of my favourite games, but I never understood why the fk is Boreas a ice cream machine :D

DAAAMN. Summons using up to 10 Djinns?! And I thought Judgement was the most breathtaking summon I've seen.
Boreas made me lol. He basically is a big ice shaving machine and kills your opponents with shaved ice!

Judgement, Charon, and Catastrophe would be great final smashes. Does anyone agree?
I think Daedalus would be a good Smash as well.

So much nostalgia! But really, who can forget the awesome feeling for summoning Eclipse, or Iris, or really any of them for the first time?
I love eclipse personally. He is very divine
i dont Know if the game was lagging when the most powerful summons was here, but i always think that effect increase the epicness of theses invocations
I don't remember the Ants being that tough...
You have no idea how much I love this game! I want Isaac in smash and he should summon Judgement : )

This game pushes the GBA to its limits, is amazing how the gba did not crash at the times with this, some amazing quality control right there. Would love to see a GS in the Switch, they could make both games in 1 go, in a world similar to BoW, it would be amazing

I used to think these were the most amazing and epic summons ever when I was a kid, but now a lot of them just look silly to me. Still love these games, though.
Seishae Ulysses always makes go "wtf?".
Alexis Goitia I know right? Yet people always whine about Dark Dawn's summons even though Cybele, Zagan, Ulysses, Nereid, and Megaera look many times less stupid than their GBA counterparts.
Seishae nah I think the old one was pretty good. For the fact that it's for Gameboy advance console.
For a couple of forest creatures, they sure have a lot of stamina to be taking on all of those attacks...
This video took me back so hard..I forgot how much I freaking love this game...I wish you didn't leave out Daedalus' massive 2nd rocket impact though LOL

Pure nostalgia, I miss this series I can still remember judgment/catastrophe were my favorite summons and I'd spam them often just for the animation lol.
So many good memories, and after all this years i must say... This is one of the best RPG ever!!
Time to look for a Rom and play it again

O GOD the nostalgia is real ..Glad I have my boy and the Rom on my phone . ...I played this game when I was like 11 or 12 and fell in love with rpgs ..Im 27 now and still playing this classic

It is actually stated online that the "Catastrophe" summon is the biggest most powerfullest summon "special effect" wise since the animation is meant to bring out the 100% maximum capability of the GameBoy Advance's graphical processor.
The attack in itself is brutal of course but the animation is the most best the GBA was and still IS ever capable of.Simply the GPU can't handle anything with more GFX than this one summon its THAT brutal!

The correct answer is that Charon does instant death kill and no enemy is invulnerable regardless of HP.
During the battle with Dullahan, some of my characters did not get killed or only lost partial HP when the boss summoned Charaon.
What a way to end it, that last summon was awesome!

we can say that the invocation was too overpowered for the gba technologie !!! ah ah
also, you missed out daedalus' attack in the next round, the huge missile.
aside from that though, great collection of all the summons.

one of the main things that i think made Golden sun amazing was the summons.
That and the music.
Using Eclipse or Catastrophe was just awesome with the music, especialy the Doom Dragon theme.

Regarding Daedalus: you forgot to show its final missile attack that occurs about two turns later.

yes, and this game is a collection of all mythological creatures that could easily exchange characters of different media, like if there was a way to change Cybele sprite with Sawako it will make touhou fans wet

I read that Charon's attack causes instant death which could explain why the lesser enemy would be eliminated easily.

Everytime i use Neptune I close my eyes. I have a phobia for giant squids and giant octopuses and pretty much every giant mythological sea creature you could think of. I love the beach but the vision of getting stranded in the middle of a deep sea at night freaks me out so much..
iris is fucking amazing... btw those monsters have a fucking shit ton of health xD (just kidding)
No, it's not that the monsters have a lot of health. It's just that summons are much less powerful against enemies with low maximum HP, since the multiplier for max health is greatly reduced when the max HP is low, as in when you're fighting monsters.
Summons only do massive damage against bosses because bosses typically have high max HP, which greatly amplifies the amount of damage done due to the multiplier.
The power rating of the summons should still OHKO the little wolf.
Schnookums to be honest it was a joke, since by the recording perspective they resisted a ton of summonings (even if i know they are probably presets/save_state before the battle)
This game was pretty top quality for a GBA game

2-in1 in 29, since it's given as "Atalanta" in the English games, at the least.
Confirmed in Dark Dawn, i think. Judgement transforms in the Catastrophe-Summon.
My favorite summons are Eclipse and Tiamat. :D
