Check out what JCB are doing with hydrogen they are building the hydrogen engine with the same block as the standard diesel block, sounds amazing and produces similar power and torque to. The future of the ICE is hydrogen with the whistles and pops.
I’m amazed you guys haven’t covered the story of the two blokes that are building a car to set the new Australian Cannonball Record… That’s cool automotive news.
This show WAS completely random. I thought Moog was channeling his inner airline cabin crew announcement, with, "We appreciate you have other media choices, blah, blah", sign off. I guess he'll really really appreciate all 38 of us coming back for EP110. ;-)
Hey boys. You got a big shoutout from Sarah n tuned on her live chat this morning (Australian eastern). When she was asked what car channels she watches, MCM was her first response! You should reach out for a collaboration- would be magic!
She's great! And yeah, a collab could be good but what would they even collab on? I figure the boys could visit the US and meet up with a bunch of US car channels, but I don't think they want to do another build thing like they did with Roadkill all those years ago.
Chemist here, so there is some interesting things for Hydrogen. First of all, energy storage, you don't need huge batteries and you can run a fuel cell to recharge a smaller plug in battery. Their is a big energy input required to make H2 though, and there is issues around Storage. So it's not by it's self, a complete solution. There is some interesting things around Hydrogen, and how it can be used as a way to extend the range for Electric heavy transport. But yeah, there is a lot of things, it's real complex, and we're all living in some interesting times for Personal Transport.
In the Mansel era the active suspension was pre programmed every bump and load for the racing line of the circuit, during the race the drivers were mainly accelerating and braking steering was made easier while they were on line because of the suspension adopting the right angle for each corner as the car approached not as a result of load from steering.
Hands down BEST EPISODE EVER. Seriously, you guys just keep getting better and better. You hit me in the giggles, blew my worm hole, and tickled my... well, anyway, great job guys!
I MUST FIND THE HOT WHEELS!!😮 My 2 boys and I collect them. My father collected them. It's a family thing. Thank Moog and Marty for EVERYTHING y'all do. Cheers from FL!
Just wanna say thanks for doing Unicorn Circuit. I love your main channel but when I wake up and chuck on brekkie and I'm having a nice chill day, unicorn circuit is just one of those nice things that makes my day a lot better 😊
The biggest thing in hardstyle is that the beat is nearly always a kick drum played backwards. Makes it sound super harsh. It used to be a huge thing in Australia in the days of Stereosonic. Showtek and Headhunterz etc.
There is a long history of racing rental cars here in America, look up the Hertz Rent-a-racer program in the 60s,. Shelby prepped Mustangs the GT-350H, many of them were found with the vestiges of roll-cage welding marks under the carpet years later.
It's not sauce that comes with Pizza in France, it's chili oil. You can lightly sprinkle it over the pizza, it goes really well with it, makes the dough/crust much better in my opinion You can make your own by simply marinating peppers in oil, but be careful the longer it marinates the hotter it gets
Taking a rental to the track is a thing in the US, met 2 guys at our local tracking capentown each with slow ass rentals ripping it just for fun. They actually went to see who's car is slower lol
Hydrogen does use more power to create than it saves however, the benefit comes that you can produce what they refer to as "green" hydrogen. Where you use renewable sources to create it such as solar or wind.
That's interesting. There are places here in the US where you can rent supercars to hot-lap at the track in a controlled environment but haven't heard of a dealer renting a car out like that. If it was Budget or Avis, you could rent it and thrash it to your heart's content as long as you had the renter's insurance, and they would just take it back from you and rent it to the next guy in line.
I had a buddy that was a race car driver. One of the circuits he took part in, everybody would fly into a city with gear and magnetic numbers. They'd all rent the same size car. Then they'd meet up at a GPS point and flog the cars hard and turn them back in. Checking the box for cheap extra rental insurance was important.
in Canada, the rental contract's state that you care not allowed to take the car on a track or race it in any way this is also stated in most car lease agreements, so be careful if you don't actually own your car...
Hydrogen is not needed to replace petrol… but to power electric motor is is efficient. The computer changing setting per lap isn’t a new thing, so you can get better lap times.
Good work. Always fun, but where's the RX7? I priced up some nuggety JDM kei goodness, but I would have to sacrifice other stuff that I don't think I'm ready to sell yet. So I remain Daihatsu free.
Actually the pizza cutting depends on if it's a casual pizza for breakfast or if it's gonna be a more formal meal. It also depends on the region how they cut it, if they will, or what shape your pizza will even be in some instances. Regional Italian pizza is super diverse.
I bought a black leather steering wheel cover for my crap car (as right now the steering wheel looks like previous owner steered with her teeth for 100 000km) Wheel cover that had some ugly white stitching. So i decided to sharpie those stitchings black and had this episode of unicorn circuit running for background noise - i already listened newest one through (yep, sharpieing whole cover's stitching took over an hour). So during that i went to have a pee and when i came back Marty had his face flat on the table snorting like people who enjoy Hardstyle music events on the weekends. Man, seems like discussing frenchcore music escalated hard.
Fun fact, in NZ rentals are chipped to not go any faster than 140km. I know this because I worked as a transfer driver for a rental company moving cars from city to city. Pay was flat rate depending on kilometres travelled. On the limiter the whole way was the best way to increase the hourly rate.
The A.I. race car comments made me think of the Williams F1 car that had active suspension in the 90's. Was that the first A.I. car? Hummmm. Great show...shows. ty for your time guys.
I have a rs5 with bc forged 20x10.5 running 285/30/20 Michelin Pilot sport 4s. Mounted and Balanced around $2000. New Brakes off one run on a 21 Supra $4000? Doubtful. I’m wearing the Tokyo MCM chopped sweatshirt as I write. Love the show from Sarasota Florida, United States.
"fun to work on"? The car renowned for having an engine bay absolutely stuffed to the gills with shit everywhere that makes it a massive job just to do something like change the spark plugs is "absolute fun to work on"?!? They're absolutely sick cars and I'd love a 2 seater twin turbo manual hardtop, but "fun to work" on they are NOT.
If he did a landscape record at bonneville or at el mirage then then there is likely some pretty good damage. Bonneville is a salt flat and el mirage is a dried up lake bed in the mojave desert.
These two just set into motion the beginnings of Skynet. The A.I. has just realised it doesn't have the ability to physically hurt its human overlords. It has begun looking for a means to rectify this.
A lot of racing series have programs that limit acceleration, increase traction control, etc turn by turn based on each track they visit. Its not necessarily AI but a lot of racers would not be able to ride as fast as they do without the ECU electronics, I'm thinking of Motorbike racing. I'm sure it's similar for cars.
I've heard motorcyclists ask if they can rent a bike from a ride share app and take it on track, i think it's unfair to do that without the owners consent. Also not sure of the ride share insurance would cover it in the event of a crash.
quality content boys, esp. Marty trying to snort Granola. at least you've given the rest of the world something to look up on urbandictionary - search term... "eshay"
I was fascinated by the tall boxy Kei cars when I was visiting Japan. With your typical tiny Japenese person driving them, it looks like there's a good 50cm of headroom, which seems so bizarre. It's like they're designed for people to be able to drive while wearing a top hat.
USA rental car (and also in Europe) there are insurance issues when you rent a car from a proper rental company and then take that car to the race track. In Germany they have car rental places next to the Nürburgring where you can rent a race car and then take it on the track. Not so sure about that car borrowing service and if they have any clauses in their legal documentation, but I think even if they do at some point the insurance will override because most car insurance will not insure your car if you are on a racetrack with it if anything should happen. Not an insurance agent nor a lawyer just speaking from what I know personally.
Ya know, I'd never thought about it before, but hiring a car and putting a turbo on it, and then returning it to stock in record time sounds inevitable!
Objectively, there is no good reason to watch this episode, as Moog is alluding to near the end. Subjectively, I was entertained, bewildered and possibly informed, so that works? Plus, it’s not like it hurts to take your time over breakfast with a video in the background on a Saturday morning
They're exploring free hydrogen, they thought it didn't exist underground but have found some. If it is available then it's a great alternative fuel swap.
Genuinely tried to discern what moog was whispering in the beginning but idk if because I’m hard of hearing or it just wasn’t clear. … no idea what he said lol

Put Too Sexy up against that Supra and watch the Supra get chopped.

no way these guys are "just" friends, Marty is 100% Moogs care taker 🤣
he's moog's handler!
“Where is the RX7?” It was sent as a mystery gift…
They had to sell it to pay for the new graphics
I’m amazed you guys haven’t covered the story of the two blokes that are building a car to set the new Australian Cannonball Record… That’s cool automotive news.
Where can i get more info on this?

F5 is hell of a tool
Hey guys, #13 here, I appreciate the time you take to make this quality weekly content. Keep it up, I truly look forward to every episode.
I thought I was number13 !
@@seanwarren9307 lol mate if you smoke more than a compound turbo diesel then by all means.

Moog asking about the rx7 is the sane as me asking about Marty's Gemini hurry up with it lad
100% was a good find.
The intro for the "comments section" bit had a bigger budget than the last 2 Avengers movies.
Scotty Kilmer says where's the Rx7.
RIP
More like rev up your RX7
Marty’s face when moog asked “do you care what your donkey ate” 😂😂😂
I want that on a T shirt
Where is the RX7 😂🤣😂🤣... love this banter between you guys.

More importantly Italy is banning the use of bugs in their food
This is by far the best 4WD, turbo, conspiracy, food, psycho cat channel EVER! I've been watching forever and couldn't live without it!
And we 38 are glad that you two legends continue to give us this quality weekly dose of content. Unicorn Circuit is the best show on UA-cam!
Just wanna say thanks for doing Unicorn Circuit.

REALLY want to know more about the Hotwheels cars!!
RX7 was sent to Japan and sold at auction. Right hand drive like us, over there.
Where is the levorg super wagon we've been waiting at? One of my favorite builds and something I wanted to do but no one had shown it's possible
I have to believe there is more behind that supra story... someone is getting taken for a ride there... >_>

19:00 goat for weight distribution purposes
some front wheel drives are very front heavy
Got me anxiously waiting to hear what happened to this rx7
I enjoy this Channel as much as the original. I am happy to see the success you both are enjoying as a result of your hard work, it is awesome~!
Are you (or can you talk to DJ Rod Knock) going to release a full length French-Core PeuGoat track?
It's not sauce that comes with Pizza in France, it's chili oil. You can lightly sprinkle it over the pizza, it goes really well with it, makes the dough/crust much better in my opinion

I vote, when 700k subscribers are reached, I get Marty's hat.
VOYAGER FUKN ROCKS !!!! been listening them for 10 years , seen them live. Perfect for Australia, great Humans !
I litterly wait for these episodes, nothing more entertaining than conspiracy to eating random crap
I'm so excited to find out what the new Unicorn Circuit segment is!
Love how you guys have the custom hotwheels on display 👌👌

Went and watched the Voyager Eurovision entry... surprisingly good for a Eurovision song! Now... back to waiting for updates on the RX7!
I’m watching this on the Shinkansen right now, I’ve never seen so many mad Kei cars on the streets

Years ago in the USA you could go to Hertz and rent a Shelby Mustang and go racing for the weekend. (1960s).
You guys need to shoot a video with the ChatGPT storyline. That would be amazing lol
Where's the Rx-7😂
Love the videos boys.. nice sat night dinner and watching you guys talk some shit.. keep it up

So much content I almost OD'd and had to watch it in 2 parts...
One of the things I love most about MCM is how you never say “like and subscribe” 😂 like fuck sake I will if I want to, and yes I want to.
Number 36 here. Love you guys, best 4wd podcast on the internet!

We were rocking ylvis on the UA-cams just last week. Very ear-wormy
Thanks for the laughs guys, you never fail to deliver.
regarding hydogen vs battery cars, I cant see my self having a battery car, but could in an emergency see my self in a hydrogen car

Also. In the trade’s episode of Bluey, when Chippy is dropped off by Cherry was that game on by Moog playing in the Ute?
Is the dollar-bucks an Australian thing or is that a Bluey reference that has gone mainstream? 😂
