Solid training with the bro. He made a smart decision. imo somebody needs to call it after that many run ats. its tough but especially when all their runs are correct speed and they're not going, it means they're likely going to micro adjust when they finally hit it (usually too fast, but of course sometimes too slow, especially on a 40). also as he mentioned I don't like towing in for these things. I just want to watch others go, listen to their bike, and trust my own speed. Can't wait to see the vid when he eventually goes and greases it.
I feel you bro. That's a massive booter. I'm actually impressed Daniel is sending that after only been riding a few years. Table tops are one thing but getting over the fear of a gap that big is hectic.
@@BIRDDZ_ No doubt. It's unfortunate we don't have well funded MTB specific trail centers with progressive jump lines like the pnw or other places. The MTB alliance guys do a fantastic job but it's quite a big step up from anything else around and trusting things outside of their builds can be daunting!!
Massive respective to both of you. Him for making a smart decision to have many run ups and try it another day. To you for guiding him by him following your speed.
Great video! Your buddy definitely has the skills to hit it. It’s crazy how fear and anxiety take over I was there a week ago and got bucked off on the top section resulting in 2 broken ribs. Can’t wait to get back and get my redemption
You have a smart friend! If he's not feeling it, it's not worth the risk especially on a high consequence jump. He got his run-ins, and finish the ride unscathed. Definitely the smart decision, and judging by his run ins the next time he's gonna fly off it and land super-smooth!!
When I left there last Saturday, I saw you guys peddling up, and your trucks parked at the bottom. I was going to stay and find you guys, but I really had to go home to the wife and kids. I drive the white Ram with the Velocirax.

Yeah I like to watch and learn to. But there have been some cases I follow I guess it’s just a feeling…yeah can’t wait til he hits it 😎

Yes it’s big but it was built so well it actually feels like a big table top going over 😎

I think we need a full season on party wave and west ridge before doing this brotha! I bet you'd still make it though!
@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ the big table top on west ridge at the bottom is the same feeling as fafo 👊🏼

Yup 100% agree 💪🏼
Once that anxiety creeps in, it’s over. Smart of him not to hit after anxiety level got that high.
Yeah he’s ready for the next time 💪🏼
No shame in that! Hell nah I’m too old to even think about the consequences 🥴Good show though! You Got it🤘🏻
Age is just a number my friend :) 💪🏼👊🏼

Gaps. They mess with your head. Even when you know you've got it.
I agree but once you start small and progress they can be so fun 🤩
good call. sometimes you gotta just come back after having slept on it.
Yeah, he’ll get it next time 😎
Live to jump another day son! Sometimes you hit drops jumps ect... And dont hit rhem the next time. Sometimes you're just not feeling it!
