Carrie (1976) is far and away my favourite American film of all time, never seen the remakes don't intend too, been a fan of Betty ever since that film didn't realise that she is such a fantastic singer and performer, would love too see her on stage in London, I know of course she,s done a lot in London, I was also surprised to know that her first appearance in London was in 1969 in a musical called Promises, Promises.
That was such a powerful portrayal of the song. It really affected me, especially as it has such a resonance with the times in which we are living. It really makes you think about all those who are alone and struggling to see loved ones during the pandemic.
rPlease God, do not let history record Betty Buckley based on "Cats". If anyone has ever truly listened to her and witnessed her gifts, Cat's is only a foot note on the magnitude of her talent.
OH MY GOD! Ms Buckley the powerhouse vocalist! Ugh. How did I miss this? Thank you for sharing this. I listen to this one (track 8 on Sterling's "Betty's Broadway") on sad days. This is amazing. Was Seth playing on the other end???
There are two women in the world who can do this. Betty Lynn Buckley and Pat Carrol. I don't mean sing this particular song. I mean preform like they did when they were at their prime.
She sings from a place of depths convictions emotions, it stirs me
So so beautiful! I believe this recorded during Covid-19 quarantine 2020….thank you Betty Buckley ♥️Xxxooo
A few people has a voice that pierce my soul and she has one

What an absolutely beautiful song. Betty's older voice is so powerful and emotive.
This made me cry so hard. What an artist!
Oh shit!!!!!! Thats the gym teacher!!!!!! She smack the damn out of Nancy Allen. Lol.
The line beginning "Who will hold me...." always breaks me up. The loneliness of that feeling.
A voice you could listen to forever.
Wow. Still got it!
Absolutely beautiful, Betty!
Oh my God... she’s so good... so much feeling! Beautiful!
I love you. Thank you for the gifts you gave me through every note you sang.
