I absolutely love Mexico City. Been there once in 2019, and I can't wait to go back. Such beautiful architecture/landscapes, unbelievably fresh and delicious food, and friendly people. Never really felt unsafe except for walking around Centro Historico at night when I saw some dude get curb-stomped.
I think that the man at the meat stand was being genuinally friendly when he offered that tequila shot for free, there's good and bad people in every neighborhood, you met both on that market. I got to say YOU HAVE BALLS MY FRIEND for going to that place by yourself.
Watching this video for the first time and wow The events that’s transpired for you to get to the coke house was crazy. As a latino I know that these alley ways are extremely dangerous. One of the guys even jokingly said it’s gonna cost you 5000 pesos. Someone in the background starting shouting “he’s recording” and that’s when the other gentlemen that handed you the beer got a little shaken. That’s why he started 11:59 asking you if you were recording. Good thing to stay confident and let them know you’re a youtuber. Amazing Vlog.
I lived as a gringo in Mexico City for A couple of years. Him going down that alley was just straight up crazy. He is luck he got out of there unhurt and with all his possessions.
Kurt, I just found your blog a few days ago and I love it. Thank you for posting content you don’t normally see on UA-cam. You made me miss Mexico! Stay safe!
As US born Mexican-American, I love your Mexico videos. I used to take yearly trips to Mexico, but stopped when I had kids. I miss it greatly. Like everywhere else that is poverty stricken, there is crime, no doubt, but watching the hospitality and love of the common Mexican folk is heartwarming. My people make me so proud. Viva la Raza!

@@moibe182 that's not what a trap house means. It doesn't literally mean a house meant to trap people. A trap house refers to a place that is used to sell drugs and to do other illegal stuff.

You were safe most of the time except for when you went into that place with the guys drinking. They were good vibes and all but never go into an ally by yourself man.
Being safe in mexico is equally saying that being in somalia is safe. Jesus christ. Mexico is not safe at all, BUT, there's safe places in mexico(like ciudad de mexico) but sadly are few, drug dealers, sicarios, robbers, rapist, and cartel members are everywhere like literally. If you are in mexico, you need to meet guides from mexico that are trustful and guide you the idiosincrancy life on mexico, dangerous and no go places, turistic places like cancún, etc and interesting locations worth your time. You can be the most ignorant human being but you need to know that some locations, suburban areas, rural places and urban market shops in mexico can make your life in to hell, i mean mexico is the most violent country in the world so you need to watch your back 24/7(more if you're a woman) and obviously learn some spanish before going to shady and dangerous places. Good luck and don't trust people, and don't go to shady places, if you want to have a great experience as a tourist, again, go to tourist specific locations, like beaches, ancient places and cultures like the mayans and aztecs, etc. Yesterday i read in the news that a european tourist got killed for going one of those urban shop markets and meeting the wrong people, so again, don't trust people even if they smile at you, no one knows if the have the devil inside of them. Saludos! ;)

This how a lot of stores are in Mexico haha. Definitely not some shady stuff happening in them lmao
I discovered you from your newer videos and props on the Spanish you have improved so much since this video.
You were about to get kidnapped drinking that beer with the raza and recording be safe my g

I think that the man at the meat stand was being genuinally friendly when he offered that tequila shot for free, there's good and bad people in every neighborhood, you met both on that market. I got to say YOU HAVE BALLS MY FRIEND for going to that place by yourself.
Watching this video for the first time and wow
The events that’s transpired for you to get to the coke house was crazy.
Love how you're so open to trying all sorts of food.

Kurt, I just found your blog a few days ago and I love it. Thank you for posting content you don’t normally see on UA-cam. You made me miss Mexico! Stay safe!
Damn u cute
As US born Mexican-American, I love your Mexico videos. I used to take yearly trips to Mexico, but stopped when I had kids. I miss it greatly. Like everywhere else that is poverty stricken, there is crime, no doubt, but watching the hospitality and love of the common Mexican folk is heartwarming. My people make me so proud. Viva la Raza!
Very humble people in Mexico. Love the culture!
He doesn’t realize he was at the trap house with these foos sippin on Victoria lmao sheeeesh 💯💯💯

If ykyk
wan't a trap, if it, then they would have robbed him. Things happened and suddenly one or two of them thought they could ask him for the 5 beers, but I beleive, the others, like the one that gave him the beer defended him. As you can see he went out with his camera.
@@moibe182 that's not what a trap house means. It doesn't literally mean a house meant to trap people. A trap house refers to a place that is used to sell drugs and to do other illegal stuff.

@@lorddaquanofhouserastafari4177 he didn't look German at all, he looked Italian, dark hair and more Mediterranean/south European face. When I was a young little boy my family stopped at the border of Mexico and passed and I still remember it to this day. Filled with markets and tiny stores we went inside and as a kid it was awesome exploring and seeing the different candy and food but in a different language it was a culture awaking experience for sure and I'm grateful my parents took me there but I plan to one day actually do a tour of Mexico!
Dude in the car was telling you he was a boxing youtuber and warned you about having your camera stolen. He also asked for your channels name. Italian dude was concerned for your safety too. I love Mexico bro but like many poverty stricken countries crime is a big problem. Take care and God bless you. Never stop exploring and live your dream. 👍🏾
Man! you end up in the best situations. Your approach is amazing... when someone yells at you rudely, you approach them with "todo bien" and they always change their tone. I usually stay away from a lot of strangers on my adventures, but I may implement some of your ways. Brilliant!

Saludos! ;)
