Dude , Eli is such a good podcast guy , he's always willing to chill with the guest and get to know them before the pod , he's super friendly and welcoming no matter what , and he always keeps everything positive, he needs way more recognition, keep up the good work . Great show
I wonder if that's how all the guests come in "warm" -- they've talked on the podcast about going to brunch/lunch with guests, intentionally spending time together, breaking bread and getting to know each other, and it's a HUGE boon to the show.
It leads to a great vibe of "we've been buds forever" instead of the "we met each other right before we started recording and this is awkward" vibe soooooo many podcasts have.
They've got such an amazing sense of hospitality and comfort - they seem so welcoming. Like, "If we've invited you in, you're in. Be yourself. We wouldn't have asked you to come on if we were iffy about you, what you do, or who you are."
It's wholesome AF and I'm here for it

So I'm watching this on my lunchbreak and my rookie comes walking into my office and apparently I went from old man FTO to a pretty cool Sarge real quick. Apparently he listens to yall as well. Then he said the words that hurt so bad, "but sarge aren't you too old to listen to these guys?" I swear I never thought I'd hear that but I'm almost 40 and he's 21 so I guess I have become old?? But hey I never thought I'd live past 25 since I was in Iraq at the time so hey he can call me old all he wants.

You guys and your attention to head injury and brain differences (I will not call a tism a disability it's an ability that just needs an outlet. I feel that I test on the tism scale but then they call me brain damaged and shuffle me off on anti-seizure meds. nobody wants to acknowledge the genius of autism we feel more in different ways. Other people see it as a disability but I see it as a ability to look at the world differnt.
A great example of what Cody said about the internet not being real is the WHO talking about solving world hunger and Musk saying he can actually foot that bill. But he wanted to know what they plan to do with the money (like 2.2B or something). They had no solution for it. They put the answer out there but had no way of knowing how to get there. Charities are fantastic. But do the homework to know where the money actually goes and how it's used.
