You cannot polish or clean items with a wire wheel on a drill. You need a grinder @ 3600 rpm. Do you own a file? File down sharp edges please. Many of those gears needed machining do you own a lathe? milling machine?
I usually enjoy restoration videos. 80% of this was just about how to remove rust with screwdrivers and needle nose pliers. My Mechanics is much, much, better.
@aahands No, I'm sorry. I was just being grumpy, and I apologize. I used to wind motors, but in industrial facilities. The winders we used were high speed computerized machines, and I'm fascinated by what you've shown thus far. I've never seen something like that that's that old and purely mechanical, and well, it's cool to me to at least, regardless. Apologies again. My wife died last year, and I'm sometimes erratic, I guess you could say. And I don't mean that as an excuse, either. It's an explanation of sorts. 🤷♂️ Have a good day. 👍
A demonstration about how this works as a motor winder would have been good. I spent over a decade as a winder. Also, The Scraping Of The Rust may seem to be an important aspect of the video, but it gets really monotonous, really quick.
This is not restorated. This is only cleaned and painted. At 7:53 you see how it was, before it were covered in mud. Little fakes for entertainment. Thumb down.
When I find a new restoration Channel I always do one thing. I look at the list of videos and the condition of the products they're restoring inside the pictures. If it looks like everything in every picture is absolutely caked in mud to the point you cannot tell what it is then I don't believe anything in the videos. If it looks like someone just dumped it in the bucket of seawater and left it for 3 months and then drag it out to do a video I'm not interested I don't mind rust I just don't want to deal with something that was deliberately damaged to make a video.
The restoration it self is hella nice, but I can recommend to speed up some of the disassembly processes, first it’s kinda boring anyway, most people are in for the mechanical work, Second ,it just makes the video a shorter and negligible for people in general. Great work tho 👍🏻
@@Simonsimon-fy3hq of corse, but why should a great video be fast forwarded? Imo great video is one you want to watch from start to finish and sadly the starts here are just not it
This is not a restoration video its rather a cleaning and painting job
😇😇Thanks
Man,your work is appreciatable.....Like magic...rusty machine looks like a new one.....Way to go brother...❤good job.
Paint looks good under the mud
It's nice to see someone fill the pitting in a metallic surface. This adds more shine, rejuvenating the metal upon polish.
Super jest to zrobione i odrestaurowane maszynka pozdrowiam serdecznie 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Love how the stupid cards come up at the end and completely cover the end result. Ffs.

you can't demonstrate how to use it. it is too rusted away to work any more. you should have just scrapped it.
No, now this Kamlesh of yours can be used properly.
I'm a simple man, no post restoration demonstration = no like. You HAVE to give a demo. It's like restoration blue balls over here.

It takes a lot of hard work to make videos like this. 😨

Using a small blade and tweezers rather than wire brush to start ? Purely padding out the clip. Boring !
If you had a sandblasting machine, you would save a lot of effort and money
Of course you are right, In Sha Allah we will try in the next video.
That's Good Idea We Will definitely Try

You commented that the start of the video is "boring', so you obviously don't think it's that great do you?@@Ar1k986
Sorry, this was a beginner restauration
Of course you are right, we are trying to do the best we can.
Get yourself a sand blaster. Could have shortened the video by 10 minutes. And quit throwing parts on the table like all the other resto youtuber's do
So who uploaded this video first? I see another channel called Let's Restoration that has the same thumbnail and the same title.
too bad the end was covered up by links to other videos
you told me i go and fix it

A typical hack restoration for the sake of likes. DISLIKE.
Let's make the next video better next time.
