This butcher has absolutely no concept whatsoever of the word RESTORE!!!!!! At best it was a hack (aka crappy) job of a repair! Absolutely not a restoration!!!
There was so much concrete and rust jacking that it had no hope of coming apart without destruction, even if you soaked the whole thing in a 55 gallon drum of any lubricant or oil.

I've never seen anybody try so hard to destroy something that they claim they wanted to restore! You didn't try to clean it at all on the outside or soak the whole thing in penetrating cleaner or diesel. You didn't use a gear puller, you just started trying to break things apart instead of just dismantling! You are using a steel rod instead of a brass rod. You should know a steel rod will damage the parts that you should be protecting. And the parts that you broke will never be restored!!! They have been forever altered!!! That is probably not even the right type or color of paint for that restoration!!! Sledgehammer and chisel for everything!!! This guy is nothing more than a butcher!!!! If I hired someone to do a restoration and this is what they did I would fire them and sue them for reckless and premeditated damage of historic artifacts!!!!
