best My Crap Car ever by miles.
Dude should have his own channel!
I wasn't bored watching a video on the world's most boring car! 😃
In this episode, we finally learn that the only reason MCM developed a clothing merch line was to keep Moog clothed and not walking about in the skin.
My only regret is not watching MCM when my friend recommended it years ago. He passed away and I watched an episode that came up under my recommendations thinking of him. Now every episode I enjoy so much and I always wonder how great it would have been watching them with my departed mate.
Best my crap car segment I have ever seen. Absolutely perfect!! Told the story of how us car people feel about our passion. It does not matter what you drive as long as you love it and you want to share that passion with others!
The initial discussion about rimming better be in a short 😂 the My Crap Car segment was amazing. And my personal vibe is the G Wagon kit for the newest Jimny
This episode had me in stitches! Thanks for the shout out, boys & glad the stickers made it! Cheers. Leigh PS: The Unicorn is Scotlands national animal 🤣🤣
Those stickers are epic! The subsequent comedy was all time. Had me dying 💀 dying😂
This Hyundai n vision concept car, has got to be one of my favorite designs out of the last 2 or 3 decades of car designs.
Legitimately a beautiful creation.
That electric micro car is a modern interpretation of the BMW Isetta, which was first built as an Iso Isetta in Italy.
Hilman Hunter!!! 😮😮😮 We had one when I was around four years old (In NZ’s North Island, before we moved across the ditch, to NZ’s West Island, ‘Straya). It was Demolition Derby Car.
Everyone else had massive American cars and my Dad entered this tiny car, ‘cause he figured our could just hide for most of the time and our apprentice mechanic (we had a car yard and a workshop) did just that and won the Derby - The car was still in such good condition, we entered the next years event with that same car.
Allways wondered if they sold those Isetta's in country's that drive on the wrong side of the road. Like when you park the door only opens one way. I am sure some karen would hate that. Might be a problem with the new electric version.😂🤣😂🤣🤪
@@bobbishop9339 You basically step out into the crumple zone. left or right after that is your decision :)
@@bobbishop9339 … the Isetta didn’t have a reverse - so you’d better pay attention when parking in the city!
That was absolutely brilliant.
Victor's an absolute legend, so relatable to everyone who has a $hit nugget.
Sincerely, viewer #39.
PS - Moog, I'll start a gofund running to save your feet.
I just turned youtube on for a midnight snack and got some goats cheese
The editing in the Honda fit video was better than many UA-camrs….
Canadian here!!! In Ontario we have a graduated license system, so you do a written test, that gets you a G1, then 8 months later after practice, you do a practical in car test, then you get your G2, then you have a final in car exam that includes highway testing, and then you get your full G license!!!!
Canadian here, we take tests
But we definitely have different words. Touque is a big one, which is our word for a knitted cap or beanie
Thanks for the upload. My best friend and I used to watch UC together. Until he passed away in 2021. Our great vibes are rekindled every time I catch another episode. Thanks eh.
Marty's face when Moog called shopping the perimeter of the supermarket "rimming" 🤣
The 50kg of potatoes thing is a hangover from the days of the WA Potato Board, then the Potato Corporation.
I read that it was something to do with the way they’re stored.. if they’re not in a well ventilated area and they go off, the gases they produce are extremely toxic.
🙈😂😂 I’ve just walked in after finishing a 12 hour shift on the road repairing broken down cars…and this is the first time I’ve ever watched an episode of you guys other than on MCM main channel! Genuinly been crying with laughter! Thank you! 😂
24:55 nothing beats working on a vehicle with your dad what a great little video 😁 made me smile.
In the greatest cross over ever Scotland's national animal is the Unicorn!!!!
Anyone else sort of have like a massive self awareness eye opener flash back of life when moog said he can’t see because he’s 45? Still feel like a kid in 2010 watching how to wire up a monster tacho on MCM and rake loving everything 😪🥹🫡
Don't drive your hero's? Well... look, honestly, I'm probably never going to be able to drive an original Lancia Stratos, but I still really want to.
Speaking of taxes influencing car purchases. In the States you'll find a lot of Cadillac Escalades. One of the major reasons is the government made a rule that you can write off a much higher percentage of the vehicle's cost the first year if the weight is over 6,000 lbs. This was created to help with work trucks and such, but frequently gets used in the luxury market.
Also, Canada is America's attic. Occasionally we put things up there and then we forget about it.
I actually lost my shit during that rimming in the supermarket bit😂😂😂
I never actually thought about it, but you guys are right, the outside of the supermarket is where we purchase 95% of our goods. Every now and then we jump in to buy some biscuits or pet food but "everything" is on the outside.
I love that you had a Peugeot 106 behind Marty for all this time ❤
Just starting work and MCM ready for tea break, epic
I'm Canadian, and most people seem to say "take a test", though I've heard both. Take is definitely more common.
Great episode again!
If you leave the bung out in the boat, apparently if you cruise around pretty quick it can suck most of the water out then reach over and put it in.
The G-Wagons are actually driven off-road in Germany, not the chromy ones or the V8 ones, but the standard ones. I've heard them to be the choice of hunters/foresters. There is a military version of it as well, called the "wolf", which can be bought by the general public after the military is done with them. Those ones have about as much interior and power as Martys Peugbro after stripping down, but are widely accepted as a utility vehicle and even come as pickups/utes.
Yall got me. Had to break down and order the big version of Cheryl's Box. These boxes are SOOOO good. And the JDM MELON- wow. Just had to order another one😊.
Hey Marty. Dutch family here as well from Mastrict (or however you spell it). Only "Dessart" family in Australia. Ok that's 1 Dutch origin person that replied where's the other.
Epic Chode of an episode dudes. Thanks again for the laughs.
Oh dip midnight walk here in the middle of Canada and a midnight treat pops up on my phone!
Im really enjoying this along with the 37 other people
It's getting really tough setting up new accounts to increase the subscriber count though.
Love this show. My favourite thing on youtube. Keep it up boys
From Toronto too, my favourite Canadian phrase is “have a dart” for having a smoke
I'm one of the 2 dutchies that lit up! 😃😃 16:51 Stroopwafels are the best!
to be fair, the honda fit/jazz is the best car ever made. ultimate track weapon.
Yes we did. We LIT up.😂😂😂putt the stroopwafel on top of your tea cup, then eat it warm
A feature of the plug at the back of the boat is it will actually drain the boat while in the water so long as you are moving forward.
Grew up fishing in leaky aluminum boats and that's easier than pumping
Great episode, and really impressive My Crap Car. Well done.
You boys and these epichodes are EPIC!
"If you've spent $10 million with Mercedes" yeah Marty, guarantee that if Lindsay Fox wants a new G-wagon to add to his collection that almost certainly already includes at least a couple of them, he goes right to the front of the list. I remember one of the big two car magazines reporting that when Mercedes made the CLK-GTR the importer rang him up and asked him how many he wanted.
so Isaac aka "the HyperChode" saved Marty's arse, with a plug for his butt end, to stop it filling up with water? Class. Play on.
Hello Canadian here 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Take a test. Also toque vs beanie.
Looking forward to the Mytery gifts, fellas
A rooster shaped like an automotive wheel stopping wedge would be a Cock Block.
If Marty's car was a Citroen Berlingo and had that sticker then it would be a coq au van!
Hey, glad to see my fank made it after awhile. "Tasty Cake." Great video guys!
So much respect to these guys.
Hey, i'm one of two from the Netherlands!
In germany/austria the G Class was meant to be a proper G eländewagen (off road vehicle) for military, alpine and other off road uses (hunters, forester,...). They had a reliable 6 cyl Diesel or otto and get the job done. Somehow the export markets wanted luxury Versions of it with V8s etc. and the market will always get what it wants. Today people use the old ones still, or drive something different.
"Are people taking their G-wagon offroad"?
*WhistlinDiesel intensifies*
Canadian here: It really depends on the area as Canada is massive and have lots of variations but "Take a Test" is very common
Think there is a nursery rhyme about going around the outside of the supermarket, it’s Rim-A-Rim O’Rosy.
Alright, so take a stroopwaffel and set it on a mug of warm beverage (e.g., tea, hot cocoa) for a couple minutes. Double check fitment before fluid is added.
It'll be even more delicious.
Got my order Wednesday, thanks for the free gift also. 👍
bro put low drag insight wheels on the Jazz, great mod
Hahaha those are actually the stock rims for the LX model in Canada. But, I appreciate the street cred from people thinking it's a mod xD
Blokes out of control and I love it!
Canadian here. Take a test. Write an exam!
Now we need a "meat tube donut human" -tshirt!
In my experience as a citizen of America's Hat, we usually say "write a test" for a certification, or we "take a test" for school.. or we write an exam for school or take an exam for a certification.
Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me, either 😅
Basically, we use write and take interchangeably.
WOW this is why i love you guys great circuit
Man its so good when you go rimming the supermarket 😂
I learned a lot here today. I’m getting a Paris Brest tomorrow.
OMG I couldn't stop laughing at the rambling toward the end hahaha you guys are such legends
I was one of the 2 dutchies that lit up... HEEL GOED!!! Okay Marty say this Neu ken in de Keu ken haha
loved the rimming part
And the website for the microline says 'Space for 2 adults and 3 beer crates'. The want is strong.
I honestly wouldn't mind some more motorbike fun, it's interesting to see what's different and what's the same
Lol. So funny at 1 am. From Canada lol. Way to keep talking at the end Moog
The G-Class ist awesome for Offroad use! For me, it is one of the best Cars ever build. They are reliable, comfy, tough and spacious.
God bless my little hands 🙏. Have replaced many spark plugs on the Honda Jazz species without ever removing the shroud
We should all be able to go rimming in the shops especially if you can choose who to rim with
Crumbled hot fresh stroopwaffel is the best.
Love Marty's drumroll.
Ooh! A Golf R in cab yellow.
NEXT!
I love my rimming around the supermarket.. Wait
"Have you read a thesaurus?" GDI Moog lol
45th subscriber here, just received loot from the shop, love the mystery item, I've been meaning to get a jet tag, also the tip was 100% intentional to achieve the funny number!
my XA Coupe is calypso Green with a Saddle(Tan Interior) lol
Now I'm confused Marty has Scottish ears and face shape and his family name is commonly found in Scotland
I'm surprised to find out he's dutch
Waffles are the best with a cup of tea
When Moog said “I’m 45 and can’t see shit” was the most relatable thing I have ever heard. Had to go to bifocals this year myself at 45
People from the Northern end of the Yorke Peninsula say, "Where's that to?" when querying a location.
Some good laughs in this one 👍
3:01 - inspired by the BMW Isetta from the 1950s.
I heard the mystery gift is a Pube from one of the guys. Talk about a prize! 😂🎉❤
That Electric thing is a direct copy of the Peel p50, just brought into current-age tech
Stroopwaffels are the bomb!
So excited to see my crap car video on The Unicorn Circuit for all 41(?) viewers to enjoy! I was afraid it was a little long, so I edited it down a bit from the original and crossed my fingers. Thank you so much to Marty and Moog for featuring it, and I'm glad everyone loved it so much!
It was really good but you confused me at one point.
You reckon you dreamed of owning a 2019 WRX as a child? How does that work?
@@LorchVHS That's a fair question! What I meant was, I dreamed of owning a WRX/STI since childhood, regardless of the year. I was always intrigued by the bugeye/blobeye/hawkeye models, but my ultimate favorite is the GR series STI hatchbacks. Unfortunately, cost of ownership (maintenance, insurance, fuel, etc) pushed the STI out of my budget when considering a long-term daily driver, especially since I was commuting 70kms every day. A 2015+ WRX with the FA20 motor just made more sense at that point.
I'd REALLY love to own a 2011-2014 STI hatchback one day, but my 2019 WRX is still awesome!
