I don’t have a sled at my gym, can you recommend any alternative exercises please? Cheers
Hey - sure - have a read of this article - I go over a few options in that roxlyfe.com/how-to-crush-the-sled-push-at-hyrox/
Sled pull / push
Is grass easier or harder than what they use in a comp?
Got first one in january. Managed 70kg on grass. Need plenty of work
Hey. Its hard to say to be honest - depends on how soft the grass is etc. As well as the sled youre using, underside of it. Best thing you can do is load it up so it really hard but just about moveable and do that in your training!
Did a full one in the gym 1hr 26mins 10s im 47
Great stuff, well done!
Is there a place to store personal items and wash after the race?
There is a place to check in your bag / personal items at the race. In terms of washing after the race, it will differ depending on venue, but in my experience (in the UK), then no, there isnt anywhere for a shower.
@@roxlyfe thanks for the reply. I'm registered for my first Hyrox in Chicago this year. Appreciate the tips.
@@kylecooper7888 No problem, good luck with it!
No carbon plates for your shoes, the plate won't flex and pulls your heel out of your shoe.
Ah yes, interesting point, thank you!
