Thanks! It is a pretty good choice to work with especially with so much effect removal from more meta decks! Let me know how it goes when you test it!!
I would recommend an EX6 Raijiludomon as a tech to force opponents to attack with one of their main bodies before they can take any real actions on their turn. It is great vs the Magnamon X match up as you would be able to Maste Ace before he becomes immune by some other action that turn.
@@carloscalva5771 At least 1, 2 if you think you can fit it in. The more often you see the better you will feel about ending turn with just your angewomon/ladydevimon out haha.
@@kiriocity Yeah! It helps solve the problem of your weak level 5s needing to survive in order for you to ace. I feel like they get bounced or destroyed before I ever have a chance to Ace. I reinspired to run the card again after a real good player in JP named Misao ran it. He's a Maste guru.
Huh, I had no idea that bt14 pata -> bt15 gatomon combo worked, but looking at the rulings around whether you can gain memory when played by mastemon or similar, the conclusion is that if the removal from the security stack is simultaneous with it starting to be in play, it does get to trigger. I really could have seen that ruling going either way... regardless, interesting profile! Personally I do not think bt14 patamon is a card that should have been printed, partially because of not liking how crazily spiky its performance is, so I've stayed away from yellow base myself, but there's still ideas to gather from the rest of the vid; I'd really not thought of burst mode ace since I've always seen this post-ex6 deck as being made to get 1 of each tamer and no more, due to bt11's restrictions and ex6's inherent memory hogging with the trigger condition and effect, but more bt11 mirei always gains memory, and aces always good.. hm. I'm curious though, what about the amber memory boosts do you see as so gamechanging for the deck? I've always felt like post-ex6 the deck basically has enough searching, between both good gatomon having strong conventional searches, ex6 angewomon to filter security, and in yellow base pata to do the same whereas purple can also access more resources through its recursion, and my problem has always been having the deck's "thing" actually be impactful enough to win games, which this doesn't change. I guess it's probably pretty good when trying to do a combo based around ex6 mirei that *doesn't* end the turn? Which is probably a good priority to have. Also, happy to see someone else still running ordinemon, it can turn around games like nothing else in the right circumstances. This is getting a bit far afield from your build in particular, but I don't know anyone who plays maste so I don't have alternative people to bounce ideas off of - what are your thoughts on running more bt8 kari in purple bases (or just generally builds that run bt16 salamon) in order to be able to set memory after spending memory when you play that salamon via a scramble? People have theorised similar things around red/purple imperial iirc, which probably benefits a lot more, but I don't think I've seen the thought floated in maste, and it could theoretically make setters more worth playing. At the same time, might get kinda bricky relative to how useful it actually is, and the 3/3 mirei split is so clean that it's hard to figure out how to even change things to accommodate it... maybe it's just a bad idea, but it's intriguing at least. Edit: Also I was wondering about your choice of egg, over tokomon. What makes the -2k worth it over the card draw, for you? I'd get it if the stated usecase was sniping floodgate rookies, but you mention minusing blockers, and I'm curious which decks you're running into where that's a common concern to deal with? I can't deny though that managing to stack all the minus DP is nice when the ex6 line fully lines up, but with any other stack it seems mediocre to me. Did the amber boost adding consistency mean that getting consistency via the eggs was less important?
I'll try to answer each of these: Mastemon is Greedy with Memory, having Amber Memory that is 2 cost and doesn't require 2 colours to activate, it just needs 1 and it can grab a yellow OR purple which means I don't whiff on a Yellow Mem only hitting purple sources (and vice versa). The Gatos do well at searching... but it is quite a heavy cost (5, 4, or 2). you should join the discord! we have a good handful of players who are versed in Maste! Kari is a good one to run as a memory setter, but in a purple base, your only real security adds would be from angewomon and mastemon... so you wouldn't get the full value, in a yellow base Kari is a pretty good option to work with. I find when I have been playtesting, the Wanya paired with ex6 salamon and gatomon can cause some heafty DP reductions to your opponents and wide blocker boards. which helps if you have to swing with your Ace (and it has no alliance underneath) I've been able to consistently dp- by 6 with my angewomon with barrier which makes for a good cheeky swing at security!
Purple base is VERY strong - it’s all about playstyle and how you wanna roll! Both versions are a lot of fun and moving much faster now thanks to amber memory and scrambles!
Great list! Have you considered running the limited BT13 Geogreymon? feels like a great way to cheat out a free Mirei (if lucky enough), even more if it comes off from a single patamon play
The geogrey was in my deck for quite a long time! Its a fantastically tech choice!!! Its one of those cards I keep playing with. It’s actually in my cendril deck at the moment cause I run more Arisas in that deck compared to my mirei line 😂😂

The codyTK is still pretty good with its de digivolve and gain a memory - I debated on talking about it in the video too! However with my patamons only being at 4 I felt I wasn’t accessing the full value of the card - plus shadow seraphi can do a good job at de-digivolving mid swing which fights off Magnax better if they don’t blinding ray 👀
I'm only passing by to judge. Good list :)
Thanks!! Hopefully I can get comfortable with it and do us Mastemon players proud 😭
This is such a comprehensive deck profile. You've really thought of everything! 😲
I like the Dominimon inclusion. I'll have to try that too.

How much of him you recomend to play. I was concidering add to the deck to
If I had the card in my possession - I might just have to! I didn’t even think of that as an option, baiting the ace play like that is good to do

Mastemon is back, but the dogs are causing problems & lordknightmon is nuts.
I think the toughest play for maste now is purple hybrid - or maybe I just dont know the deck well enough to counter it
@kiriocity nah I know what you mean. With the new rule about having to be same color for blast DNA is wack.
