The UN Charter and the UDHR were created in the wake of the atrocities of WW2, so that no people should ever have to experience what went on in WW2. So then Mr Whiteman from 1981, why is Israel permitted to execute the same atrocities with impunity that its people suffered during WW2.

Bingo !!
I notice they never answer certain questions, 1. Would Israel deploy the same tactics if the enemy were hiding in Israel. And 2. Any question pointing the source of the issue, which is the illegal occupation and apartheid.
It is called Hasbara. It is a form of propaganda. There are handbooks that are provided by the state of Israel and also by different Zionist organisations. People can rehearse answer to questions. They explain different methods to sway people, gain points, make it seem like they have a point, etc. Actually the one I read explained to use the argument that "Israel is not perfect, just like no other country is" and to say that Israel is held to a different standard than other countries. Actually if you read it you will start to see the same talking points used everywhere.
Its actually the wrong questions you ask. Israeli society would never allow a terrorist to knowingly hide amongst them. Second, what is this illegal occupation and apartheid you talk of? There is not a single Israeli law which defines what people can do, based on there ethnicity. As for occupation, Gaza was self-ruled and buggered that up. The so-called West Bank has no sovereignty, so by international law, it cannot be occupied. if the so-called Palestinian people want independence, all they have to do is agree to stop killing Israelis and claim it.
