I've had Art Scape frosted window film on my bathroom window for years. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put a huge window above the bathtub and facing the neighbors' house needs to rethink their career.
I can top that. My master bath has not 1 but 2 huge windows. One is facing my neighbor on the north side, the second one is facing the west side (backyard). Yep, no privacy at all. So I can sympathize with you.
Agreed, we have one that faces our neighbors house. During the summer it's fine because the trees are full and you can't see in but during the winter it's a pain.
A felt chalkboard eraser also works well to smooth peel and stick wallpaper. It doesn't stretch the paper and lessens your chances of causing a tear or scratch on the surface.
My Uncle made stain glass windows and those peel and stick do look as real. Very pretty, I love the colorful ones the best. You are so very creative. 💕
Years ago, we paid a small fortune to replace two large windows in our master bath with frosted glass windows. Now I love them, and they are beautiful, but I could have use several of the products you used today and saved at least $1000!😱 I especially like the window cover that looks like leaded glass. I'll be ordering that one!!💜💜
This was a fantastic video!! The contractor for the house that we bought thought that it was a good idea to have . . . not 1, but 2 BIG windows in the bathroom. Both of them are in the corner of my bathtub!!! One faces the side of my neighbors house and the other faces the backyard, so . . . 3 neighbors could easily see my master bath!!! Thanks for letting me be aware of the Art Scape window film. I'm definitely going to check it out. You've had some great videos, but this one is at the top of my list. Thank you!
We used that regent design on a couple of windows in our home, including the frosted glass over our master bath (which was not quite frosted enough for my wife's comfort). We get compliments on this every time anyone sees it. They assume it's lead framed glass. Very good product!
I LOVE this idea!! My son has a huge picture window in his living room. It gets sun from the middle of the day until the sun goes down. So needless to say, it gets really hot and the glare gets to be a bit much too. He has a beautiful shade on that window but I think putting a peel and stick on the window would just be perfect. I’m going shopping today and I think I’m gonna swing by Lowe’s and/or Home Depot and get one for his window. This is just a great idea. ❤️💜💚
I love all of your ideas, Kathryn! My husband and I just did the vanity wall in our guest master suite! I need to redo it so thank you for sharing your hacks. Hopefully, it will be easier. My mother-in-law told me to start in the middle of the wall because walls are not straight like you said. Again, thank you for sharing all of your ideas & hacks with us! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
Love the peal and stick on the curved wall! AND thank you for the painter tape tip! I have done a LOT of wallpapering…real paper that has to be “pasted and booked.” It gives you time to sort of slide the paper into place. I imagine the peal and stick doesn’t have that trait. Even though you can peal it off an re-stick. However, your tip to tape the paper to get it in the correct position is genius! I’m ready to try the peal and stick now 🥰❤️
I can't renovate my kitchen until we are the wonderful owners of it. So we bought 2 gallons of paint for $10.00.. the wonders of returned paint. Then we got wall paper for $8, and dollar tree vinyl for the countertops. Works wonders.
In Ontario, Canada all the stores that sell paint in the past few years have increased the price of mis tints and returns to crazy prices, lucky we still have the re-store it's called and we can find a gallon for 10.00
Spring for better quality vinyl for the countertops or use a surface resealing product from a hardware store because that dollar store vinyl shouldn't be in contact with food.
I just love how the blue wall paper came out on that curved wall!❤ These are such great ideas for glass windows 🪟 that window treatments just don’t fit. Thank you 😊
I literally just got done recovering a bedroom door with peel and stick, then sat down to watch TV and here was this video. I LOVE peel and stick- used it on windows, doors, tables. Great video!
I am totally in love with these hacks! I live in a third floor condo where the patio doors face west toward an apartment building. Privacy is a huge concern. I’m wondering if I could apply the frosted film, or even some of the stain glass film to my patio doors. My mind is a buzz thinking of the possibilities!🥰
I use a dollar tree peel and stick in my home 🏡 I haven't had any problems with it. Thanks for sharing this information with us 👍🏾 I love watching your videos very interesting and inspiring 😊
I am so glad you shared these! We just moved this past month and we have these beautiful doors on our front porch that have windows that cover most of the doors. I didn’t want blinds or curtains on them. The frosted window film is a great idea! It keeps people from peeking in, but still allows the light to shine through. And I love the peel and stick tile idea for underneath the sinks. And the wallpaper tips! Thank you so so much! So excited to use these products in our new home! ❤
It’s been my experience that window clings, no matter what brand, shrinks. To be safe, cut it about a quarter of an inch bigger and let it sit on your window for a couple months and then trim if needed. Glad you did.
I used the peel and stick from dollar tree on my back splash. It is the brown and gray bricks. It looks so great. I am now using peel and stick from dollar tree on a dresser I got for free. I put the gray wood grain on the sides and the beautiful blue/gray butterflies on the front drawers. It looks gorgeous. Going to do the tile in my kitchen & bathroom under the sinks. Thanks for your ideas!
Hello my darling. When I feel a little down I love to watch your videos, I love your content but also you are just so happy. You sound happy, you look happy and that happiness rubs off. But one thing that makes me really sad is that we don’t have Dollar Tree here in England. I may need to move to the USA. Take care. Xxx
Just a FYI...I used the removable stickers on a wood cabinet of mine many years ago (about 15 years ago). After about 5 years, I tried to remove them, and found that they had permanently adhered to the surface. I haven't tried a hair drier, as I decided to simply leave the stickers where they are. I haven't tried using any since, but know others that have, and they found the same thing to happen. I'm just posting this information so others can take heed that they may end up with a permanent decoration, or need to use extra effort to remove the stickers. I love the projects you showed. I just may try the window cling stuff on one of my apartment windows. 🙂
The peel and stick from the dollar tree. The company that makes the peel and stick tiles has a website, and you purchase directly from them if you want to change things up.
I love gallery glass. I did a bathroom window and door glass. Beautiful. ONE CAUTION you can't see out. But you can see from outside in when the light is on. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
I myself did the bathroom, bedroom and hallway floors with peel and stick marble looking tiles from ..home depot..Best decision i have ever made.3 years sew far😂and still perfect. I didn't grout in-between tiles.❤❤❤❤
That looks so amazing. I appreciate how honest you are about how it has held up. I did some Temu window film that looks ok, but you have inspired me to make that bathroom window really pop with a better window film.
If you lived near me, I would hire you to help me upgrade my ugly old apartment! Being disabled, I have the desire to what you do, but not the mobility. Oh, I am no debbie-downer, I try, but I want to do things like a feature wall, but, I cannot reach above my head nor can I climb. Any advice for those of us stuck on the floor?
@@t.h.8475 I’m sure there’s some high school club like Key Club, Art Club. There might also be some project help through the YMCA, United Way, Rotary, Kiwanis or church group. I know through the United Way, some of our Day of Caring at work we stained fences for elderly/disabled.
Kinda sounds like you gave up before you tried. Have you seen the handicapped olympics? Those people probably didn’t think they could either. They didn’t give up though. They pushed themselves to be the best they can be. They didn’t just give up and ask others to do it for them. You got this! Start with the floor.
Wonderful job beautiful i have collected stacks of peel and stick designs for 3 yrs from different places to do my home especially my bathroom, kitchen i watch you u make it look so easy..
Hi Kathryn, I have had the stained-glass cling on my front door windows for years. I then added the opaque non-colored cling to my garage door windows as well. LOVE this stuff 💛 I love that Regent design in your window 💙 And OMG, that Gallery Glass stuff is SO COOL!!! 😎 I love that look, too!!! I enjoy all your tips, but most of all your sweet high energy. 🙏🏼 for you and your family. Blessings from Carson City, NV 🙃
So good Kathryn! I never thought about putting it under my sink. Great idea! And i have the frosted grid looking film on the bathroom window facing the neighbors. It has lasted for years despite the steam from the bathroom. ❤

I have a huge window in my shower.. we put the peel-and-stick glass stuff on it 5 years ago and it's still going strong! I really like the under-the-counter laminate! that seems like it would protect that wood under there so much better if there is a leak!
I have wanted to put this on my window that faces the road for so long but I've not been able to find any that I can afford, it is a huge window. You may have solved my problem. Thank you for all of your great ideas.
I just love this show. You’ve given me some great options for privacy needs and also the peel and stick tiles. Most importantly you make me happy just watching your shows. Thanks so SO much!

Kathryn, this is an amazing video!! Cannot believe you did all of these ideas!!! The grandma chic cabinet looked fabulous!! I've never seen those two products that you showed from DT at any of mine, and I go to several. They are neat!! Love the Regent design. Very elegant. The floral stained glass is pretty, too. The glue design was interesting on the door glass. The curved wall turned out exquisite!! Thanks so much for sharing your tips and tricks with this, also. Love it!!
I did use the peel and stick wallpaper from Dollar Tree after seeing a video. It's been up almost 1 year (11 months) and for the most part looks great. However, there are a few pieces that have bubbled and/or seem to have shifted ever so slightly. The wall is just outside my bathroom, so not sure if humidity is the culprit, but overall, for around $30, I think it's definitely worth it!
Wow Kathryn those peel and stick design are absolutely fantastic. Must say for me not the easiest to put on but I did my kitchen backsplash with one and I love it. Now I just have to seal it with some lacquar. 🎉🎉🎉

Gallery glass is awesome. I did the top of my kitchen window with the colors and a texas bluebonnets design over 10 years ago and it still looks as good as day one. I have shade trees so it gets almost no direct sunlight. I suspect that if it did the colors may have faded more but not sure. Heidi

you went round that curve effortlessly wow i used it a lot when the children where small now they dont draw on walls but still messy teenagers great ideas i love the privacy film i have it on my windows
I've used the Art Scape for years. I have a back door that is half glass and lacked privacy. I put a beautiful stained glass pattern on it. It's been ten years and still looks great, plus it puts a beautiful pattern on the walls when the sun comes through

I gotta redo mine, got a couple bubbles
@@gdiup9241 An easy way to fix a few bubbles is to prick them with a needle, then with your fingers press out the air through the tiny hole.

I love the one the host used with her 1/2 circle window. It looks just like stained glass! Very Luxe! Love it

The peel and stick glass film...if you have a clear shower door...it makes for a pretty one.
That peel and stick wallpaper looks awesome on that rounded wall! I can’t even see the seams!

That wall paper in your dining room is GORGEOUS!
So is the wall. I love it! I’m still trying to figure out how they built it. I’ve never seen Sheetrock shaped any other way than flat.
Hey Kathryn. Great video. Given me the confidence to give it a try.😊
