love your honesty and defo agree its hard not to overtrain when you have so many areas you want to improve. Already taken your tip not to try and do it all at once. 4 more weeks of strength training, then into your run faster plan...but will now take a deload week in between! thank you x
Our please. we'll always be honest to help as many people as we can. I love the run speed developer programme, think it's my favourite programme. Glad we can help, and yes get that deload week in.
Very helpful. I did a simulation day yesterday and was planning to get in a workout with my studio gym the next morning. But my body hasnt fully recovered. I got five weeks before hyrox so i decided to play the smart game, active rest, pool session because I got another hyrox training with my gym tomorrow. One thing i learn from this video is that if I do a hard training session each day with little recovery, my progress diminishes. So, yes, playing the smart game to prevent injury. Hyrox prep reminds me of my rugby days.

Perfect stuff, and yes exactly the same as prepping for rugby. Goal has to be to be consistent and improve, no one ever does that injured
