As a nation, we cannot trust the Tories, they betrayed us during the Covid19 Pandemic (just for starters). While the rest of the nation had to stay in isolation from each other, Boris Johnson, Richi Sunak and co, were all having a big party and curry night TOGETHER! Give Sir Keir a chance, just give him a chance. We must all TRY to understand that he has much work to do. Trying to clean up after 14 years of Tory incompetence, and gaining trust in the British people once again. A big job I think.
I'm truly happy labour made it out with such a landslide victory. But looking closer at the numbers, there is too much blue (reform/tory) for comfort. Next elections won't be kind to labour if they don't act fast and well (with whatever funds the tories left to the country)
The Tories managed to gerrymander a fear few boarders like my area was once in a labour stronghold in the home counties, the f-ers managed to change the boarders so that I am now in a prominently Conservative area. Guess what? Still blue.
So delusional. Off you go, love. You better get cracking "rebuilding trust" 😂 She's so monumentally terrible at her job, it's amazing she's clung onto her seat.
Think many people across the land regardless of voting Labour, Lib Dems, Green, independent will be looking at these areas that re-elected Braverman, Badenoch etc and wonder about the residents there. Not to tarnish them all but a large proportion voted for these individuals who have done so much damage to this country...
Suella's speech should win a comedy award. That was hilarious! And Jacob was just as delusional. I think the Tories are going to be out for while and it might get worse if they allow suella to have some kind of prominent position.
Hunt is responsible for many of the NHS problems but he was never pro Brexit and credit for his speech. Can't see him going to Reform whose agressive leader seems to be focused on smashing things up.
Oh he was very pro brexit up until the referendum. Typical politician looks to see which way the crowd is running and shouts 'follow me I am right behind you'
Suella really needs the conservative party to move further right because if they move left she won't be accepted there anymore. She can't just switch to reform either because she's not the right colour for that group, which is a shame because honestly she would fit right in there. She will be left without a party and she isnt appealing enough to run as independent.
Glad to see the back of all of them including Hunt - but will at least give him credit for having some class and dignity on the way out. I wasn't expecting that tbh
The problem Steve Baker mentioned is down to the toxicity brexit boosted and the tory culture wars they stoked, you set people against one and other then you have to expect that small minority that take things to the extreme and violence
What the Tories really didn't understand is that the best and kindest way to boost the economy is to simply give people more spending power rather than focusing on shoving people into problems and wrestling control of their own lives away from them. Forget sticks and carrots. We're not children. Just enable and be merry. That's all we really need and that's what I want from Labour.
Braverman's speech was so devoid of emotion that I doubt she could pass a Turing test. The closest it got to any feeling was a pause which sounded more like she was simply parched. She is broken in a way that I don't believe can be fixed.
Suella Braverman is certainly not fooling me. She is just as guilty if not more in some instances as every member of the Conservative Party for their failures! Suella's apology speech was shameful.
As someone who didn’t vote for either party, I actually thought Jacob Rees Mogg spoke very well as did a lot of the outgoing Tories . If we’re being objective, which a lot of people struggle with, I think a lot of them spoke respectfully of their rivals. We don’t always have to try and stir up rivalry.
What I am expecting is the Tories will fall to infighting even further, once Sunak steps down they will rip each other apart like a pack of starving dogs all wanting the big seat, so forget 131 seats, I’m expecting them fracture even further and either abandon the party or form smaller factions within the ruins.
Yeah, it typically takes 5-10 years of in fighting before the party that lost power gets back on track, then another election or 2 to get on message and organised.
The tories aren't sorry that they did such a terrible job, they are just sorry that the gravy train came to a crashing halt.

@@timvella1817 the UK is worse off on every economic metric because of Brexit. Sorry but numbers and facts don't lie 😂
Can't belive this woman still in
As a nation, we cannot trust the Tories, they betrayed us during the Covid19 Pandemic (just for starters).
Because they never gave respect
I'm truly happy labour made it out with such a landslide victory.
But looking closer at the numbers, there is too much blue (reform/tory) for comfort.
Next elections won't be kind to labour if they don't act fast and well (with whatever funds the tories left to the country)
@@Keln02 labour only got in by default fararge is the reason starmer is in downing street just like farage was the reason the tories won in 2019
@@jamescole8771. That’s like saying the Tories were only in power becuase of the SNP..
That is the fear.
The Tories managed to gerrymander a fear few boarders like my area was once in a labour stronghold in the home counties, the f-ers managed to change the boarders so that I am now in a prominently Conservative area. Guess what? Still blue.
@@jamescole8771 you only got 15% of the vote, even under PR you wouldnt win
"We need to listen to you" she says with her fingers in her ears
yes , they said that in 1997, the voters fell for it in 2010 and then the tories went back to their usual crooked ways
Where do I want to see the tories go? Is rwanda an option?
Yep.
They seem to love the country so much, they should relocate there en masse.
Rwandans: please, no.
How wonderful to finally see happy Brits
Farewell Sir Jobless Rees Mogg
sad truth is, he's worth £100mil, he won't know any struggle
He's not worried about money, he made a fortune when the Pound was shorted.
If only he had to sign on at his local job centre.
He still has his seasonal job in pantomime as Uriah Heep.
Rees gob..got millions to fall back on.
So delusional. Off you go, love. You better get cracking "rebuilding trust" 😂
She's so monumentally terrible at her job, it's amazing she's clung onto her seat.
Think many people across the land regardless of voting Labour, Lib Dems, Green, independent will be looking at these areas that re-elected Braverman, Badenoch etc and wonder about the residents there. Not to tarnish them all but a large proportion voted for these individuals who have done so much damage to this country...
You literally took the words out of my mouth. Absolutely correct, James.
I'm looking forward to seeing nonentities like Braverman and co on the opposition benches
How many times did Cruella say "we're delivering what the people want"?
The only time they did that was on Thursday 4th July.
Sorry, sorry, a thief would say after being caught.
Sorry they were caught. Not sorry for their actions.
In power for 14 years and probably now out of power for 14 years 😆😂🤣
Bye bye lord snooty 😂
Let’s hope Suella Depraverman is never heard of again. The same for the Dark Lord VoldeMogg.
Typical politician looks to see which way the crowd is running and shouts 'follow me I am right behind you'
They all need jail all the crooked torys.
The Tory party did listen, but they chose to ignore.
Clear your desk dont let the door whack you on your way out
Go James!!! Big regret - Braverman not out.
certainly the homeless having their tents taken off them would be an example of Suella's true cruel character, that one is on her and her alone!
I pray that here in America, we have enough voters here to insure we maintain our semblance of democracy to improve on it. Kudos to your voters.
Suella really needs the conservative party to move further right because if they move left she won't be accepted there anymore. She can't just switch to reform either because she's not the right colour for that group, which is a shame because honestly she would fit right in there. She will be left without a party and she isnt appealing enough to run as independent.
Truss did say something after she left the stage. 'That. Is. A .Disgrace.'
She feels the voters have robbed her of her entitlement.
Shame Kemi Badenoch survived. Queen of the culture wars 😭
Don’t worry Kemi won’t ever become anything more than a backbencher at best 😂😂
I sincerely hope that BadEnoch goes out and buys a mirror, hopefully not on expenses.
She might get a shock when she does.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 currently favourite to become Tory leader.
The disconnect is astounding. Cruella Slaverman was the most hardline Home Secretary ever and failed miserably.
She would be more at home if she defected to 'Reform'
Makes me wonder if this defeat will actually teach them any lessons? Or will they just blame everyone else as usual?
As someone who didn’t vote for either party, I actually thought Jacob Rees Mogg spoke very well as did a lot of the outgoing Tories . If we’re being objective, which a lot of people struggle with, I think a lot of them spoke respectfully of their rivals. We don’t always have to try and stir up rivalry.
Sad and sickening to hear Tory Cabinet Ministers apologising for the last 14 years and letting down the British people.
Braverman and Hunt? Fffs. I pity our Country.
Did no one notice Rishi's wife bought an umbrella :P
Baker; if that’s how you feel, don’t stand you door nail…
I hope they never come to power again
To quote Nick Abbot “this wasn’t a government, it was a smash and grab raid”
What I am expecting is the Tories will fall to infighting even further, once Sunak steps down they will rip each other apart like a pack of starving dogs all wanting the big seat, so forget 131 seats, I’m expecting them fracture even further and either abandon the party or form smaller factions within the ruins.
They've been doing that since 2016. Boris was/is a clown but he's getting off to lightly for his contribution to this humiliation
I expect that Reform is going to quadruple its MPs from Tory defections alone.
Yeah, it typically takes 5-10 years of in fighting before the party that lost power gets back on track, then another election or 2 to get on message and organised.
Finally I have found something I have in common with Mr Rees-Mogg: We both love that Caractacus Potts quote from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
