Unless you're claying, you should really be using D1801.....and correction should be performed after clay

yes vehicle is clayed and yes sprayed afterwards. No messing around here

I've used it with a synthetic clay towel no marring and combined both steps

Your supposed to/I recommend doing this first, then washing it off, then taking a claybar to the car.
A claybar won't remove iron particles this will.
