It is super exciting to see that new Agu Bond and Gabu Bond ACE cards are gonna be coming after making this video! Definitely looking forward to making more content for these decks again!
The new bond of bravery ace from the LM may be useful as a level 7 in wargreymon deck because it can digivolve from Agumon as long as you have 2 security or less
I remember for a short time, used yellow hybrid tamers with this to recover after you fulfil the condition. Nowadays, you csn consider running a build with the dual color agus for marcus and tai searching as well as the ace cards magnamon for instance to make it more viable. Also McAguBond. Reqlly was most consistent with jetS at 4
It is kinda incorrect to say that agubond itself didn't get anymore support, knowing that the new bt14 skullgreymon is clearly cattered to it when compared with the newer greymon decks and variants
@@Dan_the_Druid yea, but I can see the argument in saying the rest of the greymon stuff there fitting a more grey/evo focused variant compared to an agubond one. Saying that Skullgrey isn't almost tailored made for agubond is impossible tho
@@davem3274 I mean I agree with you, but the new Greymon wants you to swing with it for a boost, and what other deck wants you to swing with Lv. 4 Greymons, other than AguBond? Also, it's a shame that MetalGreymon Ace doesn't have much of a home anywhere and is one of the most medicore Ace Digimon.
@@Dan_the_Druid also true, but the buff and memory given can be considered "generic enough" by some, hence the understanding Greymon is a funny case of having tons of support, but the most mediocre (yet fair) aces and the most boring optimal strategy (otk red base) in the midst of other control/mid-range options. Hope that phases out some day
The Wargrey, Greymon, and Tai also all go towards boosting Agubond. If you mix in some of the Shinegrey stuff such as the banned GeoGrey, it's very playable.
I like the idea of mixing the bond decks but if not, I also like the idea of Agu bond capitalizing on some benefit wile at low or zero security, maybe a new Agumon with an inherit effect to enable Agu bond to delete multiple Digimon rather than just one, what do you think?
...because the signature card is powercrept! Agumon - Bond of Bravery (BoB) has too many conditions and hoops to jump through when modern, even rogue-tier decks can do what BoB brings to the table (clear big bodies, remove security) for fewer memory and no security downside. On a serious note, I really love that you've cultivated and maintained this series! It's a very cool perspective and exploration, particularly for budget and limited-resource players (or those playing in a more casual format). Without knowing what other archetypes or decks you're thinking about creating future content for, it'd be cool for these explorations to cover recently-supported decks that just straight-up don't see play. A couple thoughts come to mind: - Amphimon (Jellymon deck) - Bagra Army - Birds & Beasts (Marsmon & Phoenixmon) - Chessmon - DarkKnightmon / Twilight - Forgotten Hybrid decks: Black, Purple - Rosemon: Burst Mode - Tyrannomon All of these have had one or more rounds of support in the last few sets, have solid card pools to work with, get boosts from the Training cards, and yet we never see these in any level of competitive play. Regardless, thanks for continuing to put out this informative, highly-polished, and enjoyable content!
Without even watching this almost 10 minute video I can tell you why both this and Gabu-bond aren’t played as much as they used to be:They do not have a rule saying they are treated as Greymon or Garurumon. I imagine if we get new cards for them in BT17 they will have that appropriate rule because all of the support has basically only accounted for Omni at the top end
Been a bond player since bt6 and I take offense to this lol!!! The new lui tamer and analog youth fits with the deck perfectly cause the drawing and gaining memory isn’t once per turn. I have a list on my channel that I have changed a bit since but still good place to start to see how the deck plays out in this format.
I will say this title is immediately misleading as i have been seeing agumon bond of bravery making a comeback recently thanks to new stuff from the last few sets
@@eduardomarin2634It has topped a couple times at my locals. The BT14 Greymon cards make it pretty beast because you can be swinging for 10k with a champion.

The archetype already got everything it needs. Instead of rookie rush its champion rush with the bt14 greymon and similar, then bt14 skullgreymon for removal and then you use agubond and sec wargreymon for bigger removal and not going for a specific win condition just rushing. Your removal actually excellerates your gameplan so it they try to stop you they just tend to dig themselves a deeper hole. Have been playing with this and it rarely looses, even winning against meta decks, besides miragegaogamon. Its not that its not good enough or its missing support, its that it just hasnt gotten traction as a deck again cuz no one knows it got support. Heck after playing it someone was trying to built gabubond in a similar manner.

I’m actually rebuild my bond of bravery deck. So kinda misleading considering that there’s plenty of updated deck lists for it as well recently

If they ever do print new bonds, I hope they both have (On Deletion) Recovery +1 to make up for the loss of security when you warp into them.
Even better, Agubond Ace just let's you warp without drawback if you have below a certain number of security.

Thanks for sharing your insights!
Darkknightmon and rosemon and tyrannomon are definitely still played
The new SEC Wargreymon makes agubond pretty playable again
the biggest crime of this deck, is that changed Courage to Bravery. I always say Bonds of Courage.
That is true! The amount of times I've been saying Courage while recording was unreal!
I test usin a yellow base usin odins breath and revelation of light and men it was really fun

There's Eosmon in BT17. 👀

There's hope for BT17, it's confirmed to be getting Menoa and Eosmon support, so Bonds could get something too.
omg rly! eosmon love finally white love also

Can you build agu bond deck?
It been confirmed where getting bond of ace cards so another agumon bond
Gabubond was so drastically better than agubond it was kinda ridiculous
I'm really excited to try and fit the new Agubond Ace into my Wargreymon deck. It looks very promising
